This place is great! Amazing selection and worth the trip! The owner Brad was on the floor meeting and greeting customers and took the time to talk to talk shop.

First time in the newer location in Rochester. The new store looks great other than the selection of merchandise. There is less than half the selection and unfortunately the service has went downhill at least my service the other day. I went in with a few questions and most everything I asked the answers given were I cant answer that, if you want answers look it up on our website. Then asked price on preorder items that I was going to order and was told well it doesnt get released till this date. I asked again the price and told again it doesnt matter its released this date. Made me feel my money wasnt good enough. The employee was short with me and didnt want to help with a majority of my questions. Then when another customer asked about merchandise that the employee liked he was happy to talk to them. My experience was not a friendly service and unfortunately I do not think I will return.

Action figures! Took me back to my childhood and had great service while I looked at the huge inventory of nostalgia. The absolute only negative is the difficult to access parking lot. Not their fault, but be ready to navigate without GoogleMaps help

All kinds of nerds and geeks can find something to enjoy here. My girlfriend and I spent a few hours looking at MTG cards, and barely scratched the surface of their stock.The staff are friendly and very helpful. The facility is clean and well organized. There is ample space for both individuals to enjoy themselves, and groups of people to pull up to a table and play dungeons and dragons or Warhammer 40K.Would absolutely be one of the first places I recommend to anyone in the area looking for a comic book shop, card shop (Yugioh and Magic alike), or generally nerdy memorabilia and models.

I was impressed by the size of this place and the variety of stuff. Mint on card Computer Warriors toys?! Just amazing. Check it out if you can.

This is a great place to find rare, old games, toys and comics. I love the computers and arcade games in the back. Plenty of space to meet friends and play together. This is definitely something the city of Rochester needs.

Awesome store and amazing staff. Even with the pandemic going on they continue to work through it with online sales and strict guidelines when entering the stores. Their facebook sales have been a lifesaver during the pandemic and will go above and beyond for their Ive known them for a few years now and their store is a must stop in the city of rochester.They are my go to online place for comics and toys.

Great selection, nice layout, and staff was courteous and extremely helpful! Made for a pleasant shopping experience searching for a birthday gift for my youngest teenage nephew. Kudos to NerdinOut - Ill be back for gifts in the future!

This is an amazing store with just about everything you could need & want. The workers/owners are always super friendly and helpful and its one of the very few stores that dont charge outrageous prices due to the current market. Definitely recommend!

Many items are incredibly overpriced - though in at least one instance they seemed willing to price match (monopoly listed $15-20 more than Target for exact SKU / not a collectable out of print, etc)Beautiful new location, lots of space and inventory. Staff always seem mostly happy / friendly.

NerdinOut is one of my favorite places to go when Im in Rochester. They have a great selection of so many different things and the staff are always fantastic. Their prices are more than fair and items are always stocked. Ive never been disappointed when I visit!

My girlfriend and I have been chomping at the bit to play some actual MGT and this place has the greatest set up for it. Plenty of open space and precautions for our covid world. The owner Jake even sat down and played with us. He was super great and patient with my girlfriend who was returning to magic and was slow at remembering how to play, and didn’t get salty when he got out due to infect. 11/10 will go again. Great environment for new players and relaxed setting.

My grandson wanted his first grade completion celebration to include a trip to the store for Pokémon cards, I refuse to go to the big box stores and found this gem of a store quite by accident. The manager was so friendly, answered all our questions, and showed us all she had to offer in Pokémon goodies. Truly an amazing experience for this gramma and her 7 year old Pokémon fan. Kudos to the store manager...we will be back!

Sam was great. She was willing to help out and has a great personality. If you are looking for collectable toys or newer comic books, this is the place to go. Id love it if they were to expand the TTRPG section. They do have a couple D&D books and older (2nd edition) modules, they also have quite a few Star Wars RPG books, there are also some magic cards. Overall my experience was great, Im just more of a TTRPG player. Oh, and we found a Soundwave action figure our son has been looking for, which is what got the 5 stars.

I am really glad found this store. Even though they are in Minnesota and I am in California, the shopping experience with them is awesome. Over the last month I have purchased multiple TMNT sets: party tube, killer bee, pogo copter and a few others. They make their store accessible to anyone with weekly live streams, which makes me feel I am shopping in store. They ship all purchases safe and packed to protect your purchase. Great store and great staff. If you live in MN, go check them out, if not no problem follow them on facebook, glad I did.

