Starting in January vehicle was taking in to dutton for a transmission shudder issue after 2 months the vehicle was repaired and back on the road for 2 days. At that point the transmission fell out because the transmission bolts werent installed or tightened. Vehicle was picked up and towed back to dutton where I was told that everything would be rechecked and if anything was damaged it would be replaced. The transmission was reinstalled. About a month later I was performing an oil changed and noticed bolts missing from exhaust manifold and damage to some lines under the vehicle from previous repair. Recently have been having a backfire from the exhaust and was told they could not replicate the problem despite test drive with manager where there was no repair order written up for vehicle and issue was verified by service manager Jerry Flores. I posted a negative Google review for the dealership and at that point the general manager David Crain who I had ask to talk to about the safety issues at hand reached out to my work place and talked to my manager because he wanted the previous google review taken down and work would before performed no charge. When I asked why he invaded my privacy and put my job at risk he replied if you dont like it take your vehicle to another dealership and hung up on me. If they are willing to put my job at risk and what is next? Where does it stop?

The Riverside Cadillac Dealership and Maintenance Department is a big business yet they are well staffed and keep their appointments and repairs on time. Easy to get updates and always have an estimate before work begins. I actually look forward to seeing the staff there. They are all so gracious and competent.

Just got a brand new 2021 GMC Sierra . Paid 50k for it off the lot thinking this truck is a great truck and will last me a while. Came back in for my first oil change and they told me I had a recall needing a whole new transmission? Are you serious? A brand new truck needing a new transmission that’s so unacceptable! Any car/truck with a new transmission will never be the same! I spoke to one of the managers and he just laughed at my frustration and said it is what it is! Terrible customer service and terrible truck! Only thing that would be right is if they returned my truck that’s brand new and give me another brand new truck that’s not a lemon! I will never purchase another GMC or let anyone I know get one, unless this is fixed immediately and I get a new truck that I paid for.

The worst service from any Cadillac dealership in Southern California called to order a simple radiator and the service, parts and cashier were acting like the task was really difficult ask to speak with a manager he’s not at his desk either smh trashy dealership to be Cadillac Don’t go here you’ll be disappointed

I have been a loyal Dutton customer for many years for both service and new car purchases of Cadillacs. The service advisors are great. They tend to stick around for a long time, a testament to Dutton being a good place to be. I find them to be very honest and informative, and do not try to upsell services until actually due or needed. Salesmen are also very professional and polite, and not pushy.
Let me get this straight !!! I take my Cadillac Escalade in for a recall, no fault of my own. I get it back fixed, but the hood had missing paint due to being power washed !!! No fault of my own. I then get told it would cost $400 to fix it because it is a 2007 with 200, miles !!! Oh and they would pay for half !!!. What??? Oh, so for the screw ups that were no fault of my own now is going to cost me $200 !!! ? How does that work ? Im retired on a fixed income, I worked hard to get this vehicle for retirement. I cant afford to just come up with money out of the blue for someone elses mistakes. No recommendation from me for sure 😡

I called the dealer a good 6 times and 2 out of 6 times somebody answered my call I was calling the sales department but that lady kept getting my calls because nobody was answering and the lady was trying to find somebody to help me I wanted to give them my business but if they can’t even answer a phone why should I give them my business this is pathetic! And I asked the lady that answered the phone do you have the 2021 Escalade and she told me “I’m in the office in the business” side CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE GIVE THIS LADY A INVENTORY BOOK !!

Had to wait over an hour and a half to get a ride home.Car wasn’t completely washed.Every time I go, I don’t feel like the reps care. It is a very cold environment. When I first bought the Escalade, great treatment. Now poor service. You can stand there 30 minutes before anyone even says hi and I’m talking about the reps not the helpers that drive you home or move the cars. They actually talk to me every time they go by.I bought a Cadillac for a reason. I get better attention at the Ford dealership for my son’s car. I can walk in any time and have what I need done. With Dutton I have to wait days and days. First and only Cadillac. Will now be switching to a Navigator.

This would be a zero if Google allowed.Avoid this dealer if you can. Dropped off my 12 Suburban for a brake job. When I dropped it off, they told me there was a driver who could take me home and I arrived prior to his reported start time. I waited 30 minutes for the driver without any information about his arrival. Someone else finally asked again and we were informed the driver was 45 minutes away so I Uberd home at my own expense.When I returned to pick up the Suburban, they couldnt find the car. After frantic searching, they found it entered as an 09 Tahoe. Lucky for me the brake part numbers are the same for the 2 vehicles. Time will tell I guess.I switched in my CT6 for a brake job (loud squeaking), falling sunroof headliner, and oil change. After a week and a day, the car was ready to go, except the brakes. This is the second time theyve had the car and the second time theyve told me they are fine. The service writer wont answer his phone and apparently he is the only one who can schedule a ride for me to return to pick up the car. Seems odd. Guess I will have to wait for my wife to give me a ride tomorrow to pick it up.Every step of this process has been unprofessional and not typical for service experiences Ive had. Across the street at Singh/Riverside Chevrolet, Steve has provided the highest quality and most professional service for years. Sadly I have to use Dutton for the Cadillac warranty work, but Im considering the trade-off to pay for the repairs and at least receive professional service.

