The staff was quick to the jump, an there willingness to assist in anyway they could. I felt like part of the “Family”, an that sold me. The first time I visit the lot I was showed a vehicle I didn’t particularly care for but, still test drove it to get a feel of it. After I thought long an hard about the price, the vehicle it just wasn’t a good fit for me. The JDByrider staff didn’t give up on me, they gave me my space an several days later called me with something in mind they felt would suit me an my needs. “They were “Right”!! Byrider has been amazing! Tyler was awesome and when we had a slight issue with the headlights, they got us in right away and fixed it pretty quickly, and it was covered by the warranty they offer. We have had nothing but superior service and will definitely purchase our next vehicle from them.

It’s has been a roller coaster with byrider! But at the end of the day they do work with you to an certain extent! So far they have done right by me. No complaints at the moment! I was not approved for a car, which is no big deal. However the child that they had working said that they do not pull credit scores, which they do. When I asked if I could see what my credit score was I was denied the opportunity to do so. I then pull my own credit and saw that they in fact did pull credit scores, I called and talked to the manager. The manager was very rude and told me that again they do not pull credit, but do do a credit check. I explained that I asked to see my credit score and was denied. He said no place would ever let someone see their credit score after pulling it which I know not to be true. He then decided to not be of further assistance, and tried to end the call. I let him know that other places do indeed let them see their own credit score, and I did not appreciate being lied to. Just all over rude people, I would not go to this place for anything.

If you go online and submit a credit application then you will be wasting your time because it will say that you are approved and when you get to the dealership it will be different and you are not approved. Total waste of time and money!!

I would not recommend obtaining a vehicle from this business. The vehicles are over priced, not in the best condition & they will get you with very high interest rates. This is a business for individuals with poor credit. The staff was not the best, poor customer service. Im grateful my credit is repaired & I was blessed to purchase a new Kia at low interest & low monthly payments. Please don’t go to this place complete rip off!!! You will end up paying triple the cost that they tell you that you will pay. They told me I had 36 month contract. And now it’s a 47 months. And the claim it’s because I was late a few times on payments but still pay the amount that was so. So tell me how that’s another year added to my agreement?.. If you ever go through any real life problems they don’t care your interest will still rise very had even if you pay late your interest will shoot up. Really not worth it they are ripping people off and it’s sad!!! I really regret going to them you are better off else where. They need to be shut down!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !!! 0 stars

On 4 November 2018, while driving, my dash lights, radio and all instrument panel functions, went completely out on my 2013 Ford Focus. I didnt stop to try to figure out the reason; I drove straight to the service shop.When I arrived, it was approx. 5:20 pm. I was greeted by Michelle Henderson, the Service Writer. I explained my problem to her. She created a trouble ticket and passed it to the Service Technicians. She stated, that they may not he able to fully determine the issue, due to the office closed at 5:30 pm.After about 15 minutes, Keith Smith, the Service Manager told me, with the assistance from Josh Mills, a Service Technician, the issue had been resolved. He explained to me, the possible cause and the solution they used to resolve it.Even though, I arrived at the last minute, when the office was preparing to close, I was not turned away. I received the 3 Ps: Polite, Prompt and Professional care, just as a customer would expect.To show my appreciation, I returned back to the office today and personally thank each of them. They went out of their way, to ensure my vehicle was back in operating condition. They even asked, upon my arrival, if everything was okay and if I had experienced anymore issues.Thank you J.D. Am living a nightmare right now. I stupidly cosigned a loan for my ex. He turned the car back in when I closed the account the payments were coming out of. I was not given the opportunity to take over the payments. He skipped town and my wages got garnished to the tune of 1300 dollars. The only address that was used was a home that I lost to foreclosure. The lady I spoke to this week was beyond rude. It appears they are only taking action against me instead of my deadbeat ex. Then she refused to talk to me and referred me to their attorneys office. My ex left all the loan documents in the car. We have been split up since January 2017. Do not buy from them.

Would not recommended this place to my enemy nothing but problems from them after paying over 2000 on a 2006 Pontiac g6 that’s blue book value is 3500 returned the vehicle because the payments were to much for my wife. Get a letter about 2 months ago that they sold the car at a auction and after the remaining ballence was paid off gave us a 26$ check that stated that after the car was sold that they owed us that remaining ballence well I get off work yesterday to see a letter on my door that their suing us for almost $7000 we kept the check and paperwork to bring to court thank god. But I don’t want anyone else to go threw what they tryed to put us threw theirs a tone of better car dealerships in Roanoke with far less interest rates be safe with who you finance with.

Service Department Review: These guys are awesome. Ive gone in for service a few times now and each time they are up front and honest, never charging extra service charges when multiple services are needed, and will go out of their way to ensure you arent charged for anything your warranty covers. If you have any questions or feel uncertain about anything (because, lets face it, almost everyone has more than one story of getting screwed over by a mechanic somewhere), these guys will take the time to sit down with you, explain everything in detail, and answer all of your questions (no matter how redundant). This is by far the best auto mechanic service Ive had the luxury of doing business with out of all the dozens Ive been to throughout the country. Regardless of how you may feel about the sales department or the JD Byrider name in general, the service department at this location is top notch and I cant recommend it highly enough.

We were desperate, got a car from them last year, staff was nice enough, there was only 2 cars to choose from(according to our monthly income)supposedly worked with our budget but still the monthly payments are to high for the shape the car was in, the car is only worth $2500, but we will have paid 5 times as much in 5 year term than this car is worth! Don’t buy from them! I’ll never buy a car from them again, we were ripped off big time!

Went in to look at a vehicle not only was it priced double the blue book value I would have ended up paying over 20000 for a car worth maybe 8000. What a joke of a place I dont see how or why anyone would buy from here. Not only that there was a pretty bad accident in front of the building and the office ladies were making jokes about it pretty sad from a business stand point of view. There are other buy here pay here places that can help this place is a joke and if you want to pay 20,000 for a vehicle then be my guest. But I would do way more research before going here. They had it priced like 2000 less the the original price back in 2010.
