She is very responsive and will respond to texts at all hours if she is awake/free. She has been able to create the perfect images for us. Safety and comfort were obviously her first objective during the newborn session. The prints can be expensive, but you get what you pay for and there is no minimum required. I googled Rochester, MN newborn and maternity photographers and came across Erin Young’s Photography. I was blown away by the artistry and creativity of her work. Then I saw that she has 20 years of experience and knew she was someone I wanted to have capture this time in my family’s lives. I submitted an email to her page hoping someone would message me back and she messaged me back within 24 hours to set up a consultation. When I met her, she was very positive and had understood my husband and I’s vision for our newborn shoot. I wasn’t planning on doing a maternity shoot but she incorporated a date to capture that time of my life. I am so grateful she offered the maternity session.Then it was time for the newborn session and I was anxious and how my baby would tolerate being photographed. I came into the studio and the room was warm (like newborns prefer), there were baby noise machines, a fully stocked changing table, and refreshments for me and my husband. Erin was great at calming my baby for her photos that I was able to relax during the session. I enjoyed watching my daughter be photographed instead of stressing about keeping her calm. Erin gave us a gift box after the session with a beautiful baby outfit, diapers, and things for me as a new mom which I deeply appreciated.Then at our review session for all the photos, I was blown away of the pictures she captured and could barely pick 20 out of 88 photos to take home. The photos were beautiful. She offers professional photo development services which help preserve the art for years to come. The photographs are developed with quality in mind.I highly recommend Erin Young Photography for your newborn, maternity, family, and really any photo session. I plan on coming back for more photos.

Erin is a phenomenal photographer, and we loved working with her for our 2nd child’s newborn photo session. We have worked with several different professional photographers in the past, including a few here in Rochester, and in our opinion Erin is the best we have worked with. Erin did a WONDERFUL job photographing our precious little peanut! From the very beginning of preparing for the shoot all the way through to the ordering appointment Erin was outstanding. She guided me on what outfits I should look at for the style I was going for and gave me tips on foods I should eat to make sure not to upset my little ones belly and make him sleepy for the shoot. She went quick and was super great at posing us during the family shots which was fabulous cause momma got toasty in the cozy warm studio meant for babies. After the family shots, my husband and I were able to take some time to ourselves and REST! Because if you’re a new mom, you know the one thing you don’t get enough of is rest and it was fantastic! She was very efficient during the ordering appointment. We only had so much time during nap time to customize our album wall portrait and we fit it in just in time. I can’t wait to see the finished products and show them off for years to come. I would recommend Erin over and over again to anyone looking for newborn portraits.

My husband and I got our sons newborn photos done by Erin and I wish I could describe how incredible the experience was.
