Dylan, Cassandra and Rick (in parts, parts, and service) were all *mega* helpful in finding me a replacement tire in short notice and made a relatively short-notice appointment for me to install the tire. My timing put me in a bit of a bind, and these three really exercised some patience and kindness in helping me find my tire and get it mounted.Doing the new tire at Malcolm smith is important for me because of the warranty I purchased alongside my KTM; I couldn’t find anyone with my tire in stock that would also honor the warranty, so Malcolm Smith was my only choice. Hopefully by this time next week I’ll be rolling puncture-free.

I bought a new Ducati Panigale V4S from Josh Flores at Malcolm Smith Motorsports. The experience was an all-around pleasure, friendly and flawless. Josh took the time to educate me on the myriad of complexities within the bike, clearly knowing his stuff given he is an avid rider himself. He also helped me find the right helmet for the riding position, my head shape, and other picky preferences. Then to top it off, he personally delivered the Ducati to my home more than 1 hour away. Josh in Sales was professional, courteous, and delivered the motorcycle as promised. We travelled 600 miles one-way to do business with MSM and were not disappointed. When you are ready for a top-notch motorcycle buying experience, a modern well-stocked/large dealership with ample inventory, AND attentive service by the MSM staff (hard to find at many motorcycle dealers, believe me) try MSM. We plan to go back.

So long story short went in to buy a Harley from them had chip as my sales man great sales man very nice. Besides the point but I’m waiting on financing which I will be approved for just waiting and see one of the sales man/ porters with the bell off the Harley I got my things and left like I told them it is completely out of line for your employee to take something off a bike I’m buying weather it’s a $50 piece or more it doesn’t matter it was wrong so good luck to the company but my business will go else where. I also talked to the “owner” which I’m sure is some sort of store manager who tried to tell me we take personal items off bikes which isn’t true because my last gsxr 750 had personal chargers and a phone stand on it so good luck if you decide to go here watch your item carefully very disappointed in this type of company knowing I am personally a veteran to play a game like this

I just recently pitched a Yamaha YZ 450F 2021 from Malcom Smith. I had the pleasure of having Josh as my Sales representative, he was great friendly, honest, great technical knowledge of the Motercycles industry and keep he keeper me up to date kn everything going on with my purchase. I will be returning to Malcom Smith again and will insist on dealing with Josh again on my next purchase, can’t recommend him highly enough.

I had been looking for the 2021 Aprilia RS 660 for a couple weeks. I text Malcom Smith at the number on their website. Their manager Brian responded and said 3 had come in but werent assembled yet. I went down there 3 days later and Brian introduced himself and handed me over to Josh, my salesperson and took me to the back where the Aprilias were located. At that time they only had the Acid Gold color. I fell in love at first sight. I ended up purchasing the Acid Gold. From when I entered the store and until I left, Josh and the rest of the team at Malcom Smith were awesome. I am a new rider and they guided me through the process of not only buying the bike, but all the equipment I needed. Josh, went the extra mile, literally, by delivering my Aprilia to my home the next day himself. I will continue to use Malcom Smith for my motorcycle needs and I recommend anyone looking for a new bike to contact Josh.

Overpriced scammers presenting RIP OFF pricing for Honda NC750x, spoke with Scott, who then had Brian his boss call me. I proposed fair offer of MSRP plus Honda shipping fee plus, state sales tax and lawfull registration fees, but they insist on charging for AVERAGE DEALER MARKUP a subjective additional FEE not recommended by Honda Motor Corporation. I have bought multiple new bikes in past and no dealer has charged me for AVERAGE Dealer Markup scam fees. This experience is consistent with SanFranciscoRiderrs note about 1 year ago

Took my 2021 rs smart shox in yesterday for the 100 hour service and shock recalibration Melissa in the service department got me all hooked up even was able to have the x3 delivered back home which is an 1 hour and 30 minute distant that’s pretty epic service thank you again Melissa and thanks to the technician Bryce kiser for the great service work

Went in to check out some motorcycles, specifically the 2018 Honda CB 500X I saw on cycle trader as there was only one picture online. The picture doesnt do this motorcycle justice as it looks different in person. Lots of reviews online and on the Tube which made me want to go in and sit on this Honda. Aside from it lacking the 2019s upgrades this seems like a Swiss army knife for commuting, exploring fire roads, and a bit of comfort and refinement over the 300cc class. Milek was kind enough to show me this motorcycle and share his insights on the ownership of his Honda that uses the same engine. So overall a pleasant visit to see a vast selection of motorcycles without any pushy sales staff.

I stop by often at this dealership, I like the selection of bikes they have. Its kind of getting ideas for my next bike. This time around they had one I was interested in, used with only 5 miles on it. I had a price in mind and Josh Flores did an incredible job getting me this bike. I went there to order some engine parts for my shadow and was told they could not get any of my parts for me, not available. I went to chaparral,l they had most of my parts in stock and ordered the rest and had them for me within the week. So you can do the math!!!

