Went to the local store. Waco, Texas, AL the sales person was very nice and helpful UNTILL they received payment for all of our cabinets. We paid in full and was told that the cabinets would be in the next week. They were not in until the following week but that wasnt a big deal. We were told by AL that we needed to contact Danny, The local contractor that does the install and set up a time to get them installed. That was the only thing we were told. We contacted Danny, Who was amazing and got the install scheduled. Myself and my wife took off work to meet Danny for the install. We found out the morning of install that nobody from Cabinets to Go ever mentioned for us to schedule delivery of the order. We never was told anything about scheduling this. We prepaid for the delivery and everything was supposed to be set to go. Now after wasting a day off, AL from the store tells me that it was my responsibility to schedule the delivery. It would be very hard to schedule something that we knew nothing about. Al was very short and rude when I called him about this. It is very apparent that Cabinets to Go cares NOTHING about there customers after they receive the money. This has caused us to have to delay our move in by almost a week. We had to reschedule everything else to make room for the install. Very very disappointed and AL the salesman just blew me off. Buyer Beware, Just go to a cabinet shop and have them made. This store is a joke all the way around..
It’s been 2 months and they still have not fixed all the problems during the installation. We were without a kitchen for a whole month. We still have a cracked sink, a drawer that doesn’t open all the way. Cabinets that are cracked and also unstable. The wait on the repairs has been way too long. Overall, it’s been a terrible experience and it’s still ongoing
Find another cabinet place! The customer service associated with this business is absolutely awful. First of all, the cabinets we first ordered, we were told details about what crown molding we could get and other details but then later down the road, we were told it doesn’t come with that molding. Also, we did the measuring and we were not offered a service for the installer to come out and measure behind us just to be accurate. When we got our cabinets ordered, a date was set to install. They told us it would take 3 days, Monday - Wednesday. When the guys came to install (on Tuesday because weather prevented a Monday start), they didn’t have the cabinets with them. That was at 8:30 am. Had to drive 40 miles back to the store to go pick them up and didn’t show back up until 3:45 and left at 5pm. They show up the next day and tell us that they are missing a part that is necessary to continue putting up the top cabinets. When we originally did the plans, the sales associate told us specifically we would need 2 of that part but still only ordered 1. We also got our butcher block counter top in and it was damaged so they had to take it back. Going back to the missing part that wasn’t ordered, they charged us for that and didn’t even offer to give us credits after they did not have the job done in the days they stated and have been giving us the run around. The missing part needed to be ordered and so did the new butcher block. They stated it might take two weeks to come in. Fast forward to that Saturday morning, the part is magically available in their warehouse and they continue the cabinets. We decided not to utilize the light molding underneath because that was also explained poorly to us and how much of a gap would actually be between the top and bottom cabinets so we sent it back with the installer. Now the store wants to charge us a restocking fee. And also, when I called about the missing part and to inform him that that piece should have and would have been ordered if the installer was asked to come out to remeasure, the manager, Aaron, told me that that service is “for people who don’t know how to use a tape measure”. So on top of being rude as hell towards me with that comment on top of throughout the conversation, we have had a terrible experience with this company and would not recommend to anyone. Thankfully the install guy was nice and did a good job when he had all of the pieces necessary. Again, I would not recommend and would go through someone else for your cabinets.
We went to the location in Robinson, TX early March 2021 and ordered cabinets for total kitchen makeover. The salesperson told us 1 piece was on backorder but would be available mid April. I called few days before only to be told the item was now expected mid May but no one had called us about the delay. I called again mid May only to be told that now it would be end of May. My husband called few days ago and was told there was now 4 pieces on backorder and they did not know when any of them would be available! No one from this business EVER called us to give an update; we always had to call them. We cancelled order and will NEVER do business with them again. I honestly believe they were taking pieces from our order to fulfill other orders. This place is a perfect example of the phrase Buyer Beware!
A great, GREAT place to get your kitchen designed, beautiful cabinets, fantastic employees. Highly recommend if you are building new or remodeling. Easy to put together, perfect finish, no blemishes, just a great experience.
Aaron met with us for over 2 hours, designed our kitchen and came back with a fantastic price, installed with lifetime transferrable warranty. Looking forward to finalizing our sale and getting our cabinets in record quick time. Very professional and courteous.
My kinda place gotta go going to get ice cream. And come back
The most absolute worst experience I’ve encountered. They had a sale on their cabinets. You buy a lower cabinet and get the upper cabinet free. It took five months to complete. The manager at the time not once called me or explained there was a shortage of supply in the warehouse. Just beware! Do your research like I wish I had done. I could go on and on about how mistreated I felt. On the other hand the installer which I hired through them did excellent work. Wildwood Renovations was their name.
Checked with several other places in town. I made a stop and spoke to Charles Elliot. He took care of us and we got the best price in town. We left feeling confident in our decision with what we purchased. The best bang for your buck!!! Stop by and ask for Charles.
Good service.
Very limited selection of cabinets and colors. They had only 3 styles to choose from and none matched what I have already. Just wanted to find something similar to mine....
