They dont have a super large selection, but they do have a little bit of everything!! The staff is very nice and helpful. I was also pleasantly surprised to find a bag of dots Homestyle pretzels!!😁

Still growing and settling so benefit of the doubt, but I do assume that it will have more products and placement. I would love to see more lumber and or house rebuild items

I am so glad this store opened back up! It is so much easier to get feed for our animals close to home. I look forward to when they have more inventory.

I really used to love this store, the shelves are empty a lot of the time now. It has gotten better but my wife and I went there early black friday and were informed that some of the sale items were not even shipped to them. The personal there is polite, knowledgeable and very helpful to an extant but sounds like ordering and stocking is controlled by corporate.

Stock is still limited and the pricing displays are not on all products.

Nice product line, clean, well stocked, fair prices. Our first visit and really impressed. Well make it a point to come here a lot in the future.

This place is going out of business, I was unaware of this. There markdowns are minimal and there stock is pretty well depleted on some items. All your purchases are non- returnable, and they do not accept checks. Their prices werent exceptional.

Going out of business sale. Picked up a couple of good deals. Sad to see another business close its doors.

I prefer going to stock and field over Walmart. Their quality of inventory is far better than Walmarts and now it looks like thats all well have. Sorry to see you go.

We were just in this store, one of the very few we have shopped since this whole apparent pandemic started. We weren’t denied checkout because we did not have a mask on. I find it very disturbing and discriminating that you would kick out paying customers not even asking if we had a had a medical exemption.we will no longer be shopping here and would give this store a zero if that was an option.

Shame on this store. My daughter bought a coat on their 20% off sale. Got to work and realized they only deducted 10%. Called and talked to two people who agreed it was 20% and said to come in after work with the receipt and they would figure it out. She shows up and they had changed the sign and said they couldnt help her. Is this how they make their money?

Usually have gotten good service until today. 2 young men working both clueless with very specific direction to the product i wanted to buy in locked livestock case.While Id already spent nearly 200.00 in livestock feed and supplies anout 1000 on my cart i could hardly push. NO OFFERS FOR LOADING ASSISTANCE. PISS POOR SHOPPING EXPERIENCE TODAY

They should change the name again to OutOfStock+Field.People in other reviews seem to think this store was acquired or something. As far as I can tell, its still the exact same company. They simply changed the name for the retail stores. That said, I agree with the complaints that many things never seem to get restocked lately.I actually like this store quite a bit, and the prices are usually not terrible, but its a shame that this year they seem to have a lot of empty shelves and arent doing anything about it.I initially thought there were shortages due to the coronavirus, but at this point, that doesnt seem to be the reason. For firearms, yes, but otherwise there are plenty of things they simply arent restocking for some reason. Bulk hardware, lawnmower inner tubes, etc.Its not like the store is half empty, but its aggravating that literally all summer a number of things have remained missing with no apparent remedy in sight.

I live mid of S&F Rochelle and RK Peru. Prices are better at RK and better selection of feeds.

Still restocking the store, still over priced

I don’t know why I even bother going to this place. They never restock anything even when it’s completely out. Very frustrating when I know I bought the last of a product weeks ago and come back to see that it still hasn’t been stocked. Gloves? Definitely not stocked. Carpentry pouches? Definitely not stocked. Even when you let an employee know that you’re buying the last of a product on the shelf you can almost guarantee that it won’t be there when you come back.

Price marked up then discounted to look like a sale. Everything is not on discount as stated. Soon it will not matter.

It was great when it was Big R. Now that it’s a different name, they carry less stuff, and seem to be out of stock on things pretty regularly. Don’t waste your time on motor oil and auto filters there. The selection is terrible. They’ve been out of the dog food my buddy buys for over a month.

Great stop in! They have all the chicks in for spring time. Took all I had not to leave with a couple buff orpingtons or barred rocks. If only the fascists in Rockford would let me have chickens I would have. Go get some babies for me instead 10 out of 10, would window shop for chicks again

I dont get to the store as much as Id like too.There popcorn butter is so much better than anyone around. They are cheaper and size of things are better. I like there supplies of things. They helped me to my car and took the scooter back in for me. I just love this store.

Why bother being open if 90% of your shelves are empty. The fishing section is a joke as its empty shelves. The firearm area is just as bad. You say it was just a name change from Big R to STock and field? I say its more like shop elsewhere and dont waste your time here. I liked shopping here before too.

A mix of everything you need. Good selection of hardware and everyday items. A great place for do it yourself projects. Only thing I can down it for is sometimes the price can be high,but for the most part its fairly priced goods.

Great all around Store, everything from hardware to handguns (and ammo). Lots of pet food and pet products, you can bring your leashed dog with you in the store. Excellent working person clothing selection. Eclectic food section. Best price around for water softener salt.

Was my go-to store for practically everything until Stock and Field took over. Now it’s my last resort. Shelves are rarely re-stocked and staff are no longer helpful and friendly.

If I cant buy anything, then whats the point? What am I working towards?

It is pet friendly and they usually have what I want. I must add at a very reasonable price .

Changing a transmission on an import, chasing down all the parts needing to be replaced and walked in here. My hair was blown back by their hardware aisle, they had every fine thread metric bolt and odd sized o rings I needed. Ill be going here first next time.

Always surprised by what you find at Big R. I buy my coffee exclusively from Big R. They often have good sales on food and clothing. Associates are always helpful and kind.

Good store with a good selection. However that selection is high priced, well known name brands. You will get what you pay for, quality is top notch, but you will pay... staff is helpful and very courteous.

Employees were vary helpfully.

Waiting at the sporting good counter for 10 minutes, multiple associates walked passed me and another chatted about life with a customer.

Dont have a lot of the stuff I am usually looking for, or is more expensive than other competitors in the area. Only good thing really is the people that work up front. Most clerks in departments are rude or totally ignore you.

Good local place for all kinds of stuff. Compares to farm and fleet. A lot of the time beats them on price. Excellent hardware section.

Staff doesnt have a clue, which stems from no training from management. No one actually cares about costumers. Over all Id rather get teeth pulled at the dentist than shop there any longer.

We have never been to a Big R store before found it very nice deals. Although I was also looking for its called instapot and I didnt find one so that was a little bit of a letdown but other than that I would say its an awesome place...

Great great customer service! I drove from a hour away and got there at 8:03 pm and they were closed. A employee opened the door and still did my return. You dont see that any where. Now thats what I call customer service! Thank you to the lady that was off the clock and still did my return. Not only that great prices for name brand items! Like under Armour and lots more!