The whole team was very professional and courteous throughout the sales and delivery process. They even delivered my car to me since I wasnt trading a vehicle in. Because I have owned a Luxury automobile for more than 30 years and I have something to compare to. My experience with Dutton was Okay at best. The day I arrived was a Monday and everyone who dont know should know Monday at the dealership is the busiest and to have only 2 personnel on duty simply did not make much sense. The double line went to the street and stayed that way for a good hour and half. When I got my car back, they said they detailed it but upon getting inside it did not seem like it was vacuumed at all. This was my fourth visit and the other 3 were pretty much the same. My wife has not liked her experience at Dutton, she in fact wanted to trade the car in and go back to Lexus, she said she missed the Lexus treatment.

DONT DO IT. I bought a CTS-V from them a few weeks ago. Drove up there and it took 4 hours to do the deal. The car was a GM buyback due to a cosmetic issue and within a week the transmission was shuddering and the car is useless. DO NOT BUY ONE OF THEIR AUCTION-PURCHASED BUYBACK CARS. The owner is a textbook used car salesman, just spewed lies at me where I just had to walk away. Ended up taking a huge hit on the car, all within three weeks.
I am updating my review. 1/21/19 - after speaking to Christy, I received a call from Steve - I took my car in to Dutton yesterday Christy and Steve were on it. I was able to get my car fixed and am happy with the outcome finally and looking forward to a fresh start with Dutton going forward.PREV-I purchased my vehicle on 12/26/19 - it had a piece that needed to be fixed and I was told at the time service would fix it no problem it was in the evening so they were closed. The next day I sent an email to follow up on scheduling when to take my car in - and was told after the first. So I sent an email later new years week and after sending pictures and back and forth for another week, it was agreed that I would take the car in 1/20 since I am off that day and they didnt have any Saturday appointments. Today is 1/17 my car started making a vibration noise so I asked if it would be better to take my car in today - now Im being told they would have to order the part but I have to take the car in for them to see which part it is (I sent pictures mind you, this is a Cadillac dealer, why they cant go look inside another Cadillac to see the part # and ordered it already idk) and so it was recommended that I take it to a dealer closer since theres a vibration and that the piece I needed fixed is covered under warranty. I live about 30-45 mins away and choose this dealer because they had the car I wanted and they were super at the time of purchase but now Im so frustrated - I waited all these weeks, wasted time and regret giving them my business if this is how complicated its going to be for service in the future just to be thrown to another dealer.

Among others, Cherie, George and Ricky went out of their way to handle a paint repair, replace a weather strip, and diagnose and replace a failed battery on my otherwise pristine CTS Cadillac. This involved separately the body shop and the service department, including two separate billings. It did not require me to drive from Yucaipa to handle these as the two separate contracts that they represented. Not only were they all quite cordial, the Dutton owners and managers would be pleased to know that they all had the attitude of, How may we best serve you?
The price I got, in writing, was not honored when I went in to buy the car. Then the car had 100 miles on it. Thats a used car! Pretty disappointed.

I was able to get a service appointment on the day I wanted and my service was complete in the time they said it would be.
It all started with the service coordinator (I always try to get Sanjae Encinas because he is terrific) who schedules your work and follows through with everyone to get it done. He arranged replacement transportation and my repairs wonderfully and met the schedule he initially gave me. My car was completed by your service department team and had the car ready with a nice washing to give the new car look. Great job everyone especially Sanjae.

Went into this dealership based off an Escalade they had listed online. I went in and was on the lot for over 15 mins before walking inside asking for assistance. Finally got a salesman, showed him the car, with financing in hand ready to go and all this guy could talk about was why wasn’t I going with GM Financial. I said I work for Chase auto and obviously wanted to go with them. Dude literally went on for 5 mins bashing Chase before I walked off the lot. HELLO, this was literally the EASIEST $92k sale you could of had!
Service was good. Shuttle service was good. Price was great.
Cadillac has always served us well. But unfortunately, the problem with the car was not resolved after it had been in Dutton Motors possession for over a week. It has started doing the same problem as before. Not sure what we will do now.
