We purchased three remote starters. One car was done and then the other 2 a couple weeks later. There were some scheduling issues, both ours and theirs. Premier Auto Trends staff was very upfront with us about the change. No excuses, no fake stories, just honest business. Very refreshing. They installed the starters in what I considered a very reasonable time. Our vehicles were very well taken care of while they had them. They also provide a short, in person tutorial on the functioning of the remotes when you pick up your vehicle. A nice extra. There will be at least one more vehicle in which we will have a remote starter installed and there will be no shopping around for it. Premier Auto Trends will be the only call we will need to make.

Got the job done after triple checking everything with them. Were nice on price and addressing issues. Customer service is haphazzard.

Poor service. had an appointment at 10 am and was told i was the first car getting done and all i was getting installed was a amplifier hooked up to the factory radio thats it. And i didnt hear about my car until after 4pm. Not to add, the price was waaaay more than quoted to me at time of pick up. Definitely BAD BUSINESS

I recently had a remote car starter installed here. The customer service is excellent from all I interacted with. The receptionists I spoke with were knowledgeable and friendly. The work was done in a short time and they reviewed information on the remote. I would highly recommend them!

This was the worst service i have ever experienced. Rude, they lie about pricing, and then when you confront them about their lies they deny it. I was quoted at 140 dollar install for a deck! I thought 140 was too much, but went with it anyway, they called and said it would be a LITTLE more because of hardwire a couple cords upon pickup it was 296 dollars! I dont know how a LITTLE more is double the price and then some. Needless to say I would never go back to them nor recommend them to anyone who is not an enemy and even then I would feel bad. 0 stars it makes me upset thinking about it.

Had windows tinted on a vehicle, when my partner picked the car up, a childs car seat was in my backseat, he didnt notice until home.They were closed by this time.when I returned to ask if anyone was transporting a child in my car, Victor reviewed their cameras and saw a tech mistakenly put it in. I asked for some sort of compensation for the inconvenience and asked what I was to do with car seat? Victor said no discount and said he would buy that family a new car seat. He could of gave me an air freshener or discounted it. He didnt understand that mistake could of caused an argument with my partner, because we dont have small children or car seats. I hope Victor made sure the family got a new car seat!

THEY CAUSED DAMAGE TO MY CAR AND WONT REFUND MY MONEY!One star is pretty generous. I purchased a Groupon for a remote starter install and everything went fine with the install. There was a portion of the install that was not covered by the Groupon but that was fine. However several weeks later my car wouldnt start at all. I had to have the car towed to Premier where they told me there was nothing wrong with the remote start and they uninstalled it. After having it towed to the dealership, they informed me that the remote start that had been installed was installed with exposed wires that shorted out the starter. I informed Premier of this and they gave me a refund for the portion I paid directly to them. BUT when it came time to get a refund for the amount paid for the Groupon they said they couldnt. I have contacted the owner several times and he has not responded and Groupon has confirmed that since services were rendered that Premier is responsible for the refund. I will be reporting them to the BBB for taking my money and not refunding after their services caused damage to my car.

Geez where do I begin.... went in for a car starter paid about 400.00. The next day starter won’t start my car or at least unlock. Called went in again they fixed the starter and, they also fixed something else that they messed up while putting in the starter. I end up going home and again it won’t unlock or lock . I ignore it because at this point I’m happy with at least the car starter working. All of a sudden it stops Turing on my car. I go in and they give me a new controller... moral of the story my car still doesn’t unlock..... the Minnesota colds are long and bitter . I absolutely NEED a working car starter. They were nice and all but just the trouble I’ve had to go through. It’s an inconvenience in my busy life

Had a remote installed last year in March. Guys were great, fast and customer service excellent. This year noticed dead battery in controller, changed, died in 3 days. Changed again, same issue. Call shop, they said to bring a car they will look at it. Maid an appointment. When I got there noone knew why I am here and they didnt had any appointment for me. Anyway l explained my problem, they said need to order new controller and reprogram it. My cost has to $60, I said sure. After that cant get a hold of anyone, who can help me, over the phone. Its ethier no answer or they dont know what I am talking about! I am super upset and unsatisfied!

I got a remote car starter in my wife’s car. We also got some window tinting. Everything went smooth. The car remote battery died a couple months later. They replaced the battery for free. Then the remote had to be reprogrammed to the car for some reason. I was in the area so it was a big deal to swing by. The biggest thing is they fixed it for free.

