They sold me a piece of wood they didnt even have. Not only that theyre spruce is cheaper than their pine! Didnt make any sense to me!

Great place for building materials. It has switched owners, so the new name is Builders First Choice. David Drummond at the Roanoke Rapids location is super knowledgeable and always a great help. Prices are competitive or better than the local Lowes + less of a run around or hurry up and wait when getting special order items.

Prices lower than big box stores like lowes and they will help you load your lumber. They also have many goodies all builders will love inside and you domt have to be a contractor for them to serve you. Go spend $20 or $2000 and they will treat you the same.
