They have sporting and hunting goods at good prices. Hit them up for their shoe clearance. The two pairs of work boots I purchased are fantastic. Considering one of the pairs was originally priced for $110 and I bought two pairs for $80. Good stuff and the customer service representatives are friendly.

This is the nicest and most well stocked Big 5 Ive ever been too. I went in not expecting much being that Ridgecrest is so small and removed from metropolitan areas, boy was I wrong.The store is clean and the merchandising and displays are all done very well with plenty of stock.I came in to check their ammo supply and ended up buying some. Process was quick and painless considering California is such a pain.Very pleasantly surprised, wish my home town Big 5 was this nice.

Kinda garbage actually. Depends on what you are looking for. Not much selection for most things. No one seems to be able to actually sell ammo. They can reserve it for you though, but whats the point? If you want to sell ammo, hire and staff people that can actually sell it, or Ill just go elsewhere.

Nice quiet area and less crowded location for this chain. I found something very hard to find these days, 3 out of 20 Big 5 in 100 mile radius had a shotgun- the onerous government requirements were handed professionally and I was very happy with the service from Lacy the store manager— walked me through all the government BS hoops and made it a painless as possible. Recommend this location highly.

Great deal on shoes, sports gear and more. Always liked Big 5. If you need ammo call ahead to see if they have it in stock. A lot of times only limited supply on certain calibers of ammo. 👍😀 Friendly staff and Good management in my opinion.

The employees were extremely helpful. And the manager even ran to the back during my transaction to find the correct size of shoe he assured me they had in inventory.

The level of customer service is off the charts in my book. Called to see if they had any hats, specifically for my team, as you see in my profile picture, and given an answer quickly over the phone. Upon arrival, I was greeted promptly, by the blonde who answered my call and taken directly to my new hat. I also asked for jogging pants and was promptly escorted to several selections, one of which I purchased as well. I have to say that I am extremely happy for service provided as always from this location. Well done. I will continue to shop her in the future.

Bought little gas tanks needed for oir stove during a cross country road trip, great little store. Would give 5 stars if Big 5 in general would welcome to the real world. I stopped shopping at Big 5s after trying to get a job at one and being told they would hire me if I cut my hair and covered my tattoos. Not cool....not cool at all. Used to frequent Big 5s but now avoid them.

Some of the staff was very friendly and helpful. My previous visit was no so go. The staff gentlemen ask if I needed help and I said yes, but he ignored me by doing something while I stood there, rude guy.

I have been to a lot of Big 5 stores this one is not much different. The people are friendly and helpful. Best place to get sports supplies. They had a reasonable selection of clothing items as well. Even some toys for the kids.

Got a pair of New Balance walking shoes at a great price. We are very fortunate to have a Big 5 in Ridgecrest.

Because they dont go very big wide selection because because this is a small town and were the only carries so much stuff is not very big store I mean its good size its all right but its not humongous night that but we only get like certain things you know so its not like you know Foot Locker with big fires then got other Big 5 in your or three times 94 times bigger than ours so we only get so many items in so many things in we only get what you get we get some of the top shoes and suck their but not too much of a big selection

This place has no problem with selling you returned broken merchandise as new product. Look at the packaging if its damaged you probably getting ripped off.

Guys followed us like we were going to steal something 😂 and when we left unsatisfied they looked at my whole family up and down to see if we had stolen anything 👎👎 lay off the drugs dudes, we just wanted decent shoes. Besides that place was clean & organised .

Its like any other Big 5, but watch out...some of the salespeople seem to think theyre working on commission at a used car dealership, claiming they dont have an item in stock when they told you over the phone they did, then try to talk you into buying a more expensive replacement for what you actually want.

Tried to buy sports shoes. Told the guy to pull everything in size 14. Only brought out 1 box at a time.... Just took too long to get the message across that I need to see more than 1 at a time, so I left...

The young lady who was working today, 3/17/17, was extremely rude to my bride who had an exchange. She acted very put out that my bride had left a hanger in the dressing room even though my wife brought the clothing items that were to be returned to the racks. Its a shame that customers are treated this way, and well be taking our business elsewhere.

I bought a pair of shots took the receipt off of them but didnt where then and they let me exchange them Ridgecrest is the best
