Good store.This review is also a warning to the area. We have the kids on camera that broke into our car to steal groceries. Its fun to them but please parents do a better job with your kids. No excuses. This will only escalate into higher crimes. Maybe your kids do belong in the new jail? Ive lived in 10 different US states, and 3 different countries. Never once had my car broken into while in the drive way. (I was getting stuff out. I actually closed and locked the doors before I went in and was coming back out to get the rest. This is in sandy and theres been car theft in the area and other crimes. The neighbors know who the kids are. You are a scar on society. Its disgusting. Those groceries were paid for by my ebt card because Im disabled and cant work. But we all know kids like this wont be ashamed and think its funny. They act this way because the parents failed them) I lived in Johannesburg south Africa for a few months years ago doing volunteer work and never ever once was a victim of a crime. Im just shocked by this. They also stole part of Halloween costume too. Crime happened Thursday evening.This walmart has been alerted if the thieves try to return what they stole to get money they wont be allowed too.

Love this Walmart! The associates are so nice. I have a toddler and they always do things to appease him if they hear him crying! The pharmacy dept is exceptional.

I came in today around 230 to do a return with proof of purchase, and when the customer service associate finally came to service desk and asked me what I wanted, I said I had a return with the receipt she automatically told me Walmart does not do returns at there store, her name I did not get for no name tag, she told me go to Walmart to do the return! She has no customer service skills and seemed bothered by me asking to do a return! I used to shop there weekly not anymore thanks to great customer service

Have the inventory at the price we can definitely live with. It is a store that is located very near to us.

They didnt have what we were looking for and the ones we bought to substitute were terrible. Maybe other groceries were better.

The workers were friendly and helpful. I was trying to get customer service after hours, and a worker noticed me and quickly found someone to help me. Then that person patiently helped me, even though I could have handled it on my own using the app. Excellent service!

I bought some grapefruit that were at 98 cents each, the lady at the cash register charged me $1.28 and I told her of the mistake and she didnt say a thing. I went to the service desk and the lady there, Jodi I think, told me it was 98 cents per pound . I told her it is suppose to be each. She wouldnt even check and gave .31 cents back. I know its only cents but if I go and I am cents short I wouldnt be able to buy what I wanted. I told the lady thank you and she didnt acknowledge me. Awful!! Its the principle of the matter not so much the monetary value. And shes a store manager. I decided to return the grapefruits and she just said, I guess I will throw them away! Never visiting this place. I usually have a great experience here, very surprised.

This is one of my favorite go to places. Smaller than a normal Walmart. Makes for a quick trip. Has all the same items. Its clean and friendly.

This is a good grocery store.When I was growing up, we had a neighborhood grocery store that was friendly, well stocked, and had reasonable prices. While that neighborhood grocery store is now absurdly expensive, this neighborhood market feels like that store from my childhood. I can only hope that Walmart will continue building these locations.

Its walmart, if you want food its fine. But the staff works like theyre paid minimum wage. That and I saw an argument between employees. If they want to talk like that, they need to go to the back room where they wont bother the customers.

Easy in/out. Employees are in tune when lines get long. They were out of Diet Mtn Dew so only 4 stars.

This is a clean and well managed store. The employees are courteous and helpful. The self check out ran smoothly. I only gave it 4 stars because it’s a Walmart. However my Son and I went to 3 other stores that did not have the item we were looking for.

Pretty terrible shopping experience during COVID. Mainly the older employee chatting with some d- bag with a goaty who decided not to bother wearing a mask. The two were right in front of the checkout lines. Its bad enough people cant be bothered to follow which way to go down the ilse. Will probably start going out of my way to shop at larger stores when I need more than a couple things, as Im sick of dealing with this one.

I would like to give a shout out to the management of the store. I am so impressed with the organization and the cleanliness of this Walmart in particularly. The shelves are well stocked, the staff was helpful, Friendly and most of all existent. I think Walmart needs to step back and look at its other stores in comparison to this one. I have shopped at many Walmarts and I have yet to have a pleasant experience like I had in this Riverton 1300 W. store.Thank you for Exceeding my expectations Riverton Walmart. I will drive out of my way, past three Walmart stores in 2 in South Jordan, one in Riverton to shop at your store from now on.Only one suggestion, I tried to call to personally talk to and credit the manager as soon as I left the store and I was left on hold for over 15 minutes. So I finally hung up and decided to write this review.

This store is awesome. The location is so convenient and the staff are so friendly. Every one Ive encountered has gone out of their way to day hi and help when needed. I love that it is so small but fully stocked with all the basics making it so easy to get in and out fast with what I came for. Theyve never not had something that Ive needed and the shelves are always stocked. Great produce too. I do most of my grocery shopping here because its so convenient.

The self checkout is a joke. I seen workers standing around and when you need assistance they just look at you like your some kind of plague. Do your job!!

High quality Walmart market. I think this is the best one Ive been to. Its a little hidden, but worth it when you find it.

I actually like this Walmart and this place saved my relationship with the company. I like the smaller lines and the smaller size of the store. However, last night, the store was a little busy and not a single checkout was open. Only self checkout-this is not ok. For a few quick items, this can work. I still believe in assisted check out. Don’t push me away, neighborhood market!

Such an awesome little store. Always a great parking spot, always an open checkout lane or self check out. Its clean its nice, has basically everything you could need from regular Walmart! Plus its right by my house so huge plus!!!

Literally had workers chasing us down to tell us theyd found the product we were looking for. They were so nice. Its clean and has lots of self check out lanes. Entrance is only through 1300 or West bound 12600, so that can be tricky.

