Could not say enough good things about LyteSpeed. After the initial fee for Emergency Service (which was very reasonable), Tom followed up three or four times to make sure everything was working properly, and when it wasnt, he went above and beyond to remedy the issue at no additional cost. Will never go anywhere else for my small businesss IT needs.

This place is amazing. The staff and their whole business model is above and beyond. Highly recommend for all your business IT needs.

This was a good and honest local computer shop for all customers for years. However, they do not serve residential consumers anymore. Instead telling their many former customers that on the headline of their new website, they waste customers time putting them through a trap-door where they are told a story about an evolving computer business and then finally told that they are no longer welcome. TELL EVERYONE WHO YOU SERVE IN YOUR AD HEADLINE!It now appears LyteSpeed has amended and changed their website informing customers they now only serve businesses. Good decision.

I have been to LyteSpeed on multiple occasions and they have been so professional, responsive and for the price. I miss them being in Greece but I will be traveling to their new location whenever I need computer help. I have recommended them to countless people, I promise if they were not a good value and a good place I would not send people to them.

Ever tried to make a living selling retail solutions in Rochester NY against competitors that, because of volume, leverage that discount to the Nth degree? Fortunately, business cannot grow without healthy (read 15%-20%) gross margin. When customers consistently shop by cost, instead of value, LyteSpeed possessed the intelligence to understand their real choice; morph or die.What they have done is simply to be applauded. They have focused their considerable talent, value and moxie to a new audience. Moan if it makes you feel better, but there is a new Bull in the lean pickings of Rochesters existing Business Solutions marketplace. If I were a small Professional Services organization I would beat a path to their door. Quick, as in yesterday.

I originally bought a prebuilt PC and eventually bought parts overtime for a complete upgrade. I was to nervous to put the PC together myself and went here. Literally so accommodating. Staff were very helpful, put my PC together for me and made the cable management look amazing. I’ve been here a few times and the staff were always awesome. I moved to Buffalo and wish I could take them with me since my gf now has a bunch of parts for her build but there’s no place out here I could find to do for her what I needed done. Well gonna have to take a trip back I suppose!

Im so said, I called today October 24 2020 with a retail question and the receptionist said that they no longer are doing retail sales. The one place that had or could get what I wanted or needed and, could trust their advice. I had a suspicion this might happen. The new location looks to me more like an office than retail and you have no access to any showroom. Well I hope that the business that their doing now is good. Im going to miss buying my pc stuff there.

Came out the same day to install a new printer

Like many others I tried my hand at building a PC during the pandemic. The computer I built didnt work at all. LyteSpeed individually test each individual component to find the issue (bad motherboard) and installed a replacement quickly and for a very reasonable price. These guys are the real deal- I highly recommend them.

I had Lytespeed Computers build me a desk top computer in August of 2017. It was a great price, a better case and was still comparable to what the big blue box had to offer. I had a problem with Firefox a few weeks ago where Firefox had been blocked from accessing my graphics hardware. I tried some things to no avail. Then I remembered I had been given Dave the owners email so, I wrote Dave a quick email to see if he had any knowledge of the problem. And if I could bring the PC in to get it fixed. Instead he wrote me back with some things to try and it worked. Try and get that kind of service from the big blue box! Dave...THANKS!!!!

Very disappointing. They were great when they were in Stoneridge. The IT guy from my old job mentioned that their servers were from Lytespeed and are highly recommended. A few years ago, they were very professional and helpful. On my new PC, I mentioned that I wanted a new power supply and possibly a new Motherboard. The receptionist (I felt like I was in a rude Dr office) was increasingly rude everytime she had to contact someone there to answer a question . The gentleman said we need to do a diagnostic. I dont want a diagnosis, I want a new power supply. I know more than the average person tech wise. They said that it would be 7-10 days. I was going to elaborate further, but I decided against it. The 2 stars are from the Stoneridge days. I have recommended them in the past, but no longer. I realize with the pandemic, times are different, however, I was hoping professionalism still existed there. I will be looking elsewhere.Edit-November 2020:I refuse to get in a pissing contest with the owner, (and this will be the last time I comment on this subject) but I wanted to add that I DID have my PSU AND motherboard replaced and now my gaming PC works perfectly. Both components were recommended and replaced by Ryan at Crossroads IT L.L.C. in downtown Rochester (Corsair 850w PSU and Asrock x570M motherboard). Unlike Lytespeed, Ryan treated me with respect and did not treat me like I was stupid. I never ASKED for a diagnosis and never got one. He did the work I asked of him. As it turns out, Lytespeed no longer deals with the Retail side of things. Just as well with that attitude.

The LyteSpeed team is amazing! My laptop stopped working properly after a mandatory Windows update just after I had to start working from home. I called and explained my predicament. Not only did LyteSpeed get me back up and working within the same day, the made it possible for me to afford their services which I was worried might not be possible!Thank you!!!!!

Have purchased 2 computers from them and their help and advice has been the best. When I have had an occasional problem, they have been very accommodating and professional and resolved any issues promptly and completely. Highly recommend for purchase and service.

Told me to maybe bring in my PC but they are constantly backlogged and itll most assuredly sit on their bench for 2 weeks, or a minimum of 10 business days until a person might diagnose it. Maybe. Went with an old computer with a failing hard drive. Explained they could fix it but advised us that the cost would warrant looking at a new computer. Very happy with the new computer which was reasonably priced. Very knowledgeable staff. Is a family owned & run business. I highly recommend them.

