Ive been going to the Roanoke Rapids, NC location for several years now for maintenance and safety inspections and while I’m very much a “creature of habit”, Ive never experienced anything even relatively close to the nightmares I have heard about other places in town. George and Pam have always treated me very well! They are very helpful, informative, respectful and polite to everyone who walks in the door. The techs always treat my car well and I really appreciate their care and attention to detail. I love the team at Mr. Tire and as long as customer service remains the first priority, I will remain a loyal customer :)

Great people, great work. Take your business here because they are the best! transparent, fast, trustworthy service. the staff is impeccable and I really cant say enough good things about them. Our car had some problems on a road trip down the east coast and we happened to stumble upon this place and we couldnt be more thankful. They took us right in, no appointment! Staff really made the experience, they deserve the world. Treated us like family, explained what they were doing, gave us different scenarios, and made sure we were all set. Would stop here for all my mechanical needs if only I lived in this area. Fair prices, fast, honest work. What more could anyone ask for?

This place is the very best spot to get tire work done EVER! We were on a road trip and needed some quick walkin service work for our tires, and we thought we needed an alignment. They checked us out and figured out we had a broken tire belt and they even had our tire in stock! So grateful for them and their incredible service! THANK YOU so much! We highly recommend!!!

On my way to Florida and was experiencing car problems. Called Mr Tire and they were able to take me in right away. Very courteous and helpful. Very reasonable and they had me back on the highway in no time!

The employees of this Mr Tire in Roanoke Rapids were some of the nicest and CARING people I have ever met. They helped me in a very stressful situation, they truly showed me how much they care for their customers. They spent a great amount of time to explain and show me what my car needed. If I could give this place negative reviews, I would. They refused to honor their Mr. Tire Roadside Assistant warranty. They couldnt be bothered to do more than glance at the tire and lie to us about wear. We ended up taking the same tire to the Mr.Tire in Rocky Mount and they immediately (measured rather than b.s. eyeball the tread) upheld the warranty and were incredibly nice. We will not be going back to the Roanoke Rapids location.

These guys were super accommodating… helped me in a pinch after blowing 2 tires today! Couldn’t thank them any more! Pam was amazing from the first phone call to the last minute!

Knowledgeable, caring, helpful. We had an emergency halfway home from the beach. Went to two places that couldnt help (almost 5 on a Saturday) and got a recommendation to go to Mr. Tire. George and the mechanic on duty were super patient and helpful. They gave me more information than my local mechanic and got me and my kids safely home. Cant recommend them enough.

Had a trip from NC to MA and had a puncture that was letting all the good air out of the tire. Ended up stopping by to see if they could get it sorted for me and it was no problem at all.George is the man and handled everything in stride and good spirit. Honestly cant thank him or the team enough for saving the day on this one. If it involves tires, bring it on down theyll get it done for ya.

New to the area and was panicking about locating a reputable shop that could get me in quickly. I use my car for work so getting a nail stuck in my rear tire was a major headache. Called Mr.Tire this morning and within a hour...Im back on the road again!I went because the price was very reasonable; Ill be returning because the professionalism and courteous employees that work there made my wait worthwhile. Never would think a visit to a mechanic would be enjoyable; but I like the vibes here!! Pretty awesome

Fast and Friendly! I made an appointment early in the week for a Saturday. I had to push the time back and George was very accommodating. Everyone was very friendly and efficient. They got me in and out extremely quickly!! Very positive experience overall.

Even though they found the rare size tire for me, I felt like the added fee after the work was done was bait and switchish. Tell me up front what your fees are, then I will decide.Hopefully I will not need their service again. But the people are friendly and the work was performed efficiently.

They tell you the highest priced oil change & I knew they had more then one package. They false advertise because they say the oil change is this price then when its time for service here comes disposal fees and labor costs to put the oil in. That should be 1 price for every thing like other shops charge for a basic oil change. I got this oil change because I was out of town but from now on Ill change the oil myself for $25 compared to & $78.99 at Mr. Tire. Too expensive for a oil change.

First time visiting here and I fell in love. Energy here is extremely welcoming and what I appreciate most is the honesty here. These mechanics are the truth!! I saved money which is definitely important lol. I live in MD, however, the work I’ll need in the future, I’m coming here. Only trusting this crew.

Not only do Pam and George provide great customer service, but they explain everything that needs to be completed and they actually SHOW you! It’s the transparency for me. The online info says you have to make an appointment, I called at 5:45 and they said be here before 5:15! I arrived at 5:55💨 The manager is always very nice, I waited about ten minutes before my car was pulled in for service. I watched while it was serviced.. Everyone was masked, I was the only person in the waiting room. And the price was right! Im ALWAYS SATISFIED HERE!🚙💯%

Went on Monday to get tires. As I had to make an appointment, I didnt have to wait very long. George explained what was needed and the benefits of the tire package. He wasnt pushy, he just suggested the benefits. I drove away one satisfied lady. I have already recommended them to my friends. Thank you George and Pam for such great customer service!

