This place has been amazing to work with and the owners and instructors are always so helpful. I have done my open water and advanced certifications with Greg who has been a great instructor. Honestly this is one business where I can say that I have felt like family going in there. I look forward to doing more certifications and trips through them. If you’re even considering a scuba certification, give them a try.

We just finished our open water certification with Ivan and he was beyond fantastic! So patient, accommodating, and just an excellent teacher! You could tell how passionate he was about Scuba and sharing that with others! The store and pool were very nice, and the equipment you use was in great shape. All around fantastic experience. We’re very excited to start exploring underwater, thanks Ivan!

The Scuba Dive is a fantastic dive shop. They helped me confidently leap right back into diving after a little bit of time off from it.They have a nice pool to test out gear and practice in before buying or heading out on a trip.Their rental gear is good, and the owners/staff/instructions are all passionate, knowledgeable, helpful, and delightful to work with.Im so happy to have this dive shop in our area!

It was a delightful, exciting journey to learn scuba diving here. My instructor Ivan is the best teacher I’ve ever had! He’s patient, thoughtful, knowledgeable and passionate. He was always willing to offer any help he could, from teaching me float since I only knew little about swimming, to helping me pick my gears after hours. As long as you want to learn scuba diving, this is a perfect place to go. They’ll take care of everything else.

Everything about my SCUBA certification training at The SCUBA Dive was exceptional. When I first went to inquire about classes I met Eric who was genuinely excited to welcome me, answer all my questions, and get me signed up. The facility and equipment were top notch, everything was always clean and organized and the equipment in perfect working condition. Greg was my instructor, he is very knowledgeable and patient and has excellent communication and demonstration skills. I became ill partway through my classes and they worked with me to continue at a later date with another class.The thing I was most impressed about was the feeling that Eric was more excited about someone learning to SCUBA dive than he was about getting a paying client. And all throughout the training it was obvious that Greg had a genuine desire to make sure we left his class as knowledgeable and skillful as needed to be successful and safe SCUBA divers rather than just rushing us thru to put a few more marks on his belt and get a paycheck.A huge thanks to everyone at The SCUBA Dive !!

My husband and I recent did a Try Diving class. 10/10 I would recommend this! I have always been a little hesitant when I come to water but our instructor (Ivan) was so patient and helpful. The owners are incredibly nice. If you are even considering trying it out I say DO IT!!

I got my Open Water cert with The Scuba Dive. My instructor, Ivan, was really great. I felt comfortable going on a dive trip to Mexico soon after getting my certification with him.The Scuba Dive has a great pool and great gear to rent, as well.Everyone at The Scuba Dive is really friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

My wife and I took the scuba certification class here for Open Water and it was a great experience! My wife was much more nervous about scuba in general and our instructor, Scott Whitney, was very patient and spent extra time with us to make sure we were comfortable and that we were able to proficiently perform the skills we were taught. Scott has a very calm, professional, and fun method of teaching.We did the semi-private lessons which is a little more expensive than the group lessons (just under $1K total for both of us) which seems to be a standard rate. When choosing a certification program the instructor is more important than the shop. We were able to meet a couple of the instructors (including Scott), we will definitely come back to the Dive Shop for our advanced lessons in the future. The dive shop employs great instructors.The shop itself is good but expensive. The high prices are because they only sell high-end equipment, not because they are over-priced. We price checked the exact same brand names on Amazon and the prices were the same. You can, for example, get a much cheaper Dive Watch on Amazon for $250, but you get what you pay for!This place is great, go get certified here!!!

Great shop with knowledgable and friendly staff and owners. We went to get updated equipment for family members and I decided to get signed up for open water certification. They were able to help me select great gear for a good discount since I was enrolled on a course. The course instructor was really helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend going here for any scuba needs. I really like that they have a local dive schedule too so you can still dive without needing to book a big trip..Thanks Eric and Ivan! This place is awesome for getting scuba certified! First I did one of their “try dive” classes for only $25 just to see if I could even handle it and then I took the certification course. They give discounts to students on all the their equipment and will even exchange it if it doesn’t work for you. My instructor, Ivan Hartle was very knowledgeable, encouraging and patient. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to certify!

We did a private class of 8 people with Eric as our instructor. What an amazing experience! Eric is not only a great instructor, but also fun, entertaining and is great at helping you build confidence in your ability to be safe and have fun at the same time. If you ever wanted to learn to scuba dive don’t wait! Even if you are the least bit apprehensive let these guys show you that everyone can learn to dive!

Just did Try Scuba class. First time doing anything scuba. Took the hole family of 2 teenagers and 3 adults. Had a great experience. Very clean place, friendly and knowledgeable instuctors.I look forward to getting my certification here. Thank you The Scuba Dive, You guys are great!!

The staff is patient, friendly and knowledgeable. Eric and Ivan are wonderful instructors and help you with any issue you are having . The price is extremely reasonable considering your online course is Included. I would recommend them 100 percent!

I wish I could give this place more stars. The facility is top notch, the management is kind, and extremely helpful. Our instructor Ivan, went above and beyond to help make our experience so much fun. I couldnt recommend this place enough!

