Had our refrigerator go out in the morning. Called as soon as they were open and even though they were booked until next week, they found a technician that was close by and there were able to come by and have me fixed (had the part on the van) the same day by 10:20am! Very impressed with the quality and speed of service. The technician was very professional and really knew his stuff! Will use again!

Quick appointment, technician Rob was knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. Honesty means a lot when you are dealing with appliances that you as the customer don’t have knowledge about. Will be my go to if ever have another appliance issue. Highly recommend them!

While cleaning my office I found a receipt from Oakes Appliance detailing the repair done to my dryer last fall. The service I received was prompt and professional. The needed parts were on the truck. In addition to replacing a switch they pointed out a badly worn drive belt and replaced it. This saved me a future service call. I have recommended Oakes to several friends, and smile when I see their trucks in my neighborhood.

We have used Oakes many times over the years for our washer, refrigerator, and most recently our dishwasher. Every time we have had a positive experience from beginning (getting an appointment, answering questions, finding needed parts) to end (the service call). We will definitely use Oakes again and highly recommend them!

I have used Oakes Appliance three times now. First time I needed water filter for my refrigerator, second time our washing machine needed a lid closed switch, and the third time my microwave needed a door closed sensor replaced. All three encounters they were professional, courteous, timely, and offered great value for the money. I would recommend them to anyone in need of appliance repair or parts.

Today (7/14/16) was my first opportunity to conduct business with Oakes Appliance Repair and I would HIGHLY recommend them. My Whirlpool refrigerator stopped cooling. Karen in their office was very helpful. I felt that I was the only customer that she had to deal with and you just dont find customer service like that any more. I was just as pleased with Rob Oakes who visited my home to evaluate the problem with the refrigerator. Friendly, knowledgeable people who provide GREAT customer service. Thanks so much Oakes for saving my Christmas dinner. They came out on Christmas Eve because my stove quit working while i was cooking my Christmas dinner and was able to repair my stove. Thank you all so much.

Place is a complete Rip off. I had them come and look at my washing machine. They said they would call back with the cost. I realize it is the holiday season but they never called back. After I called them, they told me the pricing for the part was too expensive and acted as if they didnt want the work. Informed me the cost was 250-350 for the parts and the total would be $485. I got the part numbers from them and the parts are $97 plus $11 for shipping. Called another appliance guy and he said he would install them for $125. Total cost= $233 vs $485 plus the people acted like they wanted the work. Let this place be your last resort!!!!!!!!

They are friendly people providing a personal touch and have thorough knowledge of all appliances. They have saved the day for us many times. So glad they are in business in our area.

I really thought my LG refrig was done until these guys came out. It kept freezing up and water would leak all over the floor. They were able to fix it at a great price and it has been running since. Sure saved me from having to buy another. Thanks!!! Oakes is worth the call.

Went here night before Thanksgiving for a heating element that broke on my oven. Man and woman seemed very nice however, the cost of the element was 4TIMES more expensive than anywhere else. Needed it to cook my turkey so had no choice. Im on disability and have little money as is...turned out to be the most expensive Thanksgiving ever.

Broken dishwasher(I thought so). Turns out there was a hidden switch under the cabinet that somehow got turned off. The technician didnt make me feel as embarrassed as I was! He was prompt, friendly & made this dumb person feel a little less dumb! Thanks for the quick appointment & great service(even though it was simple).

Tried to call on a Saturday for service, as their website states Live customer service 24/7, 365 days a year. Got a recording that they are only open during the normal business hours Monday through Friday. Very disappointed. Hopefully they will give far better service when they do call back - or at least update their website.

I have used Oakes appliances on twice and been pleased with the work they did and would recommend them to all of relatives and friends!

These guys are a cut above the rest. They really take the time to listen to you and not just come in and change parts. They go step by step to find the actual problem and use only OEM parts and not cheap aftermarket parts you find on amazon and ebay that dont last and have not been through quality control. If you want a company that takes the time to actually listen, uses quality parts with a warranty and treats you like family then call these guys.

Arrived at 4:43 pm on October 5, 2018, only to find a closed and locked business. Advertised hours are until 5:00 pm. No note on the doors letting customers know that they closed early. Very frustrating and definitely not customer friendly. Not a successful way to treat customers or to run a business.

I thought, Oakes Appliance & Refrigeration prices were HIGH. My problem was the Dryer 240V Outlet and Dryer Cord. The Technician inspected the Dryer and changed the Dryer Cord for $160.00. Now, I need a Electrician to change out the 240V Outlet with another charge. I dont mind paying for Services, I still think a $20.00 ~ 4 240V Dryer Cord and a $160.00 charge is still, way to HIGH!!.
