I love the location of this restaurant. I just visited this place and didnt order any food but the outdoor patio is so relaxing and great for lunch meetings. I will definitely go back and order food next time.

You may have passed this place a million times. This place deserves more recognition! Although this is not the usual 5 dollar flavourless sandwich I will say you get what you pay for!!! Walking in you are hit with an Aroma of spices and herbs of quality. Fresh deli meats, cheeses and fresh veggies. The crackle of the bread to the salty smoked meat you will not be disappointed. Down to earth humble hidden gem.

Four of us visited Marisas and we all loved it. The sandwich portions were generous and tasted great. My son and daughter have been going here for years and it is their favorite deli.

Food is good, but restaurant is not observing any health protocols. Not 1 employee wearing a mask, and even though they say “masks required”, there was not one other person besides myself wearing a mask. I hope I don’t sick from this place, don’t recommend!!

A nice and cozy place with an Italian flair, dishes and imported food items. The decoration is lovely and contributes to a peaceful environment while enjoying a coffee. A good place to have a lunch, meet with friends or do some studying/work. I personally love their cappuccino and salads. I just wish the staff was more attentive and welcoming. Therefore I give 4 and not 5 stars.

This is my favorite place in Riverside. I kept visiting this place at least once a week in the past two years, even during pandemic, because their food and staffs were awesome. They are doing a great job to protect customers from COVID. Mask are required and hand sanitizers are everywhere. Staffs are all super nice people, they even remember what I always order! Their food is also super delicious! Submarines are good for sure, and I also want to share that they have the best pomodoro and ice latte with no ice. I am leaving Riverside for months, I will miss this place so so so so much!

Came here for the first time and WOW!!!The deli is super cute and clean on the inside. The two gentleman at the counter were very helpful. Our food came out fast and was very delicious! The cashier charged me for Buffalo mozzarella on the sandwich but came out after serving us and said he had forgot. We scored free cookies to make up for the mistake! Would come back for sure!

Very disappointed as the last three times I’ve gone there they have been out of something so that they couldn’t make what I wanted to order. The first two times it was the loaves for the sandwiches and yesterday it was some ingredients for the antipasti salad! Seems like since COVID-19 this has been the norm. Have had many pleasant trips here in the past, hopefully things change soon.

Canollis are amazing. Sandwiches were delicious. Got a half sandwich & it was very big. Great prices. I will definitely be stopping by again. Very worth the 30 min drive for me .

They offer one of the best Italian sandwich in Riverside. It is conveniently located on the Canyon crest shopping center. They also have a patio area so you can eat at the location in the shade. Highly recommend them if you like Italian sandwiches.

Food is consistent and good. I stop and buy they salads to take home often because I love their flavors.

Lovely place. A good privately owned alternative to the Starbucks for coffee with a nice big patio. Great brekkie and lunch sandwiches for all tastes (meat and cheese or lots of fresh veggies... Good selection). Theyve also got a nice assortment of imported, mostly Italian sweets, foods, and deli cheeses and meats. In addition theyre taking great care during Covid to keep things safe. Masks, sanitizing pens, etc.

The best sandwich shop in the inland empire. Their sandwich the Tommy gun is the single greatest gift to humanity if you havent had Marissas youve never had a real sandwich.

This is such a great deli! They have excellent customer service! I placed a special delivery with them and they went above and beyond to complete my order. My entire family loved the charcuterie platter I purchased. Thank you so much for helping me out all the way from Fresno.

I have moved their sandwiches for a long time. They have a very good cold spaghetti type of salad too! Get the Yard Bird and have it toasted! Add some red pepper flakes and it is beautiful.

Honestly wanted to try this place because of all the good reviews but didn’t have the experience that many have. The guy that took my order looked like he didn’t want to be there and offered no help or even a greeting just stood there waiting for me to order. The sandwich was mediocre and heavily overpriced even if it did include the side. The one star is because I have to but was earned by the potato salad. Def won’t be coming back to this over priced and underwhelming deli. Could get a lot more friendlier service and better subs at My Hero subs down the street

OMG! I visited my brother while passing through, ordered lunch for the family and tasted the best breads, cheeses and deli meats that Ive had in a very, very long time. I will make this place a must stop every time I pass through on the 60 fwy.

