I love Hy-Vee with every fiber of my being lbs. I just do not feel the same about their liquor store unfortunately. 😬☹️ I do not drink but was here for my sister. Found that variety and selection is huge or wide. Plus prices are a touch steep. Now I guess since your at the grocery store and there are tacking on a convenience charge then 😑 I suppose.

High prices and a worker with a bad attitude made this a lousy shopping experience.I had a coupon for 10% off. The worker said my coupon didnt work with my purchase, which was a sale item.Nowhere on the coupon was there a restriction against using this for sale items. I guess some retailers dont want return business.What a joke.I will shop elsewhere where prices are much lower and stores dont have a monopoly on their products. Can you say, Total Wine?

A great beer selection (way better than the Cub down the road), easy to get in an out, and an always super friendly staff make this a go to for me. I wish they had a better scotch selection, which is the only reason this isnt sitting at 5 stars.

Felt I was being followed by an employee actually I think we were thru the whole store. When my partner and I split up cuz I didnt want beer and I needed vodka he was angerly asked where his shopping cart was. He comely said my girlfriend has it. I guess we arent allowed to browse their store to find what we want or be without our cart!. So we gathered all our liquor and walked up to the first register and get yelled at again with an eye roll cuz I didnt see the guy at the second register. As we check out I dont see any boxes so I proceeded to bag my liquor and again I get yelled at for not knowing that there are boxes around the corner. So now Im very upset by how we are being treated. Ive never been to this store so I didnt know where everything was but treated us as if our business was not important and I felt awful by the time we left. Sad that good customer service isnt a thing anymore

Very nice staff! Good selection for a relatively small shop. Very glad to have this shop right here for sure.Annoyed with the city for banning tobacco here (I dont use tobacco to be clear) because the connected Hy-Vee sells it all so really its just lost funding for the park department but really thats beside the point.

The selection isnt all that great. Was looking for the cognac section but found none except the few selections behind the counter. Ended up going with a lower quality brandy

Usually my experience is very pleasant and the staff are usually extremely pleasant but after today I will be making sure I let people know how rude and unpleasant the manager Jen is. Really made me feel so uncomfortable with others now looking at me. I walk in coming from the gym next door as usual and she says nothing to me until I go to grab a 24.99 bottle of Jameson. Tells me I need to leave my bag at the counter which was fine until I said well maam the bottle Im grabbing is right here where you can see me without me having to turn the corner. She said well I dont know you and people steal I was extremely offended. I said well where would you like me to leave my custom made $150 bag with my $300 Michael Kors wallet and she said I could put it in the floor. Never have I been treated that way and I will be making sure everyone knows how rude she is because the lady in front of me had a bag (white woman) and she said nothing to her.Awful service!!!
