Competitive prices and great variety in food items. What I dont like is that if you buy any clothes, every other Wal-Mart has them and there is no variety. The clothes are on display for months

Walmart nice employees, convenience, like other stores a little short on inventory, prices up used self checkout, lines alittle long.

This store is slacking SERIOUSLY. I dread going to this Walmart. I avoid it unless it’s really necessary. The times that I do come here, there are no shopping carts. We wait for someone to bring more, if not well you have to go back out and get it yourself.also, most of the time the carts are completely trash. You end up struggling around the store the whole trip. Next, there is only 2 to none cashiers available. Also, they have self check outs which are awful…and most of them are down half of the time. Which makes checking out more time consuming then what it already is. Sometimes the lines are going down the clothing department. It’s just terrible. This store needs some serious changes.

I understand it is hard to maintain a store of this capacity which is why I have this a 4- star rating. Upon arrival, there were no available carts. We had to get a cart from the parking lot. There were also no disinfectant wipes or spray available to clean the cart. Other than that the shopping experience was pleasant and the cashier was very nice.

I was able to get help with the electric wheelchair basket cart to assist my special be Weds client in his shopping experience.I sought a team member to help me find a cart and before long I was grateful two team members were very helpful at both store entrances to make sure I could get a fully charged basket for my client

Went to get kinders BBQ rub to cook for my kids baby shower! Good product made some heresy good and was a bit for the baby shower. Boston butts that you could cut with a spoon!

Some of the stores have better craft areas than others.

Same old Wal-Mart experience with 1 exception the self check out wouldnt take my bill with the help of Via an associate I was able to pay with my bill She traded it and was very helpful and courteous what real customer service should be. Kudos to her and hopefully Her manager and Store manger of Dave Lyle Rock Hill store see this and promote Her She can teach others how to be great customer service like her.

This is the WORST Walmart every Ive been to. We moved across town from Newport and it is night and day difference. This store is a mess, merchandise all over the place, just stuffed on shelves. Bathrooms are nasty. I have come here to grocery shop and stood in the few registers they have open to try and check out, its never less than 20 min in line and they do not designate which registers are cash and card only. Today will be the 4th time we have stood in line with $300+ in grocery for 30 min just to get to the check out and it be card only, at this point I left my cart right there and left. to make it even better the associates at this Walmart are rude and ignorant. If half the people they had just standing around were actually doing something this place would run a lot smoother. We will NEVER shop at this Walmart again. I will be avoiding Walmart as much as possible.

Wow my anxiety hit the roof when I came here. Nothing in its correct spot. Nobody working. And the clothing department, wow, it was beyond terrible! Do better guys!

If there was a zero rating then you have negative rating. Wrong prices, boxes in every isle, I stocked shelves and rude rude people...

Checked in for my pickup order at 4:36pm….My pick up time was 4pm-5pm…. It’s now 5:15….still waiting. If you don’t have the staff to fulfill your 4-5 pm pickups, maybe make less pickup slots available for that time? In my 45 mins sitting out here I have seen one person bringing orders out and he has only come out 3 times…in 45 minutes. Obviously they don’t know how to run things efficiently. All spots full the person next to me has been here longer than I have.

This Walmart is severely lacking. The shelves are almost always not stocked, they hardly ever have more than two lines open and half the time even the self checkout is closed. Some of the employees are worth going in for but most of them have a I dont care attitude. Unfortunately this is the one closest to my house so its usually the first place I go if I need something cheap but Im seriously contemplating changing that

No problems just no people at the cashier.

We have two Walmarts in town and its amazing to me how different they are based on their location. On one side of town there are nice neighborhoods and therefore the Walmart is cleaner and somewhat classier. On the other side of town where theres less money, the store just seems geared toward less affluent people. Its not as clean, and the whole general setup feels like they just dont really care about impressing the people they serve in that area

It always looks junky and it has freight on the floor not shopper friendly.

Today 10/4/2021, my few hours at Walmart on Dave Lyle Blvd in Rock Hill SC, first no Security here, very busy hard to find a person that works here for assistance, self-service Lane really long at times, best to shop here is early!!!

