Extremely helpful from the moment you walk in the door! This was an anniversary gift for my husband and I and we had been searching for months. It was way too difficult to figure the dimensions online for all of the different pieces we had been looking at. I walked in, described what I was searching for, and was able to to find exactly what my husband and I were hoping for in about 20 minutes. Excellent service!

Very rarely do I post reviews, in fact almost never, but I need to now because in my 67 years I have never had such wonderful customer care as I have had with Tuthill Lighting and it’s owner, Bruce Bellwood.I bought two ceiling fans a few weeks ago and one of the fans needed a few parts replaced. Bruce immediately made many calls to locate the parts I needed and had them shipped to me ASAP.Most of the time these days, after you make your purchase, you’re completely on your own. Not with Bruce!! He’s there to help during AND after the sale. You can tell there’s a great deal of pride in Bruce’s philosophy of how to treat his customers and conduct business.The big box stores will never give you the personal touch a locally owned and run boutique store can. It’s not only the personal touch that’s great about Tuthill, the store is packed with beautiful floor and table lamps, ceiling fans, wall lights, etc.Now for the best part - when my replacement parts came, I called Bruce to ask for a recommendation for an installer. Bruce said he didn’t want me to incur another cost to install the new parts, so he said HE would come out, personally, to work on the fan at no charge, and I live about 25 miles from his store. Now, who does that?!Well done Tuthill Lighting!!

Reading the reviews, I figure, how good can service be at a lamp store? You pick out your lamp, pay, and leave. I was very wrong. The nice man who helped us knows everything about lighting, and can help you really change your house. I had no idea something as simple as the right kind of fixture could totally transform a room. And this is the guy you want to learn about it from. Hes knowledgeable, kind, and straightforward, and hed rather have you end up with the right product for your home than make a quick buck.

I was on a long and fruitless internet-wide search for just the right light for our foyer when my 14-year-old daughter said I should shop Tuthill. Clearly the kid is brilliant, as I found just what I needed on the Tuthill site. Bruce kindly took my order over the phone, and given that its COVID times, he arranged for delivery directly to my home. Talk about service!

Exceptional Customer Service!! That is what I received by going to Tuthill Lighting. Bruce understands and is 100% committed to an exceptional experience when you walk in the door.I purchased some under cabinet lights about 10 years ago from another local company. The other company does not sell that product any more, but Tuthill does. I went there seeking to purchase a couple LED strips since they seemed to filing intermittently. Instead of trying to make a quick sale, Bruce helped me diagnose the issue, gave me some product to test at home. After testing the products he determined the current lights are failing and its not the Dimmer or Power Supply. He then contacted the manufacture for me and arranged for me to contact them so I can bring all the LED lights in for Testing and Repair (FOR FREE)! Both Tuthill and The Lighting Division (Name of the local company) were OUTSTANDING. Cost to me: $0.00.Best Customer Service I received in a LONG time. Great lighting Shop. Contemporary, Modern and Traditional. Wide selections to choose from. Very helpful staff. Customer based approach unlike big box stores. I went needing repairs they detected me to their off site repair shop. I particularly loved the gorgeous fixtures and Beautiful Art Glass.

I purchased 2 rooms worth of lighting here and made some changes in the middle. Bruce is a lovely man to work with and I wish that I could play in the store every day. It is beyond cool. If only I had an excuse to go there at least every month, then I would be happy. Great business.

The place to go for hard to find lighting. We needed to find a lamp shade and had no luck until we found Tuthill who arranged for us to get a custom made shade for an extremely reasonable price. Here you can find unique lighting not available anywhere else locally. Were glad to have found Tuthill and were happy with the experience.

I went in to look at shades. Quite a selection! The gentleman was very helpful with selecting a suitable shade and it wasnt much more than the ones at Lowes. A lot of the less expensive ones at Lowes, Wal-Mart or Target are lined with plastic that discolor over time.

I bought two gorgeous Hubbarton Forge fixtures for my kitchen from Tuthill Lighting three years ago. When I recently started to experience trouble with my island pendant light bulbs burning out for no apparent reason, Jim called the owner of Hubbarton to talk about trouble shooting. Then Tuthill owners Jim and Bruce made a service call, free of charge, to my home to take a look. It was then that they discovered the source of the problem, an easy fix. I have also shopped there in the past for lampshades, and have been given much time and attention. Both excellent customer service and quality lighting products make for an extremely satisfying experience at Tuthill.
