Girls were super pleasant when I brought my items in. I commend them because I was appalled at the behavior of the lady sold her items right before me. Kindness goes a long way especially when you are wanting a business to give you money. Great selection and very organized.

We had the pleasure of dealing with Urica. She had the worst attitude of any employee I’ve had to encounter in the Jackson, MS area. After walking up to the bathroom door, I was told “there is somebody in there” with the most condescending attitude. I hadn’t even attempted to go in and there is no indicator for bathroom occupancy. After this, we tried to sell our daughters things that she had outgrown. She again was condescending and when my wife told her she could be nicer, she took off her mask to show us she was smiling. Of course smiling while being rude is still being rude, no matter how you slice it. We will not be returning.

I’ve been to this store a few times. But today I was blown away with the best customer service in my life. Ms. Urica was kind and patient and very knowledgeable about what they could accept for purchase. I sometimes feel uncomfortable selling my used garments but Urica was doing everything she could do to make me feel comfortable. Please visit this location and rest assured you won’t be disappointed!!

Low inventory in this store. I go to a lot of once upon a childs and this one has less options than most. Semi friendly staff. They stay behind the counter the entire time but, when checking out I found them friendly. The store is well organized. Plenty of parking. Bathrooms are fine. You have to ask for it to be opened for you. There are almost no toys at this location and minimal baby equipment.

Inventory is very low here. I think people would rather donate to goodwill rather than waste time here which is why the selections are so low. The store is clean and very organized but this is the first once upon a child that I’ve seen not packed out with stuff.

I shop here very often but my most recent visits have been unpleasant. They do seem very low on inventory but yet the last few times they have hardly purchased any of my items which were in good condition. They also lack high end items that other locations seem to have. I also feel the last few times some of the staff have been rude.

Staff was kind of rude. I wouldn’t sell my items here because they really lowball you. I have twins and was selling their newborn to 3 month clothing. All the clothes were in great condition and washed twice no stains. Some of the items my boys had only worn once. There was a jacket in there neither one of them had worn. They took everything out that they thought would sell. Offered 24 items for $14. None of the clothes had stains on them. I went through, sorted, checked and washed them twice.Brands of clothes were Carters, H&M, Old Navy, Cat & Jack,etc.

We shop here ALOT! We love it. Great quality clothes for great prices. Brand name(Nike, UA,etc.) And even garanimals (Walmart).My only negative comment is theyre low on inventory at the moment and theyre extremely picky about what they buy from you.

Employees were very nice and informative. They only bought a few of my items for about a dollar a piece. Very picky about what they will buy even if it is name brand with tags still on it. The wait time is not long. Nice clean store. Good prices on clothes and big selection. Very organized.

I will NEVER return to this store EVER, the staff is so rude, and if you are considering selling your kids clothes to them I advise you not too,I sold all my name brand clothes to them and all I got was $50 for 30 items. They basically cheat you.The items i sold them. Shrimp and grits. Columbia. North face. Royal child. Mud pie. GB girls. Red bean. Banana split. Under armorIf I had a choice I would give them 0 stars

After reading some of the reviews I believed they may judge people off of appearance. THIS IS A CONSIGNMENT STORE!!? But if you purchase anything make sure you wash and disinfect the items. But other than that the store appears to be clean and neat. You can find some good bargains on the smaller items.

Rude staff. Brought a bag or name brand items but was stopped at the door and told that they dont accept items in a bag, clear bind etc. They told me the rules were online and and on their Facebook page. The stores I went to throughout Houston, TX didnt have these rules but this store is selling stained clothing. I turned right around and donated the bag to the Goodwill and placing the items from Janie and Jack online.

Wonderful staff very helpful whenever needed, very nice clothes great condition. Personally love coming here to get some of the cutest outfits for a great price

I really enjoy this place! Glad we finally got one in Jackson ms.. wish the location was better but its not bad.. Some prices exceeded what I thought was appropriate but others you cant beat! Glad the older children sizes are growing!