Went to 4 gas station to put air in tires because check air pressure light came on all air pumps were damaged that I went to. Went to Mr. Tire and figured I would get tires rotated as well since I had not done it in about 12k miles. They did not put air in the tires said they all had like 50ish psi in them. 32 psi was actually in most of them. Meaning they didnt do the main thing I came in for and I waited like 2 hours.

The customer service was average, but I will NEVER return. They charged $140 for ONE tire. The itemized break-down says the tire itself was only $60 with a service charge of $29.99. There were about 7 other expense items!! Sales and state tax is understandable, but ‘road hazard coverage’ being 14.99?? I was charged twice for a ‘TPMS KIT’ at 7.99 each adding an additional 15.98 to the bill! Afterwards, I went to a couple of auto centers in the area and every quote came out below $90/tire. Lesson learned: Shop around town first.

Excellent service! I scheduled an appointment with a competitor right up the road just to get there and they not have the tire in stock. Came here and they fit me right in.

Had a blowout on my trailer tire about 4:50 pm. Every place I called would not be able to get to me till the next day since they all closed at 5. Called Mr Tire and they said they had 2 tires for my trailer and could get me fixed up. I was back on my way before 6pm. Great people who really saved the day.

It was ok. I went in to have my breaks done. The guy told me i didnt need brakes. So he didnt get over on me. Instead he suggested i needed to change my brake caliper before it starts sticking but it will cost 500.for the fron both sides. So i cant get it done right now. But i appreciate the men for not getting over on me.

Firestone denied me and my grandmother service, Because of the vehicle that we were driving is a rental vehicle I was denied service and I was denied the opportunity of paying for my own tires when Mr. Tire gladly repaired my tires without any excuses and without any disrespectfulness. If it wasnt for Mr. Tire and miss Pam I would have been stranded a little over 580 miles away from home with my grandmother, I highly recommend Mr. Tire And I hope noone goes to firestone tires regardless of location in the country

I am extremely pleased with the work performed by Mr. Tire in Roanoke Rapids, and the HONESTY and courteousness exhibited by their staff. My check engine light came on in my 13 year old SUV. I took it in for them to evaluate and give me an estimate on whatever needed to be fixed. Within two hours of dropping my car off, I received a call from Josiah in their service area indicating that the problem was my MASS AIR FLOW sensor. He was able to clean it off and get it working again, and my car was ready. I expected that it would take a couple of days to diagnose & repair the issue, so this was a wonderful surprise. Since the car is 13 years old, I decided to have that sensor replaced as a precautionary measure, and also have some additional maintenance performed as the car is nearing 100K miles. I additionally had the serpentine and A/C belts replaced. My car was ready to pick up the next morning. I requested that they perform the additional repairs as a result of their HONESTY with the sensor. The repairs were very reasonably priced. A car repair shop that doesnt try to rip you off or gauge you right out of the gate is indeed a rare find!! I will be bringing my car there for all my maintenance and repair needs in the future!!

Me. Tire came through on the clutch!! I got a flat tire out on I-95 on my way back home to Florida and even though they couldn’t fix it they were able to find me a tire to get me back on my way! Extremely courteous and they worked quickly I was back on the road after about 30 minutes. I will definitely come back here should I ever need it!!

My husband and I were on our honeymoon and got a flat tire on I-95. We called Mr. Tire from the roadside and they had exactly what we needed. The great folks at this tire shop got us in that day and had the work done in about 20 minutes. Prices were fair and comparable to Walmart but with far superior service. Would absolutely recommend Mr. Tire!

Service was friendly & smooth. Also, very informative. I took my car in at 10am & out by 12:00pm. I bought 4 new tires, oil change, scheduled maintenance & alingment.. I can say my first time to Mr. Tire was in my hometown(NJ). Both locations Worthy of 5 stars

I have been using Mr. Tire for the past 2 years and have nothing negative to say. They do an awesome job keeping my vehicle maintenance up to date without pressuring me to do unneeded work. Pam at the front desk is awesome! Always willing to go above and beyond to help me find the most affordable pricing. Josiah was very thorough in checking out my car. Will continue to use as long as I live in RR.

The best repair shop in the USA, hands down!!Both the attending Manager Pamela Humphrey and the mechanical technician Josiah where both knowledgeable attentive and friendly, I cannot express enough how truly blessed I was to find this repair shop as I had a highway emergency w my car over heating.. After a MAJOR falling out with former management, I took my business to Mr. Tire in Rocky Mount, however the two main people there transferred out.As I live in Roanoke Rapids, this is now more convenient for me to come here vs traveling 40 miles to Rocky Mount! Excellent service and quick to repair a blown tire. They were dog friendly and let us bring our dog inside to keep cool. The technician even stayed late to fix our tire. We can’t thank you enough! Definitely 5 star service!

I’ve been coming here for a year now and each time I’ve received quality service. As a single woman we sometimes feel uncomfortable to take our cars for service because we feel we’ll be taken advantage of, but each time I come here for an oil change, tires, etc I’ve left satisfied.

Very unprofessional and rude. They are incompetent and have no idea what they are doing. If you want to be ripped off go there. I will not let them change a tire on a go cart. Stay away from them
