I love this store!! It is always so clean and stocked it’s everything when I need it. I love their home decor. They have some really great finds! I always use my teacher discount and there are no questions asked. The employees are so helpful and very willing to let you use any discounts/coupons. I am happy this is so close to my house.

I love this store. Its always clean and organized. But the last two times my discounts havent been added. Aggghhh. I should have ordered online. I suppose its my fault for not even checking until I was home and wondering why my purchase was more than I expected.

I was looking for some kind of project to keep me busy. I am not an arts and crafts person. I talked to one of the cashiers and told her my story. She was a great listener, very personable and gave me some great ideas. I walked out with a smile on my face and some items to begin calligraphy. It was a great experience!

This store is pretty good. Clean, easy to navigate and good layout. Employees are helpful, working and attentive. The only problem (and why it looses a star) is the selection is not particularly great. Several aisles are empty with new layouts taped up, most of the Christmas items are already gone with just a few damaged trees on clearance, and several items were out of stock despite the website indicating that plenty of inventory was available for pick up at this location.

Michaels is a fun place to shop especially when my Grandson is with me. Great selection of different craft items and picture frames. Store is always organized and clean and the employees are always very helpful and cordial.

I found what I needed and had 2 nice employees offer to help me find anything I might need and the cashier was cheerful and helpful.

This is the cleanest most organized Michaels I have ever been in. The employees are friendly. In some parts of the store the aisles are a bit of a tight squeeze. Great place to shop.

For those who love art and crafts, this is a store that continues to afford supplies and materials to further your studies as well as introduce you to many other mediums that you might endeavor to take up.

The store was really clean and the workers were doing an amazing job of helping everybody that walked in all the while being safe and social distancing, cleaning, etc.

Fun place to shop, great sales. Some Staff members either need to say they dont know, & get someone who does, or be more polite. Have had some very strange staff encounters.

They have everything you can ask for home decorations and more. I specifically went to buy embroidery floss and they had a lot of variety. Im giving it 4 stars because the thread I picked (they were at least 10 of different colors) were marked as .52 cents, but at the cash register they marked at .56 cents. I know its just 4 cents, but when you buy in bigger quantities it adds up. They were taking a lot of time to solve the issue so I just payed and left.

I made an online order and came here for free pick up. The pick up process was quick and painless and the customer service was great. The store is big and clean and looks awesome.

I went to the frame department to have a mat made. The gentlemen said it would be 2-3 days to get it cut, what!? I went to Hobby Lobby on 11681 S Pkwy Plaza Dr, South Jordan and the young lady there had the mat cut in 10 minutes. The lady at Hobby Lobby was also helping more people. 2 2-3 days for a simple job was just too long, when it comes to service, Michaels did not meet my needs. Go to Hobby Lobby if you need mats.

Went in looking for some parts to finish my daughters school project and found everything we needed quickly thanks to the knowledgeable help of an employee who noticed us looking and offered to help. Very good customer service.

Love Michaels! Appreciate a craft store that sells crafts only and doesnt have a religious agenda. I am more than happy to shop on Sunday while the lobby is closed so employees can worship as they please. Knock yourself out and sacrifice a goat in the parking lot . Michaels is hands down, the best craft store around .

I am usually a fan of Michales, however I was slightly disappointed on my last trip. My wife and I ordered online and went to the store to pick up. Granted we showed up before our confirmation email. However we explained we were out on the neighborhood and was curious if we could have our order. It was frustrating to see the 3 items we selected in a cart behind the cashier, but could not grab our paid for items because it had not been put through their system completely. The attendant told us that she had to process our transaction in the order it was received and that it would be a few more hours before they could check us out. We knew it wasn’t her fault but it was annoying to have our order 3 feet from us with no way to get our items. 10 minutes into our drive home we get a confirmation email that our online order is ready to be picked up lol. Fortunately we were able to turn right back around and get the things we ordered.

I love Michael’s they have good customer support. They have sweet deals. And they are friendly.

Well.... I guess Google maps is a tad off the mark on this one, cause its actually Famous Footwear that i went to. But, i dont wanna give Michaels a bad mark either, when I didnt go there. FF was a really nice store, the lady who helped me, was super nice, and they had the shoes that I wanted, and in the right sizes! Woo-hoo!

The employee that was called up to help us with a ladder was very rude and actually walked away in the middle of our conversation. I was very disappointed in the way that she spoke to me and treated me, considering I was confused about and item and was patiently looking for some solutions.However, Bentley (I think was her name?), the cashier that day was super friendly and helpful! She made the experience a lot better! Thats why this review has two stars, and not just one.

Nicely organized

Very helpful sales person in the framing department who answered my questions and insured I got what I wanted, even when that turned out to just be an off the shelf set of frames. I appreciate the time he spent in helping me, and that he didnt try to upsell me.

Im sure my husbands review would be quite different than mine considering how much time and money I have spent at Michaels since they opened right by my house! 😂 Anyway, every interaction Ive had here has been positive. Definitely get the app and join their loyalty program and you will never miss a sale or coupon. Ive consistently found high quality products at better prices than at competitors. I dont even bother going to other craft stores anymore. I dont want to name names but Michaels always has better prices on craft supplies than that place that rhymes with Bobby Wobby!

I would give you 5 stars if your aisles were wider. The whole store feels cramped, like you squeezed in an extra aisle each way. Your no hobby lobby, but convenience is king, so I will continue to patronize you.

Michaels offers a great variety of all kinds of artsy supplies. The store is large, well organized and stocked. However use caution on your returns. I bought 2 extra skanes of yarn by mistake( I thought I would need more than I did) instead of returning I wanted to trade the exact same yarn only a different color. The gal wouldnt allow me to trade straight across. I had to return both and rebuy and therefore had to pay more than what I bought them for ( I had a coupon for both) but didnt have that for the rebuy. Hind site I should have taken the money and gone elsewhere where they did have a coupon just for principal. A frustrating experience none the less and lesson learned.

Its a beautiful clean store with all of the crafting supplies I need.

I really appreciate the staff at the Riverton/Herriman location. They dont hover or bother you, yet are readily available if you do have questions. And they make sure to remind you of any sales or coupons that are active. I really like using Michaels verses Hobby Lobby. I found they tend to have more of a selection in items I need for my crafts, and their store has cute decor stuff, without being overwhelming, like Hobby Lobby. If you want the cute (overpriced) pre-made decor, go to Hobby Lobby. If you want items for your own crafts, craft storage, plus some pre-made decor, go to Michaels!
