Very pleased with Mercedes except for the Diagnostic fee. I own an X5 from BMW Rochester and a CLS 400 from Mercedes Rochester. We originally leased the CLS and I bought it off the lease and paid for it to be certified and bought the extended warranty. The CLS has less than 30,000 miles and we do all service through West Herr. When I came home last Thursday to a dead car, we used roadside assistance in which they could not start the vehicle in which they brought it your location. Rather than start with we are sorry something is wrong with your vehicle, the first response was it is a $370 diagnostic fee to look at the car. In all honesty I was shocked and disappointed as this has literally been my only service issues and rather than taking car of it, you charged me $750 for a new battery, the diagnostic fee and to plug a slow leak in the driver’s side rear tire. Essentially $0 of what my certification and extended warranty payments went to this experience. To me the plug fee and battery fee would have been reasonable. To jab me with the diagnostic fee for what any reasonable person would have assumed was a dead battery felt like I was being taken advantage of. You asked. I offered. Love the car. Not happy with the diagnostic fee for a certified car under warranty.
Jeremy, Dave, Fredrick and the MB team provided excellent advisement on the features of the wide swath of choices available at their location. Ultimately chose the newly updated GLC300 for the wife. Happy wife - happy life. These gentlemen helped put me in that space. Thanks guys.

It took several weeks to obtain a service appt.Service staff excellent and employed frequent communication by text.The price for auto repair at MB was comparable to a well known independent auto repair shop.
I had an excellent experience from the moment I called about my GLE to when I picked it up yesterday. My salesperson Jeremy had everything ready for my review and signatures, Steve walked me through the maintenance plan and various other protection plans and Kyle walked me through all of the features and options (and there are a lot) on my car. Buying a vehicle during a pandemic and microchip shortage made this a unique experience for me. Mercedes-Benz of Rochester made it quite enjoyable. Went for a standard Service A. Was treated fairly and the wait time was just as expected. Around an hour or so. Paid a little more than I thought I would but it is worth it for the peace of mind.
Brought 2011 C300 in for a recall on the airbags. Appointment was easy to schedule. Service was done timely and car was washed and vacuumed when I picked it up. Everyone was professional and friendly.
Needed to have new keys to replace and programed as old key(s) for 2008 R350 failed causing car alarm to sound off randomly. They deactivated the alarm horn until new keys arrived . Now all is fine.. and quiet!

Every interaction Ive had with Mercedes of Rochester has exceed my expectations, in light of my most recent service visit I was greeted politely and professionally by every employee I encountered. My meeting with the service advisor, Ms Subject was relaxing and informative, as she addressed my concerns gave me information on any updates and politely informed me of my lapse of inspection. Then I was greeted by the mechanic, Rob who laid out his plan of attack along with advising me of what was needed and what would be advantageous to be preformed on a future visit. Called to schedule service appointment the scheduler asked if I needed a loaner car. I didn’t ask for one they offered it. I arrived and 30 minutes later I was sent on a ride to Hertz rental where all of my personal information and credit card was requested. They then set me up in a Hyundai which smelled of cigarette smoke and was lacking fuel. Although I was told the car was freshly cleaned and fueled. I then picked up my car which was in perfectly good running condition for a normal service to then leave with my car vibrating in the rear. While I am not normally a conspiracy theorist I do see some consistency in other posts where a car was brought in and came out with other problems. Between the horrible experience of being sent to a rental company to now a new problem on my car I am excited to trade this car in and move away from Mercedes. If Mercedes is “the best or nothing.” I think nothing wins!! Do yourself a favor go to Dorschel our other car is a Lexus. Amazing service fair prices and yep they actually give you a loaner car on the spot that doesn’t smell!

Purchased a used 2018 GMC Acadia Denali, Drove for 31minutes on the highway. The car started pulsating and was smoking around the right front end. Stopped the car and checked the area and found the right front tire rotor very hot and smoking, Called dealer and stated our issue. They wanted us to drive it back which we wouldnt do it, concerned about possible additional damage. Very poor communication from dealer.They said that they would send us a tow truck.. We waited for at least an 1 1/2 hr. The never kept us informed until we contacted the dealership. Found out then that our salesman was bringing us a car, which we found out after we called the salesman. Rear rotors were missed during the initial UCI. After we had the initial problems, the dealer replaced the the 4warped rotors. 1 1/2 weeks after our dealer WARRANTY the pulsation and smoke on front wheel occurred again. Had all the rotors, pads and calipers inspected in our hometown. The car was taken to a service garage, they inspected all the rotors, pads, and calipers were inspected. The right front caliper needed to be replaced. Overall, unsatisfied with this dealer

The dealership offers the best service experience around. It’s twice as far away as the dealer where I live but I’d rather go the extra distance for the level of service offered. Always have appointments available, loaner vehicles, and even valet service. I’d highly recommend the dealership !

Unlike Romano Syracuse Dealership, this Rochester dealership do not play games. I met Steve (service technician) and he was straight forward and honest. I pray that he gets promoted to a higher position someday. They do not recommend anything that is not needed. They will diagnose, go straight to the problem and fix it. I have never met a Mbenz dealership as truthful as this one. All the employees are classy. I towed my car from Syracuse to Rochester because I did not trust the Romano dealership. Keep up the good work guys!!!

Great service advisor, communicated very well, only negative thing other than price was when I got in the car the seat had been moved and when I went to readjust I noticed that the controls were now loose on the side panel ( maybe a broken clip?) but other than that it was a good experience.

I took my car here to be serviced for an abnormal noise when decelerating. They discovered a recall and serviced my vehicle while throwing in a free alignment. Ultimately they said the noise was due to the tires and if I want my car to be show room new, new tires would be recommended but certainly not needed at this point. I was relieved that they were honest, thorough and werent trying to find problem that didnt exist to make money. This experience felt customer friendly and I left me feeling very satisfied. I would recommend this dealership to friends and family. Big thanks to Stephen and his team.

I’d never thought I’d buy a Honda from a Mercedes dealer.There was a 2015 Honda Accord for sale there that got sold when I was ready to buy, but there was another one at another west herr dealer that’s cheaper and has more features but still the same year. So I went with that one. Although the one that was sold was in better shape, but the one I bought was perfectly in my price range and still in good condition. I wasn’t happier with any other car I looked at than the 2013-17 Honda Accord V6 during my time of car shopping. The features, the quality, and the ride just blows my mind. The car is fast too.It’s been a week since I’ve bought the car and I haven’t regret a single thing. I’m happy with my purchase. Again, thanks to those two at west herr Mercedes!
