Great store that had everything I need with great hours!
Yeah this is not a store. First he may or may not be available during open hours. Second you have to call with an appointment to purchase the item you want to buyin a retail store. He does not keep an inventory of or list of up-to-date pictures. The website link is down and the Facebook posts are a clear sign that this place is a storage unit for a Hoarder who doesnt want to sell his stuff.Understandable if you are not open to the public but you store should be listed as by appointment only, etc. This guys business plan is a clear joke. But dont believe me, read the other reviews that say the exact same thing. Again this is a review of a business, but what score can I give a business that is not open during the hours it is listed as open, especially when the website domain is no longer available.Update: After reviewing the owners comments, I do not think this store is an actual business because no business owner would be that rude. Additionally, he does not understand the word triggered.I will give an example: A business owner gets triggered and leaves nasty comments when customers or potential customers leave reviews of thier interaction(s) and/or lack of provided information. Such as when a user writes that this store is nothing more than an a lazy wannabe ebay seller or His personal cleptomania is hindering his ability to make a sale.
I got a table from here a few years ago that I LOVE! i have always enjoyed walking around your store and always find something that makes me smile . I also appreciate your acknowledgement of the COVID 19 pandemic and love your responses
In the world that we presently live in, kindness should be the way we interact with anyone that we encounter. With that being said, Bruce was the furthest from this and my only interaction was on a short phone call inquiring about hours of operation. If you are considering doing business with Bruce I would highly discourage it.Kindness costs nothing.
Truly enjoyed the owner responses to the low star reviews. Gives me Ron Swanson vibes. Never been here but even if I tried I doubt I’ll make it when it’s open. :)
Bruce was extremely rude and disrespectful. I am never shopping here, and I suggest you do the same. I wish there was a way to give less stars. Especially during a pandemic, this level of malignity is extremely unacceptable.
This place used to be a small grocery market back in the 60s-70s. I enjoyed walking to it as a kid from our home on Harvard St. Too bad its not useful anymore...
Love your reply’s. Do you. Don’t give a **** what they say. Keep up the hustle.
Apparently a legitimate business; the storefront is always enticing, and smack-dab in the right place for it; but sadly its all in vain as its for stor-age only, and closed to the public, says the owner. 3 stars; only for the fact that Im probably not alone in wanting this place to be something that its not. Please disregard any things you might see outside, or while peering in, lights on periodically, music blaring, disco ball, etc.
I hope all of these one star reviews entice you to make the business even more exclusive. It’s your business, run it how you want, they’re just window shoppers anyway.
I keep going by this place, looks like it might have nice things. But its never open. our hours are as odd as our items is a cute way of saying we dont need you to shop here. And the store seems to still be in business? Maybe? So maybe it works, but I go by at all hours on different days and its never open. I hate to use the meme, but picture Philip Fry with a fist full of cash shouting shut up and take my money, but, again, I guess they dont need it. *shrug*
The object I received turned out to be useful. I was pretty upset.
Very helpful with locating what I was looking for
Never seems to be open.Response to owner -Novel approach - hope that works for you-I’ve stopped by numerous times and am done going out of my way to try catching up with you- Sorry....
Tried to stop by there one day to check it out when Google said they were open, but they were closed. Checked their website for the store hours, found nothing. Went to their Facebook, then Instagram. Found they would be be open again in the next week. Waited for that Thursday when they would be open, checked Google. Google said they were still closed. Waited another week. Still closed. Checked their website again, checked their Instagram again. And then found somewhere tucked away on the site that theyre open by appointment only. Yelp says theyre open on the weekend. No idea what the truth is and at this point unwilling to find out. If more information was put on their website instead of in a giant maze of social media sites, I would have known to give up ahead of time and just go on Craigslist for a better sales experience.