Stay away!Took almost 8 hrs to install remote starter. I had it for not even a year and the starter wouldnt work anymore, brought it back to them and suddenly none of them knows how to touch it..Its funny how they commented that the module might just need to be restarted.. So they knew the problem and yet they refuse to fix it!

Getting the 2way remote start installed in my vehicle caused it to have major electrical issues to the point my car won’t shift gears anymore. I would NOT GO HERE EVEN IF ITS A GROUPON

I received a reasonable price, excellent customer service and best of all same-day installation (I was lucky to get on their schedule; theyre reserved for the week, and nothing worked for times the following week due to my summer courses and work). The tinted have bubbles, they wanted me to pay full prices even though one warranty sign in the shop said as long as you have the car. Guess Im shop around to fix the bubbles next few weeks.

I brought my truck here with a groupon to get a 1 way remote start installed. They did a great job installing and programming the remote start, but it had a minor issue. I called them, brought the truck back, and they fixed it for free. The employees here are all very nice and they back the products that they install and their work. They also did a really nice clean job routing the wiring for it. I would definitely do business here again.

Had a groupon for an automatic car starter. The guy in the phone was very friendly. When I got there, the lady behind the counter was friendly as well! I went down the street for lunch. My car was ready in1 1/2hr ! I was happy because they told me it would be 3 hours and it was way sooner. The price was a lot cheaper than every price a saw before selling in this place. Great service by these guys. Got a Groupon to install a remote starter at a great price. About a year later I started having issues with the cars anti-theft system, which I attributed to the remote starter. I dropped the car off so they could check it and Dan went above and beyond to identify and repair the issue, which was being caused by the negative ground terminal not being attached properly. Dan re-lugged it and issues disappeared. Great service by these guys!

Disappointed I had both of my parents auto starter installed there. The store is too busy to care about providing service. I called to speak to someone about my auto starter issue and was told they will call me back because the person that answered the phone is doing 5 things at once. I quickly asked if I can stop by today and was told they cant make any promises and to call back later when they are not busy.

I had Veronica call me the day before I had my remote start installed stating I could come in at 12 I called the next day to confirm and was told to come in at 1pm instead which was fine. I dropped it off and went to go grab something to eat. Came back around 2pm they didn’t even pull the truck in and start which was frustrating because I dropped it 20 mins earlier then the appointment. They didn’t pull it in until 2:20 which now my plans have been messed up for the day they then tell me 2-4 hours which I’m now confused on because I’ve had a remote start installed before and was done in under a hour. We end up leaving around four but not before the installer comes up throwing a attitude and having to be told to go back downstairs. If your looking to have this done with plans for the day I suggest you don’t if you want to sit all day with a appointment go ahead. Next time will be going to Mach 1 or Best Buy I do have to say the remote start does perform flawlessly.

I went to install a remote starter on my car.The front desk service is good, but the installation is bad. After they tear off to put the wires in, they didnt put it back nice as b4. There is gap on the step by the door and the steering where the key and other part open. Im not sure just do bad service on my car or any car come for service. My wife is very mad and she says it was a waste of money.. we will have to take to someone to fix all the parts they teared off.

Had them do a remote on my Traverse with a Groupon. They were great. It didnt take as long as they said it would and it has worked perfectly ever since. Did an online inquiry to do some work on a 2000 Corvette and never heard from anyone. Apparently my money isnt green enough anymore. Go somewhere that actually needs and appreciates the business.

Brought my 2017 highlander hybrid to premier cause I thought I could install plug and play led headlights. After about 10 minutes and dropping the dust cover inside the engine I discovered my limits and needed help. Went in day after Christmas to check and Dan came out to look at the car, he then felt like the dust cover I dropped should be rescued and proceeded to, out in the wet street recover the dust cover, no charge. I then made an appointment to have the lights installed, in only an hour and a half I was on my way. Love my new lights! They really improved the look! Big thanks to Dan for going above and beyond! My stereo needs help so Ill be back for that as well. Highly recommend premier auto, I noticed alot of happy people picking up cars with remote starts, so they do alot of that too.

I was a little apprehensive at first considering it was just some random place I found on Groupon, but Mike and the guys changed my mind. They did a good job installing my 2 way remote start for hundreds less than Best Buy. I was waiting to leave a review untill I got a chance to use their warranty service, and I was VERY impressed. They took care of the small issue I was having same-day for free, so go here with confidence that they will take care of you. Only thing is plan on dropping your car off in the morning and leaving it for the day. I chose to sit and wait in the store and I was there for about 6 hours, and in that time I heard talk of scheduling conflicts they were having.