My PC wouldnt boot up, I went into bezerk mode. The manager here (I think his name is John) got right to work on my PC. They charged me a nominal fee to put me at the front of the line. They were very helpful, courteous and professional. And they got me back up and running within just a few hours! HIGHLY RECOMMEND A+++++

From initial contact to picking up my computer, my experience was exceptional. A diagnostic was run on my computer, and I was called the next day, told what the problem was and given a flat fee for fixing it. The price was reasonable. That being said, when I went to pick up my computer, the problem was able to be solved in a shorter time span than anticipated and the price was less than quoted! The staff were friendly and informative. I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you.

My OS corrupted and I was unable to use many features of my desktop at work. I worked primarily with David, who was wonderful. He was polite, professional and knowledgeable. We had some snafus, not their fault, but the true test of a business is how they treat you when theres a problem. Id definitely recommend and use Lytespeed again. Nice, open and bright location also. Thanks again - though I hope not to need repair services again anytime soon. ;)

They didnt have to bundle my cables so nicely. They didnt have to carry my rig to my car for me. They didnt have to know me by name when I came in or called...but they did.These are people you can and should trust with your hardware, software, baby (okay, they dont specialize in human babies, but you get my point.)These are your Ghostbusters for spooky codes or weird reboot screens or motherboard beeps that haunt you in the night.These are the guys ready to debug you.If you have computer trouble, you know who to call. First: I do recommend them.Ive taken a number of personal computers to them for service, and have had a good experience every time. On the odd occasion where something isnt fixed the first time, they go out of their way to make sure that theres no reason to return it a second time.

My job takes me out of town quite frequently. So I did not have time torepair my sons computer. I previously took one of my sons other computer to another repair shop in town and they held on to his computer for close to a month without giving me a status and said it was not their fault if the manufacturer did not get back to them on part availability. I just warned my friends to stay away from them. however, Lytespeed not only charged a reasonable diagnostic fee, but a good price for repair and parts and repaired it when they said they would. I am very happy and so is my son. I will go back and tell my friends. Furthermore the other place charged for the diagnostic even though there were no repairs and theyheld the machine for almost a month. I did not argue and I did not review their site because it would not have been very nice. I sure when they look at the stellar review from this site. they will see my name and miss the dollars they could have made by doing it correctly. I win! Furthermore I just may buy a PC from Lytespeed this week! So take that other PC repair shop. I want to say their name so bad, but I will be nice. :> Nevertheless, I honestly cannot evaluate the technical competence of the other PC shop because I took my machine back before they could repair it. I figured that if they did not have the courtesy to give me a status call after 1 month, do i want these guys servicing my machine?Heck no. Again, take your machine to Lytespeed for repairs. Always have brought our computer there when I needed them looked at. I thought they were fair priced and honest. I went to use the Penfield location and it is no longer there, so that is a disappointment, cause to travel to Ridge Rd from Macedon is a pain!

Lytespeed came highly recommended to me so I bought a computer there last summer. They helped a great deal getting me started as I am not too techy and a new system was difficult for me. Today my security would not update and was having problems with Libre Office. I was lucky to catch owner Dave when I took it in and he was free to help. They were amazing. I bought certain components from Amazon to design a top of the line gaming rig, which included an i7-7700 intel chip, a 1080ti GPU, 32 GB of Ram, and more. John, who works there, not only helped put it all together, he also gave me advice and recommendations that would help better my gaming experience. He put with all my questions (I called him numerous times on the phone). He always treated me withe respect and courtesy. He helped grab the components from my mini-van and drop them back off to me when the task was completed. He gave free toys to my children. And was even excited at seeing my GPU and having the chance to install it! Knowing he takes pleasure in computers meant a lot! Their prices are very reasonable and understandable. The service is excellent. And the staff is great. If you are interested in setting up a gaming rig (or anything else at that matter), try LyteSpeed computers. I highly recommend them.

One of the biggest scammers ever. They told me I would have my computer fixed $79 and went to pick it up they told me about additional repairs it needed. I ended up paying almost double the price. Very shady people especially the tech Todd which is a con artist. Go to a reputable place and stay away from these jerks.

I brought a $2k laptop into lytespeed that was recently attempted to be repaired by another company who failed miserably and changed me upwards of $300 for nothing and lytespeed’s crafty technicians found the problem and repaired it for a price that made me feel guilty after the last attempt. I wanted a new hi speed supper graphics computer for my old Siemens NX 7.5 Cad program.The problem was no one, not even Siemens knew if it could be taken from its original XP operating systemand run on Windows 10. Lyte Speed made it happen, they also spent time on the phone with Siemensstraightening out a licensing issue for me. Dave Meyer the owner was bound and determined to deliver a good productand he did. The NX 7.5 Cad program is now running supper fast with beautiful graphics, I couldn’t be happier.

I have sent in my lap top in two different times and they resolved my issues I was having with my laptop I had a great experience, a little expensive but I’m overall a happy customer.

I have taken several computers to lytespeed on w.ridge and each time has been a positive experience. they will diagnose the problem and will tell you if teh computer is fixable, they do not try to sell you something you dont need, and will recycle the computer if it is beyond hope or too expensive to fix. they are also very quick (hence the lytespeed name). i have always been impressed and will take my compter problems to them in the future
