I was doing some minor re-wiring on my HVAC unit but hadnt really done anything like it before. No store had the part I was looking for until I was directed to Grainger. They had the exact specialty part I was looking for and were extremely helpful in informing me how to use it. They even crimped the connector for me so I didnt have to buy the tools for a one time job. The customer service here blew away my expectations!

I used to love coming here but it cost way too much now a tube of stainless steel costs 30 bucks now. Thought gold would come out of the tube Instead.

First off I am and older person who has worked in about any field of a construction, marine,automotive job there is. So when I needed things and hard to get ones This is where I went first !! They were there when I needed them in 1965 my high school times, and yesterday I was there getting what I needed same great service. I wish the best for them, if they ever close I quit working. Due to the current covid-19 restrictions, there was a short wait time. The employees were courteous, efficient and worked within the social distancing guidelines.
I know of Grainger from school but never actually went out to location.Extremely knowledgeable employees. Went in on a pinch when the home A/C running capacitor went out . The employee was great by helping me test the capacitor to see if that was truly the problem. Unfortunately they did not have it in stock at that location or any other nearby.I really needed the A/C in the 100 degree weather but they were really helpful into redirecting me to another place. Definitely coming here again when need be.
Stood at the front of the Express Pckup line for 15 minutes and counting. I have been told someone will be right with about 10 times already. Poor customer service.
These fellows Supply Valvoline Instant Oil Change (corporate goofs) with the highest quality in crappy Chinese tools and supplys! We would be better off going to Harbor Freight because this stuff breaks all the time and we have to wait for them to ship us new stuff. Theres a Harbor Freight right down the street where I could get better quality and exchange it right away...... oh well I guess were keeping UPS busy ;-)
Theres a reason large businesses and universities have accounts with Grainger, but I had no idea they accept walk-in customers and extend their great products and discounts to everyone. Called for a part and had zero wait time on the phone, rep was knowledgable and courteous, located it locally and placed it on hold, even took my payment over the phone. Its rare to encounter many employees who are helpful, knowledgable and respectful but I was very surprised at their service and will be going back for more.
Their online inventory is bad as everyone elses. You call them and they claim to have the parts you need in stock. Yet once you take the time to drive down there they dont have what was guaranteed to be in. What a waste of time.