I love the sandwiches here! So simple but makes a difference when you’re using quality ingredients. I was also extremely surprised by the cannolis! They were not pre filled which intrigued me right away, as many places unfortunately fill them first which inevitably turns the cannoli into a soggy mess. Welcomed with open hellos, make sure you ask for paper menu it has more then shown on the board behind the register. Chill vibes and family orientated place, fresh scents of Italy fill the whole place and its hard to resist the cannoli. I highly recommended this place.

This is a cute little sandwich shop in a beautiful shopping center I just love to visit. You can choose from so many options and have them customize any sandwich you want. Its so much better than going to something like Subway. (Which is coincidentally right nextdoor.) You can sit on stools, at tables, or even on the couch in the back of the restaurant. The atmosphere is calm and tranquil and youll definitely feel good after taking an extra long lunch to enjoy a place like this.

Delicious meatball sub, the staff and place are just very nice. One complaint is that you can expect to pay 10% - 20% more than other places for the quantity, but its far from out of line.

Let me start by saying I don’t like subs or sandwiches at all. This place completely changed that for me, my fiancé got me a chicken sub, the bread was soft, the vegetable were garden fresh. The seasoning was on point. Delicious!!!

We came in at 825 pm on Saturday 11/16 and the place looked closed. Chairs on top of the tables and they said the espresso machine was already shut down for the night. The owners should just change the hours to 830 pm, since their lazy staff doesn’t want to serve their customers after that time. We even tried to order wine but they didn’t even have 4 wine glasses. This place is a joke. Fake Italian deli. Disgrace. This business does not belong in Canyon Crest. Good thing there is a Starbucks and a wine bar in the same Centre. Don’t waste your time here.

I really cant think of a reason you may not like this quaint cafe/deli. There food has always been the choice I go with. They are right next to Subway. Yet I choose the little more expensive price of Marisas. The cookies they have delivered to their store from the neighborhood deli dont disappoint either. There is a Starbucks in the same shopping center. With about the same atmosphere, but I would choose Marisas to take a little alone time or meet a new friend any day. The customers are just as friendly as the staff, and Im hoping to go back tomorrow for the Cafe Breve. Try this coffee. Its made with LaVazza coffee. Its one of Italys best coffee. Super good quality with super good service. Thats my experience with Marisas Italian Deli. Ask for a Cafe Breve. You wont need sugar. Its the coffee youve been looking for. Live blessed and take care everyone. Think nice thoughts about yourself. You are worth it. I dont know you, but I love you. Maybe Ill see you at Marisas one day. Until then stay cool.

Locally owned sandwich shop. Very nice bread, good quality meats and cheeses. Better than the next door Subway, but not quite as good as others in town. Their stuffed red peppers are excellent. Good selection of olives. Some imported canned and dry goods. They will slice meat and cheese for you to buy.

The cannolis are exceptional! I bought cannolis here and at an Italian Bakery on Newport for a party. Guests were delighted with Marisa’s cannolis! The cream filling was fresh, and made with high quality ingredients. You need to pre-order. We really tasted the difference! Thank you Marisa!

I am a regular customer here. The food tastes pretty good. I like the fact that it is full service brunch place. I get my coffee, eat my sandwich and I can top it off with a delicious cannoli. Service is excellent, workers are super polite. Also it is good location to work. It is not crowded so you can really open your laptop and focus on work with a peace of mind. Overall, I like Marisas, 5/5.

Very high quality sub sandwiches at reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good quick sandwiche. They also carry great Italian sodas and fine desserts.

Excellent choices of sandwiches and meats. There is a lack of consistency as to who is making your food; sometimes they drown the sandwiches in dressing or put too little dressing making the sandwich dry. But the upside is the quality of the meats are excellent and the bread is baked fresh and its not that premade bread like cheap subway. Prices are bit high when it adds up but the atmosphere and upper middle class area make up for it. People here are very polite and the management is very accommodating and courteous.

The service here is attentive. bring your appetite because portions are filling. atmosphere is like a restaurant in fort worth i loved.
