I could not have asked for a better experience than the experience Elle James gave me. The entire staff was so friendly, helpful, and kind. I also love that it’s appointment only, because the whole experience felt so special and all attention was on me with no distractions. The entire staff worked together to give me the best experience possible and helped me find the dress of my dreams. I can’t recommend Elle James enough!

Honestly I’m speechless. Nothing I could say about Elle James bridal could truly capture the whole experience. The women were incredibly personable, friendly, and well rounded. The place it self was enough to make you feel like you stepped into an episode of say yes to the dress. Elle James was the first place I went and tried on dresses and I wouldnt have it any other way. She let me take a moment to myself every time I put on a dress, had at least ten dresses for me to try on when I go there and listened to everything myself and my party had to say!! Let’s start off with the fact that I am SUPER picky. I sent EJB tons of notes and pictures of things I liked/didn’t like about dresses I had seen online.Whenever I arrived, Elizabeth greeted me and walked me through how the appointment would go. She had already pulled 6-7 dresses she thought I might like based on my long list of notes I had provided.As I tried on each dress, Elizabeth intently listened to my likes/dislikes about each one. She was very patient with me, while I tried on close to 20 dresses total (some I tried on more than once).All in all, it was evident EJB’s staff is very intentional about catering to each bride’s unique needs/wants. It was such a dream experience, and I can’t thank EJB enough for going above and beyond to help me find the perfect dress for my big day!Thank you Elle James. Kristin knows exactly what she is doing, and I felt like a princess from the second I walked through the door. The shop is so cute and has the best lighting, and it was such a personal experience! I honestly had no clue what style I wanted and felt overwhelmed by the options, and Kristin was able to find my style better than I was. I am thrilled about my dress! Kristin (the owner)is a super helpful and fun bridal sales attendant. She helped me narrow down what styles and designers work best for my body type. The dresses in the store are all gorgeous and classically modem. They do appointments one at a time in a naturally lit, clean, and spacious showroom, making for an intimate and personal experience. I highly recommend Elle James to any Jackson-area bride looking for a high end experience and dress.

I cannot say enough about Kristin and her boutique. From the minute I walked in the door, I felt like I had her undivided attention. It is such a private, one-on-one experience where I felt so comfortable. Kristin had picked out several gowns before my appointment, all of which I loved. She has amazing taste, and is so knowledgable about her gowns and the whole gown-buying process. My appointment went by so fast, but I enjoyed it every second of it. You wont find a dress-buying experience like this anywhere else in Jackson!!

I will NEVER EVER set foot into Elle James Bridal again and personally they should be ashamed of their behavior and remarks when they feel or think a customer is not listening or looking..When I went for my bridal appointment for my wedding in July of 2020 I did not feel welcomed the minute I walked through the door. I am a size 8 in regular clothes so I have been told I might be closer to a 12 in wedding dresses; anywho, I have a $5,000 budget and I made that clear to the consultant at the beginning of my appointment.As I began to undress in the room as I awaited some choices to be brought to me to try on I heard one of the ladies say (not verbatim): I think someone else here should help her because I don’t feelcomfortable selling to a black “plus” size woman. To my understanding when was it a crime to be black and secondly when did a size 8 become “plus” size but I guess I didn’t fit into the mold of the perfect “skinny” bride.As I came out I tried to act calm as if I didn’t hear anything but I quickly ended the appointment and left! Immediately I called my father and sister and they recommended other boutiques like Lace Bridal and Rue Bridal that I will call tomorrow and set up an appointment and will hopefully have a better experience as I look forward to finding my dream dress for the most perfect day with the most perfect man!
