First off, the staff are super nice and extremely helpful. There are so many books to choose from and they are not badly priced. They have a section for NEW books and a section for USED books. They have childrens books, teen books and adult books. They have cookbooks from multiple different celebrities, which I thought was pretty cool. My whole TWILIGHT SAGA book collection was going to be $48; This includes Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn, Bree Tanner + Life & Death. To add on Midnight Sun was going to be $25. I ended up going to Amazon though, because Red Rock Books ran out of certain books before I could buy them. Oh, they also have multiple NANCY DREW books.

My family LOVES Red Rock Books. Regular new releases with a great selection of used books. Also, a TON of trinkets and cool little knick knacks. You could find a gift for almost anyone.

Friendly staff and Excellent selection of books. Reasonably priced, but I would have liked them cheaper. My Clive Cussler novels averaged $5 each, and they buy back for like 50¢ store credit.

They also sell other knick knacks so it’s worth a trip to peruse at your leisure and flip through some eye-catching titles.

A lot of books for sale, many different categories. They have some vintage and novelty items as well. I saw a couple chairs in there to sit and read. Cool vibe with a cool cat named Oliver. 😀👍🏼

Lovely little bookstore, I could easily spend hours (and every cent I have). The young lady tending the shop was very friendly without being pushy, the gifts are unique, and the books are ever-so-tempting!

Like an old friend you dearly love but didnt know still lived in town, Red Rock Books has all the perks and whimsy of the independent used bookstore, but carries enough new books and other fun new stuff that maybe just maybe they will survive the modern eras lost connection to the physical book. I can only shop here infrequently because we always fi d way too many treasures to buy :) With an expansive reading selection, kitchy and unique gifts, jewelry, tarot cards, giftcards, and some clothing, there might just be something for everyone. Could do with a giant dusting, and the cluttered counter displays hide some very cool products, but overall this place is a true gem in a small town. The kids will love their very own reading room, and the material selection awesomely cradle to grave. In true to independent bookstore form, authors from various viewpoints and experiences are represented. Great place to spend a Sunday.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Theres a wide selection of new and used books. This is a good place to find unique gifts. I purchased a big amethyst geode and a deck of tarot cards, both for a good price. Ridgecrest is fortunate to have this establishment.

Great bookstore, love coming in for incense and to see what new crystal I can bring home. Ordering books is always simple and decently priced. The owners are nice and professional. Oliver the cat always follows us and lets us pet him. Overall great store and very friendly.

If I could give them 10 stars for outstanding, personable customer service and for having the knowledge to point you in the right direction for what you are looking for either for yourself or a gift I would give them 10 stars!!!My twin was in from back East and found a great gift for her husband and a few treasures for herself. She enjoyed meeting the staff that I bragged about which also includes Oliver the resident cat! She wishes her town (that is much larger than Ridgecrest) had a book/gift shop like Red Rock. If she ever gets a chance to return she wants to visit Red Rock Book again!

This place has a great book selection among other non book items. The guy with the glasses was extremely sweet and super helpful when it came to our questions regarding books and prices. He even let me feed the store cat, Oliver, treats!!

One of the best bookstores Ive been in. Im in here at least once or twice a month and the staff has always been very welcoming and helpful. Oliver (the cat) is a treat and theres plenty of neat trinkets in addition to a wide selection of new and used books. theyre also happy to order anything for you. Ive bought some of the homemade oils, soaps, etc. and would also highly recommend them!

Best bookstore ever! Have always shopped there before I look anywhere else because of their great service. If they dont have what you want they will gladly order it. Even rare or unusual older prints of books. I got a gorgeous copy of Charles Darwins Voyage of the H.M.S. Beagle that was printed in I think the mid 1950s with beautiful woodcut illustrations. Seriously, theyll find what you want. Plus, I like their cat, hes such a cute little ball of fluff!

Way more than books! Spend an hour or 5 and youll still not see everything. Will be back!

I Love RED ROCK BOOKS, I use them whenever I need to find a Specific book to complete a series. I just give them a call, tell Them what Im looking for and They locate it for me at the best possible price.

Very clean and well kempt, full of books. Seems they dont cycle much stock in the used books section, some have been sitting there for years.Employees are friendly and personable, and the kitty is a bonus!

They dont have every title you are looking for but they a good selection of texts. New books are full price and older books are discounted. There is a store cat wandering around if you happen to be very allergic. They also sell some new age items by the register.

I love visiting this little book store. I always find interesting engineering books. Cant wait to go back.