I was very pleased with the service. I had a remote starter installed. It took half the time they said it would. While installing my review mirror compass and auto dim was disconnected I brought it back to them they fixed it no questions asked and changed a few settings I wanted different. They immediately put my problem first and I was on my way quickly. Mistakes happen, its how they are taken care of that I judge on. I was very happy with my experience and I will return for tint installation in the summer. I highly recommend this place!

I got my car fully serviced here and it was AMAZING! The owner Vic and his associate Brian took the time to explain everything to me I needed to know. From window tints, to my sound system install and my remote start they had me covered 100%. I was being so picky and they took the time to explain every little piece of everything to me. The window tint guy (forgot his name) went through all my tint options and I get compliments any time someone notices and he also helped me pick out a fancy tv deck that looks sooooo cool. Its like i was on an episode of Pimp my Ride!! Their technician Kev also installed everything else flawlessly. Seriously if you are looking for QUALITY work for a GREAT price come here!!!

Had my windows tinted on my car, took little while longer than I was told but they did a incredible job, the guys there where extremely nice and i look forward to going back and getting more work done there

Went here every day for a week strait, they hooked my 2000 watt amp directly to the alternator rather than to the battery as it should have been done. I had problems out of it from day one went back they claimed to have fixed it just to have the same issue they next day. Wanted to install second battery thinking thats why I had so much power loss going on, they said they would call back and never did. I ended up going to another shop and was shown what they had done to my truck. Im super lucky my alternator didnt get burnt up! I paid them money for work that had to be totally redone and they knew it was wrong but didnt fix it the 4 times they had my truck after the initial install... I do not recommend any one go here and I know they will not give me my money back if they didnt want to fix the mistake in the first place!

Brought in own equipment, all top of the line. Installer burned out a $500 sub on a simple install and made me wait 2weeks for a replacement. Come to find out they tried to recone sub, did not know what they were doing, as speaker popped horribly. 3 weeks later finally got a new sub and OWNER sneakily called cops on me saying my vehicle smells like marijuana (which law enforcement cared nothing about). Took my sub and finished the install myself with ZERO issues.WORST CAR AUDIO SHOP IN MINNEAPOLIS, PERIOD!

Quoted the same price two different days over the phone by Brian. Scheduled an appointment for the following week. When i arrived they didnt have my appointment and somehow there was an additional $40 charge. After a few minutes they offered to only charge me $20 over the originally quoted price and that they could fit me in if I left my car for at least 4 hours. After 90 minutes of waiting I was called and notified that it wasnt possible to perform the install on my vehicle. When I arrived to get my keys one of the guys told me that that it wasnt worth it for them to complete the job because they didnt quote me correctly. Dont count on quotes being accurate and insist on a price with written copy before handing over your keys. Waste of time

I had two ways remote starter installed a week ago. Total cost $350 included Groupon $229. Why 3 stars: First, they drilled too many holes while only need to use one( see picture below). This could be done better if appropriate measurement was complete prior starting their work. Second, I showed up at 11 as scheduled but they had difficulty with scanning the Groupon code with their phone and their computer. It took them 30 mins to figure it out. The training on how to use remote starter was good and the remote starter is working as intended.

Horrible service, I came here to ask on a quote for window tint, remote starter and sound system. I would think a company would want my business. I never received a call after being told they would have to call and check if they remote starter product could be used for my car. A month later after Christmas I returned for the window tint due to good price. I was scheduled for today the 5th of February at 10am by Rebecca on Saturday the 3rd. I was sitting here in front so was others because they open at 10am. No one showed up til 10:27 and Im now being told the tint guy isnt here and would be here in 30 mins. The excuse was I was put into a 3pm time slot. WooooooW!!!!!!!!!Waste of my time and all I got was SORRY!

I had a groupon for a car starter. The product itself you can buy on ebay. What matters is the service. I was debating between two places and went with this one because they made a much better impression just when calling to make the appt.The install took longer than planned due to a few complications with car and module but there was no extra charge for replacing previously damaged wiring and the extra finagaling to get it done.My charger cord stopped working so they loaned me theirs and even somehow fixed mineThe service was great and that last reviewer should get over themselves. Just because they dont drop everything to move you ahead of everyone else doesnt mean they dont provide good service. It means that you have unreasonable expectations.I am confident that any follow up service will be just as great.

