Ill go there with just an idea of what I need or want to build. With the huge selection of materials youre able to browse and look around and Im usually leaving with a better plan of what Im trying to do then before I got there. The staff has always been willing to listen and suggest ways of doing it you my not have thought of plus give you the pros and cons of doing it yourself. Ive never been disappointed by there prices. I love this place.

Checked out their metal inventory for a balcony railing project. They have the right materials I need. The store is organized and clean and staff were helpful and friendly. My metal guy will be buying the railing materials there. Glad I was able to stop by to physically see whats needed.

Theres practically everything youll need in regards to metal work, with a huge selection of everything from metal beams to sheet metal in varying dimensions and gages. Ive done several different projects at home and work, and theyve always had what Ive needed. From a complete rebuild of an enclosed utility trailer to dump truck metal repairs, theyve got it all. They load as well, with a will call out back. Friendly staff, but when theyre busy they can be known for their brevity, which is good.The only downside is their hours. Theyre tailored more for Industries (hence the name, obviously) or professionals, which is great if youre that type of customer, but not AS much for the DIYer or small business owner. Itd be nice to see their hours extended on Saturdays, to mid afternoon. Every time I come on Saturdays, its packed.

Huge selection......not just iron......they have aluminum parts and pieces brass, stainless, .......the largest ornamental iron selection that Ive seen any where in southern California........all very organized and high quality........service isnt the friendliest and more expensive than almost all other suppliers but better quality cost more money

This review is for the IMS in riverside all the material and prices are fair and in sometimes lower than the competitor.The best is when you need a foot of anything and you pay only what you need.But when comes to they ask for the phone number to call you back to pick up you material they not call happens to me 3 times in 3 months so heads up on this.Communication key of success.....

This review is for the IMS location in Riverside. The store has a large selection of metal, hardware, and tools; it is organized well; and the prices are reasonable. All of the women who work there are friendly and helpful. The tall bald guy has a big attitude and lacks people skills. Avoid him if you can.

Sales really doesnt care about customer. If sales people promise something they WILL NOT come thru, tell you what you want to hear to get you to shut up. Took three phone calls to get back ordered materials to - maybe - arrive tomorrow.

Ive been here twice. And both times I was here they were very helpful directed me to the type of metal I needed that I didnt even know that I needed and I found the perfect aluminum for manufacturing what I was working on. Very helpful