06/26/2021 My daughter and I got to the Walmart store (at the Galleria Mall) around 9pm. At 10pm they started the announcement of what they would be closing in an hour and to bring your items up front to the check out. I listen to the same announcement over and over for the entire hour. Headed back to toddlers clothes. Looking for 1 girls shirt ( onesie) in particular in 24 months, only had 0-3 months and 6-9 months. Looking for toddler boys 2T. Got so aggravated looking and walking around and around the shelf/display rack and hearing same announcement that I said just forget it. When we get up front I thought to myself they sure are a lot of cash registers open for it to be closing time, and I realize all those were self check out and you had to check yourself out and bag your own groceries. The thought to leave the buggy full of grocery items right there crossed my mind but I didn’t want to embarrass my daughter I asked for the manager which never came and the older cashier, only person I saw walking around if I would have checked out at 10 pm they would of been cashiers that would have ring me up but due to me waiting to 11 when they were closing there was no one there to ring me up and that’s why I had to do it myself not cool Walmart not cool. You need to have employees until the doors are locked. I spent $210.00 . If this ever happens again some one else will put all those items back up !!!!!!!

They always have exactly what me and my family need! Only issue is the Check out lines !! Why is there only one open?! You have tons of employees get them working for check out! Hire me lol

I usually have very few standards for Walmart, but this place is such a dumpster fired I had to review. All I wanted was some damp rid. Tried to use the website to find the right isle and ended up running all over the store and never seeing it where it was supposed to be. Nothing is where it’s supposed to be and there is trash everywhere. It takes a special kind of lazy to make a Walmart of all places look noticeably awful. Whoever is running this place should be ashamed of themselves

There were no buggies at either end... with me having a small child this is a must especially if Im buying groceries. Grab one in parking lot before going in

Employees helpfulness and politeness is hit or miss, but more good than bad. Stockers are always seen busting tail to keep the shelves together. Its the customers that make the messes and thats awful. Over all a quaint place to grab it all at once.

No parking for infirmary types who have been released from the hospital. Billion dollar company cant/wont afford our increasing elderly population and those with maladies. Broken legs, twisted ankles, no food for you!! Veterans that proudly served, no parking for them either. No food on the shelf, better off in communist nations like Russia.

Typical Walmart really. Nothing bad to say about it. Service is always friendly. Id like to see more Walden farms items though and maybe more vegan options!

This is by far the worst walmart I’ve ever been to. They just need to close it down. It’s so dirty and messy, nothing is ever in stock, you can never find assistance, the employees are literally either missing or sitting down somewhere playing. It’s the worst. I asked a stocker for assistance and he sighed and said “I gotta go to the back” I guess cause they called his name over the intercom. Couldn’t find a manager or anything! Shut this place down!!

On 7/17/21 i have been here for 30 minutes waiting for someone at the sporting goods counter. Employees have paged an associate 3 times. Doesnt get any worse than this place.

Price was good and big selection, very clean and friendly

Its a Walmart. If yiu go with that mindset, I think youll be ok 👍🏾. With that being said, its ok. Go early to avoid the rush.

They did not have 1/2 the items I ordered. Almost a $100 worth. Pick up people are so friendly. Great job David.

Parking lot needs potholes repaired!!! last visit there were no buggies inside and no one to go get any!? In the Money transfer and pickup area the service was great very nice lady working there, At checkout no thank you, come again, have a nice day or anything the girl seemed to be in a bad mood.

Not always the most organized or the best service but you can find almost anything for a reasonable price.

The employees do not collect the carts and bring them up for customers to use. I saw about 70 or more all sitting on the backside of the store behind the Auto department. What good are the carts when theyre not accessible for customers?

In most instances, youre able to checkout with minimal waiting. I received notice that they are phasing out saving catcher.Amazingly their fresh salmon is really good when its seasoned with the lemon and pepper seasoning.

Nice and neat. I asked an associate for help and he walked me right to what I was asking for. Definitely one of the nicer Walmarts Ive been to.

If I could give it less than 1 star I would. Have shopped there for many years and have been relatively satisfied. However, in the last few months i have gone there 3 times on Sunday after church and there have been no carts at the food entrance. As they say 3 strikes youre out. I will not be shopping at the walmart on Dave lyle again.

Live by the Newport Walmart. Needed last minute items. Ran in. Lot nocer and cleaner than I remembered. Had what I needed. It was g6 M

Really shocked on how rude the staff is, I mean dont get me wrong I know its Walmart but dang. For one its not hard to answer a phone and yes we know you close in 20min please stop telling me that in every department I walk through to get 1 specific item, it took half the time to find someone to help open the glass door. Would not recommend, honestly take the drive to the Newport Walmart, much cleaner and a lot more friendlier.

Went to Walmart because they had a vision center at this location. Vision Center was well-staffed with friendly and knowledgeable help. Doctor was running about 20 minutes late but she too was very friendly and helpful.

I really dont like going to that Walmart they run out of a lot of stuff

I dont like this walmart theres always police and fights and the staff is rude.

Walmart is a go to for my family however because of covid it seems theyre not as stocked with certain items as they usually are. They just repaved the parking lot at the rock hill location.

I use the pick up service and highly recommend.

