They also feature a great beer selection if that is more your speed, a nice touch! The gift section has a wonderful spread of Roanoke labeled items which I have personally gifted for years. As terrific as this business is and their product, their customer service is even better! We partnered with Wine Gourmet to host a virtual wine tasting for our employees and Brian made the entire process so easy and the actual tasting so much fun! Its hard to keep a group of co-workers engaged over a Zoom, but he did it (wine helps!) He took all the planning off my hands (I gave a budget and he selected the perfect wine and charcuterie AND took care of shipping to multiple locations across Virginia) so I could enjoy the event stress-free. Wine and treats were so tasty and everyone had a wonderful time. If you are looking for someone to host your next tasting, definitely give them a call!

Although the folks were somewhat responsive to our issue (thus the second star) overall I am disappointed with how this business handled an issue we had. After the keg we ordered for a big event was completely foam (not over pumped, not jostled, handled exactly as directed) this business took their distributors line of “it’s not our fault” and passed it on to us. An $80 purchase wasted. We could have ordered from Kroger or other NationalChain but tried to use a local establishment. Unfortunately we learned that was not a good idea. Very disappointed and honestly surprised that the best they “could offer” was 10% off a future keg…… so $8 off a future purchase that I wouldn’t trust to work properly to begin with? No thanks. We’ll use the Kro-bar in the future.

Called ahead asking if they have flasks. Very nice lady told me about all the ones they have and the price ranges. Went there to pick one up, was surprised to see an amazing selection of beer and wine as well as gifts! Found my flask, picked up a couple more items for Christmas, and found a seasonal beer I had been looking for(Mad Elf!) The entire staff is so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Lori was a wonderful help at wine gourmet. I have been going to wine gourmet for the last couple of years infrequently. The store has evolved into more than just wine, with gourmet foods and treats for everyone. Very nice store, will be returning.

I brought my boyfriend who was visiting out of town and who is knowledgeable about wine into the store to show him what a cute store it is. I had gotten him something from there for his July birthday. While there he purchased us both a gourmet chocolate. I was extremely embarrassed after he spent that kind of money on chocolates and saw they were given to him in a snack size clear zipper bag like you would put pretzels in for a school lunch. That was not classy! I wont be back.

Let me tell you how it goes here. These folks have forgotten more about wine than most will ever know. Great selection of different worldly regions and great service to boot. Go! They are awesome.

You absolutely cant go wrong at Wine Gourmet.The staff is knowledgeable and their service is impeccable. Wine, craft beer, gourmet snacks, and oh... the Chocolate Paper Chocolate.You can buy wine for about the same price just about everywhere. What you cant get anywhere but Wine Gourmet is the service, knowledge, and confidence that youve got the absolute best wine for whatever your occasion or purpose.

Shopping with these guys is the embodiment of supporting local! I have two young children and taking them in a store full of glass is not ideal... Brian and his staff know our taste in wine and after taking our budget and tastes in mind, hand-selected wines for us and allowed us to pay over the phone so my wine stop was short and sweet. They have a great selection of unique gifts as well. Highly recommend!!!!!

They have incredible selection of wines and are incredibly knowledgeable - they can help you select the perfect wine for any taste, any occasion, and any budget. We love the frequent tastings that they host and usually leave with a bottle of everything we try! Prices are fantastic - one of our special occasion wines is now a wine that we enjoy regularly simply because Wine Gourmet sells it for $20 less per bottle than where we used to buy it. We normally stop in for a bottle and leave with 2 or 3 because their pricing is better than anywhere else in the valley. They also have a huge selection of craft beers, gifts, glassware, and delicious snacks (many are from other local companies that they partner with) so theres really something for everyone. Stop in for one of their tastings and youll see what an awesome place this is!

A super fun store to visit--I take my parents here whenever they are up from Virginia Beach. If you like wine, beer, or cider (my fav) this is the place to go! In addition to the liquid refreshments, they have greeting cards (which are hysterical), funny cocktail napkins, cutting boards, wine glasses... well basically anything that is in any way shape or form related to beverages listed above.Oh yeah, they also have a case filled with gourmet chocolates...I havent had any of those, but they look heavenly. Enjoy!

I cannot recommend this store enough! The customer service I recieved was OUTSTANDING! Michelle and Brian both went above and beyond with my order. I was told my specialized order would be ready on Friday( I ordered On a Wed) and they had my order done in less than 24hrs!!! They are friendly, professional and polite. Highly recommend them!

The staff is incredibly helpful and caring. The selection of wine and beer can be overwhelming but employees make sure youre taken care of. My boyfriend was thrilled they also sold growlers! Theres something for everyone!