Dont buy a remote start here through Amazon Local or Groupon. They try to make you think youre getting a good deal when its more of a discount scam. The only 3-5 star ratings for remote starts through them are those conned into thinking they got a great deal, when in reality the end price isnt even a sale price.At least 4 ways their coupon site deal is deceptive:-They jack up the regular price to make it look like a deep discount.-They dont include in the purchase price a basic part that ALL modern cars (post 2000) require (bypass module). The coupon site fine print only says that some cars may need additional parts and labor. I guess if you drive an antique...-So when you call to set up appt. they tell you that it needs this part, which would be $123 extra on top of the coupon purchase. I asked them to break that down and they said $100 for the part and $23 for labor. However the part ranges from $35-50, not $100.-I called a car installation friend and he told me that they will ALWAYS charge you more than you paid through the coupon sites. They just try to piggy back off of Amazon Local and Groupon to get their customers, but never intend to give them a discount.In summary, their marketing is deceptive at best if not unethical. But naive customers leave happy thinking they still got a great deal even after forking out way more than they had originally planned. Do the research yourself. Call an upstanding installation retailer and youll find their regular prices (which include the bypass module) will be the same if not cheaper than Premier Auto Trends with the Groupon/Amazon Local coupon after paying the extra charges they will force you to pay.I tried to convince them that these charges were unfounded and their marketing strategies unscrupulous, but the best they could reply was that I could simply cancel my Amazon Local coupon....I was more than happy to cancel.

I got my car tinted at Premier Auto Trends last July. Picked it up almost at closing time and noticed a few hours later this weird rattling noise coming from the back speaker. I go and take a look and what I find is a little puncture in the speaker grille. It looked like a flathead screwdriver went through it. I thought no big deal, Ill call in the morning and see whats up. So I call, and they say no big deal bring the car back in, well take a look. They acknowledged right away, yep looks like thats what happen, well make it right. At this point the rattling noise had stopped so I didnt think anything of it. They say that they have to order the part, theyll call me when they get it in. To make a long story short, I contacted them at least 5 times, always getting the run around on how rare the part is, and that they need my actual VIN number to order the part. Fine. The rattling was back whenever the music came on, off and on. I was told time and time again that the part was gonna be there any day and that they were gonna fix it. Finally in September Id had enough of the rattling, I ask to get in and have them take the little broken pieces out of the speaker. I take it there and wait about 30 min, get in the car and the music is all the way up, blasting. I thought hmm weird. Anyways the very next day I turn the music up a little louder then I had been the last few months (I always kept the bass turned all the way down and the music lower, because I didnt want the little broken off speaker pieces to become un-lodged from where ever it was they were stuck) and what do I hear, RATTLING. I was disappointed to say the least. I couldnt believe it, I live about 35 minutes from Premier, and I sat in traffic the last time I went for close to 2 hours round trip, because they could only squeeze me in right before they close, rush hour.I realized now that they must have been so busy, he probably just turned the music up really loud, and couldnt hear anything, and thought I was crazy and gave me back my car. I thought to myself, I really hope he just missed a piece, but listened closely and could easily hear 2 or more rattling around.I never leave reviews, I had to get this out though.Was it my fault that the person installing the tint cracked the speaker enclosure? No. Every single person I talked to there acted like it was, and that I was a big burden to them. It was terrible. They finally got the enclosure in, October 15th and I took my car back for the fourth time, and explained to the guy everything that went on. I thought it was only fair that I be refunded 15 - 20% of my original purchase of the tint. He looked at me like I was out of my mind crazy. He talked it over with his boss apparently and that was the answer.It honestly blows me away that they cant see how wrong that is. Yes, they replaced the speaker cover they broke, but it was 4 months after they broke it. I was frustrated dozens and dozens of times from the rattling from the speakers, not to mention always had the music low in fear that the rattling would come back after it finally stopped.I dont think its too much to ask for them to refund me part of the money and hope they decide the same.I gave them 2 stars because they were willing and did replace the encloser.Sorry for the terribly long review, just had to get it all out.I will not be using premier auto trends again for any of my work. I am very disappointed to say the least.

Went to have rims put on left my car there at 10 oclock in the morning by 4 oclock they did not have the rims on the boat pattern was wrong on one tire had to come back Monday for different rims Got my car back sensor is messed up cost me three $400 to fix my sensor and do not recommend them anybody to go there
