Friendly staff. Great items. Worth taking a look.
Love thisbadorable store! We got a great vintage sewing machine here for an affordable price that sews like a DREAM
This is wonderful place to find fabric and all incidentals for sewing/knitting or just asking questions. Friendly helpful, knowledgable people.
Its always such a joy to shop at SewGreen. Not only do I get to pick up yarn and fabric for incredibly cheap prices, I get to discover new fibers, get inspired for new projects, keep materials out of landfills, donate the stuff in my stash that Im never going to use, and contribute to a fantastic community resource. Their COVID precautions have been on point and their website is super easy to navigate for online purchases or setting up in-person shopping appointments. Now, if there was only an extra 5 hours in the day to actually finish all these works in progress...
These folks want you to keep sewing!
Good place for small projects.
Great shop for fabrics, notions and the unexpected. Great prices and great resources.
Best place to buy almost everything a crafter can want. The people are the best I just love them and they get 12 stars from meLove Ms. Wanda
This place and the people that run it are fabulous. Affordable (huge understatement) fabric and notions and such; interesting, irresistible machines; wonderful educational lineup and open hours; personal, patient and friendly engagement with all staff; such a generous, giving idea... This place is exceedingly positive, satisfying, useful, appreciated, and just great. I cant say enough good things about all aspects of this lovely gem!!

The BEST PLACE EVER to have your old sewing machine run like new again. These people know their stuff! They are the sweetest bunch of ladies to work with. And Georgia is so sweet & kind & she goes beyond that extra mile to do all she can for you! This store is a hidden GEM in the Rochester area! #1 in my book!!!!

This place is wonderful. Great place to buy fabric, yarn, and notions, and an even better place to learn to sew. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I took the sewing machine 101 course and walked away with a new pillow and a sense of accomplishment.
Brenda LyonsIf you have creative juices that you want to tap into, then Sew Green is where you need to be. From novice to expert you can learn something new or finish a project thats been calling at you. You can work independently or in a grp. The price is right and the people are kind. Donuts and coffee are across the street. What more can you ask for. Stop by and check it out.
This is a great little store! I could spend hours in here accumulating patterns, fabrics, trims, accessories, yarn, and books. Its a remnant store, so dont expect a wide selection or whole bolts, but do expect to find some interesting and exotic items at a very sweet price. The owner is super friendly and can walk you through just about any sewing machine or serger. 10/10 would live there if I didnt have projects that need to be finished.
Come down in buy some fabric at good price. They volunteer that work thereto learn how to see and also can purchase see machine $25.00 great price.
Its always fun to go into the store. Everyone is so helpful. I always find interesting fabric.
Dont hesitate. Just visit. Great place. Great mission and Georgia is a GEM.

Very helpful and well priced. Way better than chains
A wonderful place to learn a new skill like sewing, crochet and other skills. Friendly people and lots of affordable material, yarn and more. Everthing is donated and a true blessing to the neighborhood.
This is a nice little place to pick up a variety of items relating to sewing, crochet, knitting and more. It also has classes!
I accidentally gave them a 2 star review. Theyre really a 10 star establishment, but I cant put more than 5. Ive volunteered here in the past and theyre a fantastic establishment that dedicates a lot of time to making sure that they sell the best supplies and reach as many people as they can.Georgia and Patty are extremely helpful whenever we are in, and always offer great advice on sewing knitting projects.