Very convenient location and never super busy, we always find what we need and the store is very clean and has friendly workers.

Walmart is good, its close to home and the people are always helpful.

I have taken to shopping here during covid bc there are very few people that shop here. Its never busy. Staff are masked and store feels clean. So much better than the super centers

Everyone was friendly. The store was clean and had a good selection. I didnt mark it 5 stars because it was difficult to locate 2 items, even after checking most aisles. I asked someone for assistant and they were helpful.

Its small, but for what its worth... Its fun! Great place to grab some snacks before a game or just hanging with friends. Also very nice pharmacy. The other good thing is that its never overcrowded. Great place!

Love this Walmart, go there all the time. Great place to pickup groceries. It is a grocery only place so if you are looking for electronic plugs or headphones, things like that, you will not find them. I use the pharmacy all the time and everyone is very friendly. It has self checkout, great sales in the bakery/deli often and although it is small for a Walmart its a nice place to stop if you live nearby or just need to grab some groceries.

They have basic essentials and a pharmacy!

This is a food market only! They have good selection and prices. I use to go there and grab a sandwich or wrap from the deli for lunch. Friendly service. Not usually too many people around noon.

Today I came for a prescription. (It was filled super fast and easy less expensive than Id planned on which was a great surprise since I wasnt feeling well. While I was waiting I looked for batteries that Ive been wanting along time. Marsha, a Walmart employee, helped me look and couldnt find them so she ordered them in for me😁 YOU ROCK MARSHA!!!!!!!!!!!NOW THATS SERVICE!!!!!!!

I love this Walmart. There is enough people working, and its quick to get in and out.I was trying to pick up a package that had been canceled (an online order I had done, but waited too long to pick up). The package had been marked to be returned and my money had been refunded. Crystal and Clair tracked down my package, and were able to let me purchase it regardless so I didnt have to reorder it. They are awesome! Thanks Clair and Crystal!

I like going there because its faster and im not tempted to buy things I dont need. However, the cashiers in thr morning love to visit and I mean they talk to me and the other cashiers say too much. They have to comment on everything I buy. I usually busy use the self checkout. Very clean and well stocked though!

Love that we have another option to go to Walmart. There are two Walmarts about equal distance from my home, and this one is smaller, less busy. I just like the environment better here, but they arent a super Walmart so dont go expecting to find clothes or household items. Good for groceries.

Some of the people that work there act like your inconveniencing them by asking them questions and when you go to their checkout register. Absolutely not my favorite place to go at all. :(

I love the pharmacy! The drive-up is convenient, the pharmacist is good and the pharm tech, Aimee, is just great! Caring, efficient, friendly. Glad to have it in our neighborhood. Now if we could just have a gate and pathway to the condos for seniors who cant drive anymore.

I’ve gotten to know a lot of the employees at this store, and they really make it worth shopping here. Art, Vera, Ethan, Deja, Linda, and Maria in produce. These people are fantastic!!! It is so nice to see friends every time I shop. In addition to the great employees, this location also has a pretty good selection of specialty items, especially gluten-free and more “specialty health food store” related products.Also, this location sells more than just food. They carry a full range of cleaning supplies, cosmetics, toiletries, medicines, pet food, greeting cards, and even some office and school supplies, seasonal decorations, plants, movies, small kitchen appliances, and household goods such as lightbulbs, furnace filters, candles, towels, etc.

This store was clean and organized with great A/Can going on a really hot day. It was not crowded and I got in and out quickly! I wish all my Walmart encounters were this wonderful.

This is a clean store with good customer service. Its convenient for fast grocery shopping. But it only has edible goods. Its groceries.

Did I just get racially profiled by two members of your staff?!?!Just a hangry observation. There was three or four self-checkouts and there were two employees standing, chatting, and watching my purchase. “Like really watching it” From my point of view way more than they were watching the other two or three Caucasian customers. I was struggling with an item and was helped with it, but it just seemed odd. My bad decision for going to this location.

I was the only customer waiting for a prescription at the pharmacy and they spent 20min counting pills while I waited for them to give me the pre packaged bottle of medication I was there for. No counting necessarily. They need some help with priorities

I love how much friendlier the staff is here. My favorite Wal-Mart. A lot of their staff are teenagers but they have wonderful people skills and are very helpful. They make eye contact and are welcoming as where Wal-Marts their employees seem to hate their life and take it out on you.I get all of my groceries here

Im hesitant to let this secret out but this is my favorite grocery store. Good prices of course and the clearance is excellent. The only thing I havent figured out is their stocking day, if you show up before their new shipments come in the shelves are kind of sparse which is a bummer when youre in a hurry and theyre out of what you need. Thankfully its not often but has happened a couple times.

Tiny and efficient. I call in often to ask if they carry a particular item, in case I can skip the large Walmart, and they are always well educated about their stores stock and quick to help.

I am not the biggest fan of shopping at Walmart. This neighborhood store is convenient for quick items that you need. The produce doesnt always seem to be the best or should I say the lack of produce. We have moved the families prescriptions to this location because the competitive pricing, drive thru and open on Sunday.

This is one of the cleanest Walmarts I have visited. The staff seemed friendly enough. It is enough out of the way that it wasnt very busy. They have good prices and good layout of the store.

This is the best place to go. Lance and Joe are the best. All the pharmacists and the other in training great you great.

It is refreshing shopping at a less busy Walmart. The store is small enough to quickly find what you need and the food selection is great.
