The selection odd candy and weird drinks, toys and games was really good, and the staff was super helpful. If youre in a manual wheelchair, be mindful of the slightly tilted floor. A couple of the aisles are a little narrow, but otherwise, its pretty convenient to navigate.

I absolutely hate going into Roanoke but this store makes it worth it hands down! Candy by the pound with great variety and unique soft drinks make this place a grown ups chance to be a kid in a candy store once again!

What a great trip back in time. Games, candy, drinks, and novelty items cover the store from top to bottom. If youre looking for something from childhood, chances are its here! Great place!

It was a fun place to go! There were fun little gag gifts and tons of games (like board games and card games). I didnt expect that but as my husband and I love games, we ended up finding a few to add to our collection.

The variety of candy and stuff in this corner store is awesome. Yes its pricy but things tend to be that way near tourist attractions. The staff was very nice and the chocolates behind the glass shelf were excellent. I do recommend stopping in an looking around at the selection even if you dont plan on buying. You might see something you havent had in awhile and change your mind.

We have been here twice, as added bonus to the Pinball Museum upstairs. The hard candy I got two years ago I still have and some I may have to toss because it was unwrapped.I bought some new stuff and ventured out with some nut goodies as well as the root beer barrels I enjoyed the last time. I am diabetic so the sugar free was a nice find and I keep the regular hard candy for emergencies.Next time were in Roanoke I will definitely be back.

I come here often. I love it, but my kids really love it. Great selection of candy from all over. Pretty much anything you are looking for. Also, they always play great music and the hip kids who work there are helpful and fun. I shop here around every holiday and also whenever I bring my family to the awesome museums (even a pinball museum!) which are located in the same building. A++

Seriously the happiest place on Earth! Tons of different choices including strange and foreign candy. Bulk high quality gummies and chocolates as well as locally made truffles. Delicious bottled sodas and some really strange flavors too. The Candy Store is the perfect place to grab a treat downtown or pick up a quick gift. The staff have always been friendly and helpful.

The dark chocolate covered almonds are fantastic as well as the Coffee Bean covered chocolate. My overall favorite was the chocolate covered pretzels because you get this sweet and salty I also like the novelty items here. You wont get too much help because theres only one person working here but they have lots of choose from

I love this place. Its a dream-like mix of candy and crazy novelties. They have super delightful staff, (big nods to Monet!) I very highly recommend that you steal some kids, (please dont) and take them to The Candy Store!

This place is very fun to go to and a treat for my kids! They also carry a candy bar that I cant find anywhere else. They also have unique novelty gifts.

I live in northeast Ohio and wanted to get some of the truffles from Nancys Candy Co.,I was directed to The Candy Store since they stock these truffles. After a couple phone calls and speaking with Monet she was able to put together a rather large order of truffles and I paid for them over the phone then had a friend from the Roanoke area pick them up and get them shipped out to me. Now my friends and coworkers will get to sample the truffles that I have been raving about. Again thanks for your excellent customer service.

This candy store is fun! They have novelty items like bug lollipops and oversized candy. They have a little freezer behind the counter where they keep handmade frozen popsicles (I recommend cookies and cream). Youll find yourself smiling as you walk around, inside this shop.

The Candy Store is located in downtown Roanoke. They have an impressive selection of candy, both in bulk and packaged. Their prices are amazingly low given the downtown location. The staff is great and we always find something new to try. They also play great music!

Fun store with a lot of options.

Drove 1.5 hours to fine 2 - 1/2 melted Chinese manufactured 5 lb gummy bear...when asked what else they had was directed to candy rack where 3 inch gummies were $2.25 each and were all torn up....sarcastic employee comment..well we have to pay our employees good...never again will I ever be back

There are so many candies to choose from, and I think (at least what I bought) was a fair price. I recommend.

The male clerk was kinda nonchalant and neveroffered any assistance to me or the several other customers in there. I was looking for some chocolate peanut clusters. I didnt care about price. I truly wanted to support this small business. I couldnt find any peanut clusters so I left. Had I gotten a greeting of some sort I may have settled for something else.

Excellent snack/candy choices. Very convenient for kids on a field trip.

A wide variety of candy and candy related gifts. I love this place for the ability to try small samples of new and different candies inexpensively.

Always a great visit, nice staff and amazingly good candy. If your looking for nostalgia they have it. Lots of candy like Razzles and Kitts, and Candy cigarettes. They also have great things for gag gifts and bacon lovers. My family goes here as a weekend outing when we are close it also is right at the museum.

When was the last time you saw Mary Janes or Bit O Honey? A new favorite for me is the buttered popcorn jelly beans - oh my Gosh so good. The owner and all the folks he hires are great and he plays the BEST music!

Disappointed on February 26, 2016 that the website said the store closing hours were at 9:00 p.m.and when I drove across town the store was closed! The time was 6:50 p.m.