Masks are required to enter but one of the two staff working had their’s hanging from one ear not covering their mouth or nose. The final straw was when they started to cough without covering their mouth. I was going to make a purchase, but wanted to get out of there as soon as possible when I saw this.In response to Owner comments:I was merely providing my own personal experience at your business. I didn’t walk into your store planning to write a negative review. In fact, I decided to visit in order to support a local small business because of how hard hit many have been due to Covid-19.I’m a little put off at how defensive you are being given the sensitivity and seriousness of the pandemic. If any person is coughing without a mask on right now, for any reason, it’s uncomfortable. (What if the employee who is coughing is asymptotic?) According to your speculation of said employee coughing was from eating/drinking, my question is why are employees eating and drinking at the check out counter, where there is high traffic?If you feel I am being unfair, I’d gladly come back to shop at your store and write another review about that experience, once I know that your business follows health and safety guidelines that you claim to. I think it is an overreaction to be upset and accusatory when someone tells others what they saw and how it affected their personal experience at your establishment.

Good selection of comics

Staff was super cool and friendly, very good pricing on cards, they got yugioh, pokemon, and magic, and lots of different figures from DC to anime figures. lots of different games from console games and board games, had a nice spot for kids to sit and also got a place for tcg players to sit. there is also a spot in the corner of the store for injustice

We drove 3hrs to visit! They did not disappoint! Other businesses could learn something about customer service from this crew! Quite possibly my absolute favorite store on the planet.

This place is awesome! It has something for everyone. Old comics, new comics, action figures, video games, arcade games, and more! A nerds paradise! People who work here are friendly and take time to converse. They offer trades too which guarantees theres always new stuff coming in. One of my favorite stores in Rochester! Highly recommend.

We go here a few times a month to check out what’s new. The staff is always really nice and helpful. I have bought about 10 action figures here for my son, overall fair pricing. My fiancé isn’t even into this kind of stuff and she enjoys going and looking through things like the hot wheels for my son. They have a lot of different things that are fun to check out, worth the stop.

This is the biggest cleanest most well organized game store I have been to. They have board games, video games, deck building games, and action figures, not to mention on site group interactive games (laser tag) and free arcade games.

I had a very positive experience selling serval boxes from my comic book collection.

This place a lot of space to move around and a lot to look at. Great variety. They had a few activities for the kids like a small trampoline and some toys to play with. This was very appreciated with my 4 year old that likes to touch everything. It allowed us to shop a little more at ease to focus on what we were looking at. They were also very friendly and knowledgeable.

Stopped in on our way through town. Nice shop, lots of categories of toys/comics. I liked there was a kid section. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

They sell toys at eBay prices. They never bundle deals. The toys are old and are comparable to a old yard sale with ebay prices. Brand new toys that you can find on any other site and they hike it 20% higher then everywhere else. For example Hydra 2pk charging $50 when amazon is cheeper, something aint right. Do your homework before buying anything from this place. Theyre into scalping you not hooking you up. All pre orders are higher then BBTS, entertainment earth, megalopolis, and many others. Ive seen the owner at Target several times and he has it with the stock boys. Wonder why the Target NECA section is always bare in Rochester MN? Well the owner has a direct contact with the vendors. Its a joke, dont support this store.

Tactical laser tag was tons of fun & very reasonably priced. There are tons of places to hide out to surprise your enemies. It is fun even with just 2 people. We will be back!

I really enjoyed the store. The gentleman was very helpful and pointed us in the specific direction that we were searching for. We left with a dinosaur game that my son will enjoy for christmas. I recommend going and checking this place out!

It will give you that nostalgic feel when you walk in and see the retro video games they have in-stock or the vintage Transformers action figures. Get place for the nerd culture

First visit since the move.. so much space! Almost intimidating, but I can see it helping when theres a CCG tournament and people shopping.The staff is as pleasant to work with as the old location, and the parkings decent.The inventory has expanded to match the space, including some Babylon 5 figures and other happy memories.

This place is awesome they got some amazing retro stuff back when I was a kid their staff is Uber friendly clean environment I recommend this place over the Machine Shed any day and I have a lifetime pass to that place had I dont go there anymore

Have gone in a couple of times and today took my friends to play board games there for the first time. As always we were we we greeted and asked if we needed help with anything. A very calm and inviting atmosphere for my friends and I. Will keep comming back !!!