2 reviews;1: The shop / dive facility. This place is awesome. The coolest pool I have seen so far. 3 feet on one end, 4 on the other and the middle is a 14 foot large section drop. Hot showers, lockers, extremely clean facility and bathrooms. Staff has always been smiling and super friendly and helpful. Prices? they are actually similar if not cheaper then some other stores with the same product. Purchased a Shearwater Peregrine for $450. Dive Utah has it for $495. This place carries good named brand items and quality gear cost a bit more. So yes, options might look $$ compared some other stores. But when it comes to my comfort and safety under water, you dont want to mess around. Buy good equipment. Prices for classes are also on par with most dive centers. They also got me prescription lenses for my mask in less then a week!2: Instructor. My instructor was Ivan Hartle with the assistance of Hanna. Let me tell you, Ivan is an amazing instructor. Very knowledgeable and great patience. I did not feel lost in any of the drills. He explained things multiple times with multiple examples above and under water. He will work with you even if he has to stay past the class. Took good care of us in the open dives at the Crater. Brought us extra water and made sure we where all dialed in and ready. I will definitely look forward to any other classes he teaches! Hanna is also a great teacher who kept an eye us at all times. It was nice to know I had 2 people looking after us while I practiced my skills.

These guys are awesome! It is a family ran business and they are extremely friendly! I did a group open water class with 8 people here. Our instructors, Eric and Ivan, were amazing from beginning to end, and were super understanding and helpful with everything. Could not recommend them enough.

This place is awesome! Ive always wanted to try scuba diving and possibly get certified to go diving off the coasts of Hawaii, Brazil and Australia. I tried their monthly intro to dive course with my husband and we loved it. Instructors (who are also the owners) were very kind, entertaining and supportive as they taught us some of the basics getting us ready for a 30 minute long dive in the deep end of their pool. It was great!

My girlfriend and I had a trip to Cozumel coming up in March and I wanted to get certified to dive with her on this trip, was fairly nervous about the new experience, but we had some of the best instructors you could ask for. Both Greg and Nick were amazing instructors who were very patient and extremely helpful. We always felt safe under the water and are now very confident for our week of diving. We will be coming back to do our advanced course and probably a few other certifications through these two instructors. Highly recommend them for anybody interested in scuba diving.

Very difficult working with this location. Trying to get equipment serviced here was steeped in regulation. We had to go to another dive shop in Draper which was much more accommodating. Try Dive Addicts rather than this location!

Went through the Scuba Dive for my open water certification and Greg Dockstader was an exceptional instructor. I’ve learned a lot through their PADI program (they offer many) this helped me build confidence under water and how to manage various problems that may occur. This was great experience that I would recommend to everyone!After looking for the right open water certification online the one thing that was emphasized the most is that…“you’re not shopping for an brand or agency you’re shopping for an instructor.” I was comforted with The Scuba Dive’s professionalism and amazing costumer service. Greg was very receptive and dynamic in the way he teaches catering to ones own need to retain information.Every time I went in to the shop I had someone eager to help whether it was answering any questions I had about diving, picking out the right gear for me, and making adjustments. Every one I met at The Scuba Dive was extremely helpful and were very supportive. It was an amazing experience that I hope many get to experience.

I don’t just give out 5 stars unless it’s well deserved, but it is totally deserved for The Scuba Dive. The shop, pool, and staff are top notch. I took a sidemount course with the Whitney’s, and they are two wonderful instructors. I have to say, I love the pool there, it’s built for scuba training.

Eric and the crew are awesome! Very knowledgeable with excellent customer service and fair pricing. Rental equipment is much better quality than most shops and is in great shape Facility is top notch, and specifically designed for learning and perfecting skills! So happy we found this place. Highly recommend!

What can I say? They fit us in for a private intro course last minute. We had a great time and learned so much! But our instructor Greg worked a lot with my wife to make her so comfortable and help her get over her hesitations. A great easy going ZERO pressure approach. Cant wait to start our open water course!

You need to try BogaFit!! What a fun workout!! The class was challenging and enjoyable. The staff was extremely friendly. The facility is beautiful! I loved that it was a different workout then anywhere else. You have to try it!!!

Fantastic experience! The instructors were amazing and super fun!

Brought my hubby and daughter for an intro lesson. My husband loved it, my daughter got nervous and didnt want to go into the deep end. The instructore handled it really well and she still had a good time without completely submerging. Highly recommend, especially for kids who are curious about diving.

We are very excited to have a dive shop right here in Riverton, just down the road and around the corner from our house. The Scuba Dive is amazing and the owners have been fantastic. With our family having been certified for just over a year now, weve appreciated the knowledge and experience provided as weve stopped in multiple times to visit. Weve received advice about sizing gear and about which gear would work best for a particular application. Once at the dive site and in the water, weve found all the advice and gear to be spot on. We even got a few tanks to take home for the weekend to practice assembly/disassembly and buddy checks before a night dive certification, which helped us be much more efficient and confident. It was very nice to just have to drive around the corner instead of across town or into the next county to get to a great dive shop.

My son and I just got certified! The Scuba Dive was such a great place to learn and Eric was a fantastic instructor. I highly recommend.