I had my bike dropped off on 27 Feb 21 because my 2019 KTM 790 duke was cutting out and chopping on low speeds. So I took it in for warranty work and have been told multiple times it has been fixed. I have driven down to riverside 3 times from Twentynine Palms each time the bike was not fixed. Every single time it felt like they were just spitting in my face theoretically. It’s is 15 Apr 21 and still have no bike. Very disappointed with the service and do not recommend anyone going in for service.

I was told that the sales manager would speak to us in a few minutes, but he never came out. I wasted my time and the sales person kept insisting we buy the motorcycle 2000 dollars over listed price. Definitely never coming back.Originally gave 1 star, had to update in order to get things to post. From what it looks like, Malcolm Smith Motorsports pays to not allow 1 star ratings to appear on their rating system.

I got to see the Malcolm Museum today. Its upstairs and a pretty cool bit if history. So many classic bikes to check out. Their selection of riding gear was kinda small but they have a great selection of rides.

The employees do not abide by the mask policy and other CDC guidelines. They are either not wearing a mask, have it in their hand, or have it pulled down under their chin. They are also not social distancing. My bf and I were ready to buy a bike for him and he already knew which one he wanted, however we ended up leaving because no one checked up on us and we didnt feel safe.

After reading and researching the history of Malcolm Smith; its a shame that their policy for taking off 5 tiny exposed J.I.S. screws for me to access my air filters, is to charge 52 dollars. I understand capitalism and the way it works but it also seemed like Malcolm Smiths passion for motorcycles wouldnt lead the business to become about finding any excuse to over charge based on standard procedures. Other than that some Employees are awesome and extremely friendly so the two stars goes to them.

Im looking to get a Polaris RZR rs1 to upgrade to a safer vehicle from my Suzuki Quad. Sales people were very knowledgeable, very willing to answer my questions, non pushy, very experienced and very nice people. I would have gave five stars if the prices were a little cheaper. I havent actually bought yet cuz I need to figure out which hand controls and how they will be installed first, but due to customer service and a fair price, Im probably going with Malcolm Smith Motorsports

I ordered a motorcycle from these guys about two months ago. The inventory across the country was pretty thin and Id been shopping around for an experienced dealership. It also helped that Malcolm Smiths name would be on my license plate frame. I worked with Josh and some with a sales manager named Danny. Both were highly responsive and patient with my questions about the motorcycle, shipping times, and deposit (which was the fairest price deposit of all the dealers I called). Josh and Danny assured me that the bike would be here in late October, but I was somewhat skeptical because of all the stories about backorders and failed shipments I was seeing on social media. In the two months that I waited for my bike, Josh called me every single Friday to update me on shipment progress, and when the bike was two weeks away from shipping out he called me as soon as he found out. As it turned out the bike came in a week early and Josh called to let me know that he was putting on the priority build list. I went there a day later to pick the bike up and the exchange was hassle free. Then about a week later Josh called and told me they were going to give me a free Yoshimura exhaust system! Well that was the cherry on top. Thanks to Josh, Danny and all the folks at Malcolm Smith Motorsports for a great experience!

I first placed a deposit to order a RZR PRO back in August of 2020. After being promised on 3 dates of delivery and cancelations, not only was I disappointed because I never got the unit but also loss on trailer deposits, extra food spoiled and the explanation to the family Malcom Smith has undelivered. I asked why other folks are able to get their unit within 3 weeks of ordering? I advised to put a rush delivery as stated by others who have done this to receive their unit in a expedited manner. Melissa the sales rep asked for $2,000 more, I gave her that. She gave me a date and again, failed to deliver. I get an invoice of my unit they ordered the wrong one. They did nothing to take care of me or find me one. Lies after lies and unprofessionalism of promised call backs which I never got. I patiently waited to say something until now. Ive been the one trying to make this sale instead of them! Now, I was told they cant get a unit until next year. Unprofessional, all away around. I hate to do this but customers must know when dealing here theres a chance of this happening to them. Go to a bigger dealership where ordering products from their vendor is not an issue. They can blame Covid, ALL DEALERSHIPS in California are getting their units. I have proof. Sneaky lies and frustration is what your get from here. Try Coyne Motorsports if Im So Cal, try Concord Polaris if in Norther Cal, try Temecula if nearby you.

This place is not good if you’re looking for a deal. If you want to purchase from them it will be on their terms. When I questioned my salesman about the “ADM” (additional dealer markup) I was told that that wasn’t negotiable. There was a rebate from the manufacturer that was over $1000, and the taxes and fees were less that the rebate but the deal total came to more than $1000 over MSRP with the rebate rolled into the deal— very fuzzy math. I went elsewhere and made the purchase for nearly $2K less the next day.Do business on your terms as a customer and don’t waste your time here. They need to make a profit, but don’t let them make a killing at your expense.
