I was charged $256 to fix a typewriter. Repair was good. I paid invoice. They cashed my check, but apparently did not record the payment. Then 8 months later Ken calls my office, and spoke to one of my secretaries, threatening collections, etc. for an unpaid invoice! (My secretary now thinks her boss does not pay his bills) Ken did some checking, and they found my payment check they cashed 8 months before. He did not record my payment made. Did he apologize? Nope. He blamed me for the error because my invoice number was not written on the payment check, so they could not post it to the proper bill due. He thought that since I have been in business for 32 years, I should have known this. I was upset that (1) common courtesy is you do not call staff on things like this, (2) poor record keeping, and (3) no apology for the mishap, or accepting responsibility. I was made to feel its all my fault. Poor customer relations!! I will not do business with them again.
