Cooler weather was calling my name for a hot drink, so I thought I would check to see if any peppermint drinks had shown up on the menu yet. 😁 But no, not yet. 😆 I ordered from the mobile app and picked my white chocolate mocha up in the store. They werent too busy, had plenty of workers, and I got my drink quick. It was a good stop.

Visited this place for a green iced tea. Staff were efficient and friendly at the register and taking the order, TWO stars The rest of service NO stars 😳. Four staff behind counter which increased to SEVEN whilst I was waiting on my drink... WHY?? Two people were served before me who had iced coffee drinks and they came into the store AFTER ME!!!!Only one car came through the drive thru. It was an iced tea, green no sugar. It was already in a pitcher. Chuck it in a plastic cup. Shake up with a bit of ice, job done. So why was I almost moulded to a seat waiting for my drink. Won’t visit again. Not a happy bunny

Great til my daughter brought frappe back because it didnt taste right...one sip and she just asked them to make it again, alil too strong... and the cashier had a whole attitude.. not good... we werent ugly either...

1st, it was dirty, bathrooms too. 2nd, drinks were terrible. Hot chocolates tasted like water, dark chocolate and burnt coffee. Lattes didnt even have a flavor in them and were so strong and disgusting. Do not waste your money there! There were like 5 or 6 people behind the counter and only a handful of customers, so they are just bad at their jobs. Oct 2021

It took a long time to get a simple drink. Dont understand why.

These guys & gals do their best. Anytime I stop by, they are always busy and consistently understaffed; the baristas behind the counter have no control over that, be kind. Mobile order, walk-in, or drive-through, you are going to have to be patient. Its going to take a hot minute to get your order, but youll get it.

I’m from out of town, this is the first Starbucks I seen in a hour of my drive so I stop as normal on my way back home. The girl who has the red hair and headset had a nasty attitude. Every time I ordered something she said “is that it”? I asked for my egg bites to be cooked longer which were not and one of my drinks which was a chai tea latte extra hot no foam. So when I got it it was foam on top. I let her know I asked for extra hot and NO foam. She came to the window and said 280 is the hottest we can get it, which I KNOW is a lie because I have worked for Starbucks for 3 1/2 years and that can burn someone and get a lawsuit. And the machines do not even get that hot because the milk will me more for like a cappuccino and burn you while it’s steaming. When I went to put my drink in my cup holder I burnt my two first fingers because the lid was not closed which cause a spill in my car. If she does not want to work she shouldn’t be in customer service. I would rather drive an extra mile then come here again.

Avoid this Starbucks at all costs they have 20 kids working in here as I stood for my two simple coffees to no avail! They made me wait for 15 minutes ignoring me the entire time AFTER it was paid for. I had to demand somebody to stop socializing and make my coffee, this group is totally RUDE, the kid Jalen, should NOT have a job in customer service!!! AWEFUL

Closed the inside just as we got there, they posted signs saying drive through only. And wouldnt serve up even though we were already inside. We were able to use the restroom before leaving, it was unfortunately very filthy. Garbage all around the outside. I will honestly never go back to this location and was by far the worst starbucks I have ever visited.

I usually hit this Starbucks when Im traveling the interstate. I stopped by on a Sunday in July and there were about ten cars in the drive thru. It look no less than a half hour to get to the window and get our drinks. They need faster, more efficient people working this location.

Driving back to NY. Detoured off the interstate for coffee. Says it closes at 1030pm. Arrived at 10:15. The door was locked. Employees inside chilling and told me they’re closed. If you don’t want to come to work to work…. Stay home..

Dont usually leave bad reviews. 1st not so good experience in eons. Staff appeared to have low moral. I was ignored for a while. Everyone seemed miserable. Did not offer pour-over as bold coffee alternative, only Americano. Urinal not working properly; bathroom smelled. This location needs some TLC.

Coffee was fine but it took us at least 20 minutes to get through the drive through.

They were not very busy and the service was great as expected. Businesses are currently struggling to hire employees these days and this location may be effected by this but I couldnt tell during this trip.

Drink was delicious however the drive thru line of maybe 8 cars took about 20 mins. Mustve been an off day.

The absolute worst Starbucks Ive ever been to. The are always short staffed and half the time only have the drive thru open. They are constantly out of stuff, like flavored syrups and teas. Also a lot of the staff is very young and rude. Id go to Dunkin if I were you.

They moved to slow and the inside was closed. I will go to the one close to home because the inside is open and the line outside moves much faster. Yall need to do better...

