Sure the guy sounded knowledgeable but he literally looked under my hood for 10 seconds, didnt look at the catalytic converter I had brought, then told me I purchased the wrong one and it would be $1,300 to fix my car. Not going back

I tried several big Brand muffler shops. None of them could do the job. Brian and his crew did a fantastic job for me got my truck running when no one else could. Awesome shop, put my 70 Chevy in there hands to weld me up some tips. I forget there names but everyone was helpful and thorough. Tips came out A1. If your looking for fair prices, and great service this is your one stop shop.

Highly recommend this place. I went to install my catalytic converter there and I had an excellent service. the price was right and they were really really fast I think it took them 15 minutes or less to get it done.

I needed a Cadillac converter for a Toyota and I called pretty much top rated places... Muffler Man on Franklin Boulevard who quoted me in person at $450 few others for the price did actually go down some but then I called Affordable Muffler I called and talked to Mike whos one of the nicest guys you can meet ..hes honest. And just an all-around good guy they put my muffler on for $230!!! never again will I let any of my family members or my friends go to anybody but affordable Mufflers are honest absolutely worth it youd be crazy not to go out there might be a little ways away (Im from South Sac)but its well worth it forget the other guys there the top spot

Just got a Prius. People tend to steal catalytic converters from them. Wanted a way to protect it and they welded some re-bar to make it hard to remove. ONLY $60. Previous place I asked would do it for $220.

Came here after going to AMC Muffler down the street because AMC couldn’t figure out how to fix my exhaust leak. These guys at Afordable muffler got me in and found the issue and fixed it right away(literally less than 10min). The whole time it was my donut gasket from headers to cat being worn out. The gave me a new one at a great price and on I went with my day.

Very disappointed with how I was treated by this shop... My grandpa went and placed an order with Brian for a catalyic converter for my 2014 Hyundai Veloster. I was quoted 1,000. He told him the order was placed and that it would be there that weekend. So that Saturday I drove 30 minutes there just to be told the part wasnt in..... I then left and called back Monday to be told again it still wasnt in and that he would call me back after he spoke to Hyundai. 30 minutes later no call, I called 3 more times and left a message with no call back. I went to another shop today to be told that he waaaaay under quoted me. The part itself is 1,200 not the 800 he said. So this explains why he wouldnt call me back. He ignored me and couldnt even simply call me back to say he messed up. If he simply could have called me and fixed the problem he could have still had my business.. But he was shady. Horrible customer service move and I wont be recommending them to others.

Shop location was hard to find, warehouse style set back from main road a bit.They were knoledgeable but offer rough customer service along with the cheap price.You must know what you want done and explain it to them before work is done and then test drive it and make sure it dont rattle or scrape the ground driving.Good deals on muffler work, welding, and converters.

Do yourself a favor and take your vehicle elsewhere. This is kinda sad since i was referred here by a really good smog guy and previously had a decent experience. This time i had two cats installed for roughly around $700. Was suppose to include having my exhaust cleaned up with new tubing. First i get my truck back and right away i could hear exhaust leaks. Get my truck home and look underneath... rather than using $2 a ft new piping, they just rewelded my old rusty pipes. Look a little further and my rear pass side 02 sensor is just hanging there completely out of the pipe still connected to the harness. I reinstalled the 02 sensor and still, exhaust leaks all over. At this point i had little money and was extremely frustrated and had no idea where to go. I found a small exhaust shop called AMC by elkhorn and watt. The guy Angel lifted the truck and showed me all of the holes in the horrible globbed on welds. He was nice enough to cut me a very cheap deal and redid all the welds very cleanly. He took the time to show me the quality of his work and was very professional and friendly. I will be going back to AMC next time i need any kind of exhaust work done. I wouldnt recommend anyone bringing their vehicle to afordable muffler unless they want to pay for a job twice because you absolutely will have to have it done again if you bring it here. The level of work was just completely unacceptable. As far as the staff go theyre reasonably friendly and professional. Hope this review helps save someone a headache and a hassle.

They went out of there way to get me the mufflers i needed for my car. They listened to what i wanted and how i wanted it.

Worst muffler shop around. Spent $300 on pipes and had to cut them off and go to a real muffler shop and do it over. They welded split-open pipe onto my muffler that you couldnt see until we cut them off. Horrible customer service as well.