This walmart especially has the best selection of baby clothes and baby gear. It also has a good selection in the Garden, camping gear, and bikes. They also have a large holiday section.

Cashier and employees are so nice, look out publix, they got you beat

On 7/20/21 I went to store #585 in Rock Hill to pick up a hand exerciser that was suppose to be in stock. As I got to the aisle it was on I found the entire aisle was blocked completely by a row of pallets with merchandise ready to go on shelves throughout the store. A sales clerk ask me if she could help me and she even tried to get to the idea with no success. She explained that it was the workers responsibility to unload this entire row of pallets within their 8 hour shift!! She apologized for the inconvenience repeatedly! My question is why is this not being done at night like it use to be! I am tied of hearing they have no workers due to Covid! SC has stopped the unemployment checks that were keeping so many at home! Why isn’t Wal -Mart hiring and paying its employees wages that are decent! This back braking work is not something people want to do at the current salary of Wal-Mart employees! You claim to treat your employees well. I see this store #585 in a rapid state of decline every time I have gone in it for the past 3 years. Maybe this is why I chose to shop at the near by Target store that is CLEAN, WELL STOCKED, and has a FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE in every part of their store! This Walmart keeps their shelves stocked and zoned. The cashiers have all been polite and helpful. Dont like that this location amongst a few others do not have later business hours for their customer service desk. The only Walmart that has their customer service open til 10 pm is Newport.

Not enough cashier ran check out lines. Highly frustrating. Plus they are really cutting back on name brand items. They are constantly expanding the CV brand. The price of coffee almost doubled in last coup,which of months.

I have to give credit to Walmart, they have radically improved their fresh fruit and vegetables. Equal to or better than local upscale supermarkets.

Store is just down right nasty. Such a a shame. The aisles were cluttered. No buggies to be found and employees just hanging out looking at their phones. Very sad.

This is not our favorite Walmart. They are out of most things because they are so busy all the time so it’s expected. We understand. But we have to go to other stores Including here to get our groceries. Wish we could get it all in one stop.

I was looking for an apron set and happened to stumble across an apron set that had no tags on the hangers and on the top of the end cap it had 0¢, so obviously I grabbed one and brought it up to the counter, but I also took a picture of the end cap. Upon ringing it up it said $9 and change so I called the lady over and showed her the picture and she said not gonna happen and laughed instead of addressing the situation and getting a manager. It was honestly just a bad experience that I hope Walmart will address.

Out of just about everything. Store always have boxes that are supposed to be inventory but a lot of grocery is out of the things I need.

Nothing on self s not stocked well

Went to Walmart (Newport location in Rock Hill, SC) on 2 days (04/28/21 & 04/29/21). On 04/28 there was only 1 Cashier/Register open in the entire BUSY store. The Scan & GOs were open for the customers to use. One 04/29 when I went there were NO Cashier/Registers open, customers had to use Scan & GOs. On 04/28 I asked an employee working in the womens department if she could let management know that it would be beneficial to customers to have more than 1 register open. The employee loudly replied that if the government would stop sending all of that money to those people, maybe employees would get off of their lazy butts and get a job or stop calling in and come to work!!! ... So based on the Walmart employee (I wont say her name), this is the reason that this Walmart location (Newport in Rock Hill SC) only had 1 Cashier/Register open.

A lot of empty shelves and selection is deteriorating. Prices have gone up but still great for shopping.

Shelves are not stocked well on many occasions. Items that are in their bulk packages are sat anywhere in the store due to possible laziness of employees. Clearance on the food side are not clearly marked down. Sometimes food it sat in clearance due to lack of proper space on shelves. Those items are clearly not on clearance. There are many great employees at this Wal-Mart. However, the availability of common items are hard to get. This is NOT including disinfectant or tissue.

Not enough registers were open and Los of employees standing around talking.

The employees Jeffrey and Adrian deserve my compliments. I was in an electric mobility shopping cart. Of course it quit working, battery was showing charged, but cart wouldnt move. Jeffery and Adrian was picking an order for pick up. They noticed my dilemma, pushed me out of the way of other shoppers. I informed them, I had called the store number for help. They were sending someone. The someone never came. However, Jeffrey stated when he was thru picking order, he would try to find another cart for me. He did exactly that. He is absolutely a dedicated team member. The young lady that answered the phone for help was pleasant as well. But help never showed. Jeffrey and Adrian deserve to be recognized for their customer attention. They are greatly appreciated. This was at location in York, SC, 907 Liberty Street.

Went in for an oil change.I didnt realize that this was a HUGE azz STORE🤩🥰😁☺️😘I loved it SC ROCKS!!!!!!!!