Even though this is a super busy stop off os I95, they took the time to carefully steam some milk for our coffees without even asking for that. Made the drinks amazing! That will be our new standard order! Very friendly and quick to serve!

I have never visited a Starbucks that was so dirty/ bathroom needed cleaned- was very disgusting/ could have been a gas station. Counters were dirty, glass windows were dirty- was really a terrible impression - what made it worse is that there were 5 associates standing behind counter chatting and I was the only one there. Sad representation of Starbucks brand. Very sad.

This was by far the absolute worst experience we have ever had at any Starbucks. Extremely rude and disrespectful staff. Drinks were absolutely disgusting. I called to speak to the manager just to let them know that the people we encountered did not have very good customer service and was told that there was not one there so I had to speak to a shift supervisor and got an attitude from her as well. She wouldn’t let me finish my sentence and was just annoyed that I was calling to let them know about our experience. She has a very “so what” attitude. Customer service in my opinion can completely make or break an experience, and in this case it completely broke it. It’s just really disappointing considering the usual customer service at almost any Starbucks is very pleasant.

Low staff, did not give me what I payed for. And all the workers were too busy to assist after I got my order wrong. And they were low on everything or didn’t have at all. Bathroom was dirty. Trash everywhere.

On my list of Starbucks because I travel, this location needs to close. Restroom had a urine puddled on the floor (the building looked new), service was BAD. I ordered a coffee... He said the brewer was broken and all they had was Americano I hesitated but said ok... Im heading south on I 95 and the next Starbucks was Rocky Mount NC. So I ordered, he said that will be 3.19 I said WHAT, for instant coffee and youre giving me little options here youre gonna charge me 3.19 yes he said. Now I travel, but on this trip I came from St. Paul MN going through Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Columbus, Pittsburgh, on I 70 going to DC then on 95 to Jacksonville FL. Not once was my coffee at any Starbucks more than 2.60, thats why I was shocked at this little town they are charging 3.19... Besides getting off the interstate its out of the way, this place looked new. Im just glad I dont live in this area.

Amazing staff at this Starbucks. I stop every Friday on my way home. Usually very busy and sometimes slow but my drink is always right. I usually am there around 630 so I can understand why it’s busy.

I only come to this starbucks every 3 months.. & everytime i go there always out of something. the last i came they were out of cinnamon dolce & raspberry syrup & honey blend i believe is what it’s called. this time they were out of all 3 & caramel🤦🏼‍♀️how are you out of caramel??? and everytime i ask for no whip cream & they always put it. they just don’t care and don’t pay attention to what people ask for. the person that takes your order is very nice and their are some people that make drinks that i’m ok with but the others just don’t pay attention

Most horrible service because i simply said my drink was not mixed right and the attitude of the young lady making it over was unacceptable, then call back to speak to a manager and it was not taken seriously at all. This happen on tuesday night 04/27/2021. Too much money spent to not be provided at least good customer service.

We just stopped at this store after having placed an online order. My wife accidentally ordered from a store 40 minutes south so when we arrived, of course our order wasn’t ready much to our dismay despite placing the order 25 minutes prior. The manager, Tiera (sp?) and her staff were FANTASTIC in righting the order promptly despite having a busy cafe! Thank you Roanoke Rapids Starbucks, Tiera, and staff for the overwhelming hospitality, superb customer service, and making our experience memorable beyond belief especially in the country’s current climate (covid)!

I WAITED 20 MINUTES FOR 1 DRINK, WHICH THEY STILL GOT WRONG AND TASTED LIKE NOTHING! THE ABSOLUTE WORST STARBUCKS IVE EVER BEEN TO. THE STAFF IS BEYOND SLOW AND RUSH ON YOUR DRINK ORDER. THEY HAVE NO BEHIND THE BAR SYSTEM TO WHERE WHO DOES WHAT EVERYONE WHO WORKS THERE LOOKS LIKE THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. A TWO YEAR OLD COULD DO A MUCH BETTER JOB THEN THEY COULD. THEY DEFINITELY NEED STAFF MANAGEMENT TRAINING ON HOW TO EFFICIENTLY GET ORDERS OUT BETTER.

Not happy with this Starbucks. This is the only starbucks I have seen that still has the lobby closed because of covid. I completely understand having the tables closed but we should be able to go in and order our drinks. You make me question my starbucks addiction, When I see 16 cars in the drive thru and barely any movement.

