If there was a spot for zeros stars I would put it! I bought a couple things here and there from this company after they cold called me from a local number! Sales guy talked a good game and high pressure. Every item I got was something I could of bought for a third of the price from a local store! After I hung up on the guy a couple times “because they call from a local never the same number” weeks later his “boss/owner” calls and begins to tell me I should Atleast have the common courtesy to tell them I’m not interested anymore! Try’s to tell me I’m in the wrong and he’s gotta run he has people that are actually paying customers calling! Mind you he called me! I’d throw money out the window before I gave it to this company!

Scam! These people harassed my husband into buying stuff he didn’t need because he is too nice to say no. Now they are calling me about reordering an item. Expensive and they are beyond aggressive with the selling. Stop being so aggressive. I had to block their number. Would not recommend.

We deal with Jake Richards and he has always treated us right. Awesome customer service, great people to communicate with. Deliveries are always speedy and the tools have been nothing but top quality for fair prices. Highly recommend them!

Scam, Scam, Scam. I cant imagine how the state doesnt shut them down. I was sent an order to try things out and a few things I was interested in. Then I read the reviews so I never open the box. When you send it back UNOPENED they lie and tell you its lighter in weight. I will spend every day for the rest of this month telling everybody what a scam company you are.

I was contacted by Big State, to introduce you to our company and products, we would like to send you out a pair of work gloves, safety glasses a catalog and some other trinkets. I said, I will give it a look. Oh, by the way, we have a really great set of drill bits, how about I send them out also? Try them out, if you do not like them send them back. Then I get the bill before the products. You only get the free stuff if you purchase a $200.00 drill bit set, that is worth only $49.00. Then the phone calls start. I had to speak to the customer Service manager to tell him about the bait and switch. Now I believe it is their common practice. If you look at the reviews, the only positive ones are from their employees, not the general public. Now they want to threaten me with action for them NOT living up to what was offered. Most likely a good idea to not do business with these folks. Better off to buy Harbor Freight than these guys. Less hassle, better quality, lower price - even if you have to buy the same product 5 times over.

I would just like to thank Big State for giving me the opportunity to better my life with a steady job that helps me take care of my family. With out them I dont know where I would be. I work for DUNNS EXCAVATING COMPANY and we have been working with these people and products for many years. They have very high quality products. We especially their high powered flash light. It only uses AA batteries with the power of a spot light. FANTASTIC.

Sales guy said he was going to send some sawzall blade but never received anything not even a tracking number. 2 months later they call and wanted to know how I liked the products. I responded that I never received the tracking number must less the products. They then said that I must contact ups to file a claim. I don’t even have a claim number I responded!! They then asked how I would like to pay for the items. What a joke this company is. The worst thing about them is they call every hour on the hour and we go through the same song and dance again. As soon as you here this name run like crazy.

What other rating could I give the Company that has given opportunities to so many people. In the 25 years Ive worked here Ive seen the owners hire young students that wanted to work as well as go to school . So theyve given hours that would allow it. Older people that needed a second (or third) chance to make a fresh start. Yours truly being one of the latter.They have rewarded loyalty by promoting from within.

My husband was contacted by this company. Very pushy sales people. Selling him 2 OVERPRICED first aid kits. When we received the products, we knew right away we could get a more complete first aid kit at our local office store. They wanted $160.07 for the kits. Definitely not worth it. We later received a threatening letter stating they were going to sue him. This place is a joke! HANG UP & save yourself the anguish!

We have purchased numerous times from this company. Roller covers, dust masks, drop clothes, etc. However, after revisiting the pricing, I decided to discontinue purchasing from them, as their prices are quite high compared to comparable products found in the box stores. Their customer service is very poor, as they cant seem to respond to emails, as requested, to mistaken shipments. They will send you unconfirmed purchases. And, they continue to call via numerous different phone numbers [which seems unprofessional for a business], when I have asked them to cease calling me [I have explicitly asked them to email a return label, and never call me again]. I dont recommend purchasing from them.

