Mr. Jose has been working on my vehicles since around 2010. His prices are always fair and he stands by his work. My last interaction with him was a week ago when I picked up my mothers Chrysler 300. The vehicle stopped working and it appeared the transmission had gone out. I took it to the Chrysler dealer and they confirmed the transmission was bad. After having it replaced the car still was not shifting properly and the check engine light remained on giving back a code that there was a problem inside the transmission. Chrysler could not figure out what was wrong with it and pretty much left me stranded and feeling ripped off. I dropped the car off to Mr. Jose and told him to keep it as long as he needed to get it running correctly. Turned out there was nothing wrong with the transmission, it was the main computer for the vehicle which was going bad and sending incorrect codes. Mr. Jose figured it out and got the car back on the road for me. I no longer live in riverside near his shop but I will continue to make the drive if it means quality work.

I was in the process of changing my oil when I ran into some issues removing the filter. I called them up and they gave me a great price for finishing up the job. Hole in the wall kinda spot, great service, friendly.

This is a great place to get your car fixed, both Jose and Hugo know what they are doing and Jose has plenty of experience in older cars that some shops are not that great at. They are a no frills shop and as a result the prices are way more fair then the shops with all the luxury waiting rooms you end up paying for. They only fix what is needed with no hard sell for other services you dont really need . People that go there are return customers that value good price, good work and the fact that you dont end up with unnecessary services like other shops. You will get your moneys worth here in this no frills shop where you dont end up paying for things you dont need and you get it done right based on the in depth experience of Jose and Hugo is great as well.

Before I even arrived, I knew it was the alternator. I called ahead and they confirmed they would be able to handle the job on the same day. I showed up and they provided me the exact price I was expecting for the part, and a fair cost for the labor to replace the part. Im a young female and its not often that a mechanic doesnt take advantage of that. Ive learned a lot about my car because he explains what he does every time and Im never left wondering what and why i just paid all that money lol Hes even suggested I get a new car so I dont keep spending money on this one.