Disappointed & super inconvenient ! They are drive thru only (although not indicated on the mobile app or online) and the notice is a handwritten piece of paper on the door. (A real frustration for the mom traveling and offloading a baby and two toddlers thinking she would be able to go in, order and use the restroom.) The parking lot was not designed to meet the drive through at max length capacity and have enough room for people to utilize parking. The parking lot is also trashed. After waiting in line for over 35 min (I couldn’t get out of line even if I wanted to) the ladies at the drive thru were short, unpleasant and looked at me like I wasn’t grabbing my coffee fast enough.P.S: my coffee was a disappointment...and I ordered a staple, a grande white mocha. 😑

Closed at 3:30 even though their official hours say they are open until 10. They lost a lot of business.. multiple cars were behind us that also exited the interstate just to find it closed.

Once again, they were out of eggnog. But that is to be expected since eggnog is the ambrosia of the gods. I ended up getting a caramel macchiato with extra caramel drizzle, extra chocolate drizzle, and extra whip cream. Absolutely delectable. The staff was very friendly too, despite it being so very busy. The drive thru lane was wrapped around the building and out of the parking lot!

I drive out of my way to come here. Came to NC one evening and they were out of Frappuccino large cups so I ordered a medium and it was size of a small. Prices are not always the same. Drove to NC Saturday evening and set in a drive thru line with lots of others and found out they were closed. Not dependable

Very friendly but could be a bit more organized behind the bar! They were so crowded with only 3 people staffed and they kept a really upbeat friendly attitude despite the rush.

Consistent Starbucks quality Latte and very courteous employees. I am so glad they were open and observing safety guidelines. Would rate 5 star except the store manager had understaffed. Suggest using the drive up at this location because it appeared the drive up was getting priority over the inside customers.

Standard Starbucks in Roanoke Rapids off the highway. Always seems very busy and shares a lot with Chick-fil-A so there is usually some traffic. Nice place to stop with dogs though, with a big field right next to parking lot. Very busy though, expect longer than usual wait times, be prepared to be patient, staff has always been friendly though.

I placed an order online today it said that my order would be ready in 17 to 20 minutes we waited 30 minutes to go get it and it was still not ready and when they made the order it was wrong and then the cashier wanted to get an attitude when we told her that the drinks were wrong she said That aint our fault the drinks aint right thats your fault its how you ordered them. I ordered hot drinks and they made them cold how is that the customers fault. Starbucks really needs to evaluate their employees and their attitudes towards customers.

Sooooo slow and grumpy service

Sign stated they were out of certain drinks. Then we noticed several people had those drinks. We waited 30 to 40 minutes for our drink. Employee was very rude.

So glad this location was open. It was late, heading home from a long day at Duke, and just needed my usual but with an extra shot to help me get back to Richmond. Fella at window was awesome, drink was yummy, and did the trick. This Starbucks location has always been my favorite going to Duke and coming back.

Maybe it’s just a super busy and bad day for this location but it was packed, lots of folks coming off highway using restrooms, which were trashed. Lots of drinks sitting on counter and lots of people waiting but no one connecting the two. I watched a lady ask for sugar and the employee said, we have hand it out back here and then she turned around to work on something else without offering said customer the sugar. I got all of my order except one small drip coffee. I asked for it about it and no one answered. Waiting a few minutes and basically has to yell that all I was waiting for was a small drip coffee. Finally an employee answered that usually that is giving when you ring up but that she was willing to fix it for me. Again, hopefully it was just a bad day but man, it was rough. Total “quick stop” time off highway was 30 min.

Its Starbucks! Consistent quality and service across the empire! You can count on it each time and in every place!

4:15 PM, march 21, 2021I waited in line behind 12 cars for over 20 minutes to find out no one is working in the building today! Turns out there is a note stuck to the door saying they closed at 1 PM today.

I placed a mobile order and instead of picking up in the drive through I went inside. There was only 1 person waiting when I walked in. Another person and a family of 4 came in about 5 min later. No one greeted me when i came in. I waited 15 min while the other people were served before I had to ask if my order was ready. It was and had been sitting there almost 15 min behind the counter. No apology was given and by that point my drink was luke warm .

Young man working the drive through on Saturday at 5 was wearing a mask but didn’t bother to cover his nose. Leaned toward our car maybe 2 feet away while talking. Had to politely ask him to back away and put on mask properly. Management of this branch needs to get on this. Unacceptable.

Been in the drive through for 40 minutes.

Coffee was so so, seemed watered down or something, no flavor. Also was bummed to find out I couldnt get my birthday coffee the day after my birthday.

Went thru the drive thru - 5th in line.... didnt take long to make it thru and get our drinks. They made our drinks exactly the way we asked and were friendly.

Quick drive thru service. However, not on main road off the exit. Off on a side access road that would be difficult to find at night.