I will never take clothes up there to sell to them. I had two boxes of gently and/barely used clothes and they only kept 11 items and only gave me $4.80. The prices for some stuff is outrageous. I will be going back Friday to buy the stuff back that they kept. I can take it somewhere else and get more for those items.

My first experience was great! Brought in some of my sons clothes to sale and they paid me fairly for them! As my first time I was expecting to get low baled but they actually came through and offered a fair price for my clothes..they also had super cute clothes for great prices.. I’ll definitely be back!

This Store is Awesome! I came in with my folks to buy some clothes for my cousins and the staff was so friendly! I dont know about this watching nonsense. I even witnessed a customer get rude with the staff and they responded very professionally and courteously! Will definitely be coming back!

I actually love the store as far as the prices I was shopping for a newborn baby girl so an outfit for her was I got in the range of $7.50 to $8.50 and my 3 year old is in a 5t a pair of jeans for her was $6.50 to 8.50....I think they carry prices by Brand as well so thats why somethings are kinda pricey...but the clothes are like new! They are gently worn! Ill be shipping here for as long as my girls can fit the clothes! They have Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring clothes! I LOVE It....I told my friends about it ! Best store around to me ! And the staff was friendly to me, I went to shop not look to see if they was looking at me lol like some of the reviews say!

The owner (Urica) fired me because I applied to the new store next door because she was “uncomfortable” with me doing so. Which is fine because I found a job that pays twice as much as I was getting paid there 🙂. After working there now I see why they got the reviews they got and that’s exactly why business is slow😂

I believe you will get more selling online than you would selling them to this store. I use a lot of gas just for them to only give me $1.50.. Never again

When I walked in the store it looked very neat and nice, I made a comment to the girl working that the store was much nicer and cleaner than others I’d been in....she just looked at me like I was an idiot. Then they offered me $3 for a pair of $60 shoes that had been worn once. I did see a few good items and made a purchase..but I stood at the register while the manager walked right passed me and didn’t speak, and the 2 girls behind the desk saw me and one went the other way and the other just left me standing there for 5+ minutes after making eye contact with me multiple times. (Never spoke or said just a moment) Decent clothes and great prices, but I won’t ever go back because of the terrible customer service.

Brought in a about three containers of clothes and most of the items were bought. About $100 for shirts mostly. The staff was friendly and they called when they had finished going through my items. I am very please with the service. Its very hard to shop for little boys, but i found some great stuff in here for my son at great prices as well.

So, a lot of other reviews talk about rudeness, but I have never experienced this here. Almost my entire baby wardrobe is from Once Upon a Child and their 10 for $10 deal on onesies cannot be beaten! I have visited this store more than 20 times! In addition to onesies, I have found great (and cheap!) sleep-sacks, cute outfits for photos and holidays, shoes, and baby carriers. There is also a bathroom, which is a plus when you’re pregnant or with a child.I suspect that many of the people experiencing rudeness were ones bringing items to sell as I imagine there are many rules about what is/isn’t accepted, and they probably don’t pay you much given how cheap they sell items for. I can’t comment on that experience as I have never consigned there. I probably wouldn’t ever consign there as there are so many other big consignment events that offer better margins or you can sell things yourself For higher prices on Facebook Marketplace.

Rude staff. I barely even stepped in the store before I was told I couldn’t bring in my items. The lady didn’t even greet me. She had a disgusted look on her face. So I’m not sure what the problem was maybe she thinks she is too good to work in a cosignment store.

Management and staff were rude! The previous staff were exceptional but the new crew is the worst! I will never return. They weren’t friendly, I wasn’t greeted upon entrance they literally looked at me and kept working and the music was way too loud I thought I had walked into a nightclub, and they were rude to my special needs son. I asked if they could turn the music down because of his sensory issues and they didn’t bother.

We barely got threw the door the lady said we do not except anything in bags. She was very rude she didnt greet us. I feel if this is the case it should be posted on the site. The one in Hattiesburg took our stuff that were in bags. If I could I wouldnt have given the one star. They need to learn to talk and handle things professional. Will never return.