I have purchase many products from this company. I usually hang up on sales people. I would hate their job. They have to be pushy I guess to get their foot in the door, (so to speak) but I havent been disappointed with the products. Everything I have bought so far has been a better quality than I can purchase elsewhere. I have read the bad reviews, and I disagree with them. You want a quality product, weather it is drill bits or handy wipes, etc., use the product to decide. The drill bits are better than I get at Lowes, the handy wipes clean better than you will believe. I do wish they had a less pushy way to get me to buy their product. But it is quality.

Bought some supplies 1 year ago, have been absolutely harassed by the same salesman non stop. get calls monthly sometimes even more. I have asked to be removed from the list multiple times, I get calls from random numbers and block them every time. still get calls from the same person. no one answers when you call customer service.

This company is horrible!!!! I feel like I am in a nightmare. They called me a bunch of times to sell me some knife blades finally I said ok. Then invoiced me saying I received them but I never did. Then they said they got lost in the mail if I prepay the invoice they would send them to me. After I said no thanks I would rather not do business with them they threatened me if I don’t pay my credit would go bad. I will not be strong armed for money for things I never received. I am looking to see who I can call to turn these people in.

Not satisfied with this BSI at all! If I could give them no stars I would. A salesperson contacted me to sell me some air compressor hoses. He was very pushy and convinced me to let me send the hoses out. He assured me that I could send them back at any point at no cost or hassle to me. Well that was a lie! Not only did I find the same hoses for half of the price elsewhere but when I went to ship them back I had to pay $35 in shipping it back! I called to inquire about the shipping and another employee told me that it was my responsibility to pay for sending them back. Very frustrating and contradicting from what the original, very pushy salesperson told me in the beginning. Especially when I didnt want the product in the first place! Do not order from them! They are overpriced and dont hold up to their word!

Incredibly pushy, I placed an order and then had to cancel it. The sales manager who had called first when I placed the order, called after I cancelled and said that my cancellation affected him and that I had a responsibility to the company to follow they with my order... apparently even if I couldnt pay for it. He has called every day since, including on July 4th. I bought a drink bit set that was the best in the industry I bent 3 in one hour, went to my local hardware store, bought a Dewalt bit and finished my job without issue. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Today put me over the edge when the spoofed my home phone number and called me (my 11 year old was home sick and so I of course quickly answered the phone from my own home phone number). PROBLEM i have with this is they were using a Minnesota phone number so a person will answer. Our business received an unwanted sales call from this company today and after he wasted our time with irrelevant conversation the caller became very pushy and demanding...even using the F word to us. Im a truck driver and dont like to shop so i order while im on the road and when i get home the tools are there waiting so i can do what i need and yes they are over priced but after my divorce my credit was shot all to hell but as i pay stuff off the add good credit to my credit report so to me its more of a win win situation and i can honestly see doing business with big state for a long time mainly because i dont have to go to no store and deal with people when i live in a one horse town and the nearest place to buy tools is 2.5 hours one way

This company has horrible customer service. The sales person gave me a 90 day invoice. The company started calling and harrasing me. They said the sales person was wrong and they only give 30- 60 days. I sent the payment when I told them I would, yet they continued to call over and over. They wanted a check number, a confirmation number for online banking wasnt good enough. They said the sales reps work for numerous companies and do not represent just them. I told them that it was not my fault that they have poor internal communications and to stop harrassing me. They keep asking me to call my bank even though it has only been 9 days since the online payment was made. I told them I Would never purchase from them again, she said Thats fine, lol, they really do not care about their customers. Over $118, wow. They lost a lot of business from me.

I have purchased numerous products by a salesman calling me routinely, I found the products to be satisfactory and very expensive. The salesman was good and he made me feel sorry for him. On the last purchase I researched the pricing of a Journeymans 13 piece Bul-Mol holesaw kit, and found it to be $100.00 cheaper everywhere else(3 different stores). Upon the salesmans(Joe Filabin) next call I confronted him of this and he said it was not the same well it is. He did get irritated and used vulgar language to me and of course used it back to him and after that I told him I wanted to cease the business relationship, he would not comply and still tried to sell me things. (VERY OVER PRICED )

Over priced products. I just purchased a box of saftey glasses for my crew and when they arrived I saw they were not the quality I was use to. When I Googled the manufacture they were priced at 1.99 each. They sold them to me for almost 10.00 each.