Just left the store on Countyline Rd. The same thing happened to the others, happened to me. I barely got in the door before a RUDE employee with a nasty attitude stopped me telling me they only accept items in bins or containers that “can’t be falling apart”. Talking down to ME as if I was beneath HER. I will NEVER shop here and will be posting this review on every platform I have!

I would not recommend nobody to shop here that’s color simply because they look over you & attitude bad but let someone WHITE walk in they help & serve them very well & have the nicest attitude

My sister and I went yesterday to sale items and to check out some of the prices. Out of all the workers I think a total of three spoke. One young lady spoke and asked if she could help me. I dont like the fact of how they watched me. I guess its because I like to dress comfortable and I had on my jeans, t-shirt and my scarf. I came in to find my daughter a new place to shop at since her favorite store closed but if I dont feel comfortable in a store I dont spend my hard earned money or my husbands hard money. My sister said they werent that friendly and the prices that they o offer arent that good. I see they do have alot of merchandise and some prices are ok and some are to high because you can go get it brand new for those prices. I wanted to see how they did my sister stuff first before I decided what to do with my daughter items so I will either put them on consignment or have a sale. When I like your establishment I will shop frequently and buy alot but if I dont I wont come there or recommend it

As a mom pregnant with a miracle baby, the last thing you want to experience when you finally get the chance to shop for your baby is rudeness. The employees here are very rude and they look at you crazy like you are a piece if trash. I will not be returning!

Even after reading the mass amounts of negative reviews, I decided to give them a try... From now on, Im going to listen to the reviews. Im not poor or dirty by any means and thats how they made me feel. Just because my jumparoo thing had normal wear on it, they wouldnt take it. I sold it online for more then I was expecting with the wear. Js! I also brought in two baskets of clothes. (40+ pieces) half of it was never worn... I took them off their original hangers and took the tags off before I brought them there... Some of the articles of clothing that were never worn were expensive as well. I wish I could post pictures... They only picked out one pair of leggings and a dress that WAS obviously worn, offering me only $2... Told me that all the rest was too stained and worn to take... I still have the tags and hangers of the new stuff... ( Should have left them on them) and my husband and I went through every stitch of clothing inspecting them for stains and wear... Again I wish I could post pictures. What makes this worse is we live almost an hour away from this place and they told me to leave it with them because they had other people ahead of me. I informed them very clearly that I dont live close at all and they told me they will give me a call most likely the next day. So with that information i leave. I get 10 minutes away from my house and they call... First she got frustrated because I couldnt understand what she had said at first due to me driving in the boondocks, then they refuse to tell you how much over the phone... It takes a half a tank of gas round trip to go to this place, keep this in mind. So, I make it home and call them back and say I know that you cant give me a price over the phone, but could you at least say if its worth the drive back up there since I am on my last bit of gas. They say no they cant say, so I go anyway thinking maybe itll be worth it... No... $2 was not worth it... A simple i wouldnt come would have been nice. I will not recomend nor ever return to this place. Businesses like this are why a lot of people are going with swap shops on Facebook and Craigslist.

Very poor customer service. Very unfriendly. This was my first time going so I didnt know you couldnt bring it in a garbage bag. Very rude. I ended up sorting out all the clothes myself. I think the manager deals with who she wants to deal with it. Clothes are way too pricey too, for those prices I might was well buy new things. I dont like the way they watched me either. When dropping off for consignment they dont keep up with sets then tell you they arent there. when i got my clothes back they had missings matches they claimed wasnt there in the bag they didnt want. Please be aware of this if you bring sets in to consign. Every set was on hangers til they made me take them off in order to leave them in first place. just very displeased with service especilly after i let them know before i left the store and no one seemed to care!! Not great customer service either.

Will never go to this business again. The cashiers are rude and nasty as well as the manager. They wont be in business long with those attitudes.
