I would recommend G&G. I was traveling through Wyoming from out of state when I blew a water pump. It was Friday evening and all the other shops were closing and G&g was the only shop that was still open. I called and explained my situation to Nelson and he did not hesitate to help and asked me come by his shop and take a look on the spot. They ran to the parts store and had my water pump replaced in very short time and I was back on the road safely. Big thank you to Nelson and the rest of the crew there!

We were traveling to California and broke down in Rock Springs. Checked many shops and ended up at G & G. Nelson was so helpful. He was able to get us back on the road in 2 days when other shops said it would be a week. They even gave us a ride to our hotel. Ended up sending one of his guys after the part we needed to get us back on the road sooner. Great service and prices. We would highly recommend this shop.

Our vehicle broke down on the interstate and we had it towed to G&G. The owner was very honest and told us we should have it towed to the dealer because the manufacturer was covering it under a recall. He could have taken our money for a new engine job!! Very professional, helpful and honest.

We had an emergency that left us on the side of the road leading to the highway. G&G was able to help us, get us out on the road the same day, and we were able to make it all the way to Oregon with Nelsons repair. We cant say enough how helpful and kind he was to us in a time of serious need. Very reasonably priced for what he did for us, if we could give more than 5 stars we would! Seriously if youre in the area you should go here. If you have an emergency and youre in the area, this is the place to go! We called them and said we were traveling and he said that they could help us no matter what. Amazing service, Ive never had a better mechanic help us in an emergency.

Terrible customer service. I asked if I could leave my vehicle until the morning to pick it up and the man was very rude and told me no. They put forth no effort into solving my issue and were very unprofessional during the final payment transaction. No one could figure out a price and it seemed like they were just making it up. They even made me back my vehicle out of a very tight space instead of moving the car behind me. Over all this place is absolute garbage never use them..

G&G has the BEST people ever!!!! Our RV broke, got towed there, they did everything possible to get us back on the road. Even picked us up from the hotel. Super gracious!!! Affordable!

Nelson at G and G was an incredible life saver . Our family road trip took a hit when our belt failed us 3 hrs from destination, Nelson didn’t hesitate to squeeze us into his schedule to ensure we were able to get back on the road safely. He had us repaired in under an hour, and even offered to drop everything and come pick us up an hour away when we couldn’t figure out how to tow car and also get my wife and daughter to the shop. We broke down about 60 miles out from Rock Springs and were towed in. We had a conference to make in Colorado Springs and were desperately needing our van repaired by the time we headed home. Nelson and Bo (not sure of spelling) had it done the day before we were due back through. They came through in a HUGE way.

G&G is a great shop. Nelson works very hard to keep his customers happy. He stays with his quoted price. He works very hard to save his customers money and makes sure not to waste his customers money. They get vehicles in and out of the shop as fast as possible and I have seen him work late I to the night and on weekends. I would recommend G&G to everyone. We even send our company trucks to him to get worked on if we dont have time to do it.

We had issues with a truck that had just been fixed at another mechanic in WY, and broke down near Rock Springs. On a holiday weekend Sunday, a mechanic at G&G was kind enough to check out the truck and quickly repair the previous mechanic’s mistake for free. I very much appreciate him, and it seems like he has a great reputation in the area.

Outstanding service by the owner himself! We had a breakdown during a long journey from Kansas to Oregon and of all the mechanic shops in town, he was the only person to answer the phone on that Saturday morning. He was there to help within 10 minutes and got our problem taken care of within half an hour.In addition to helping out so quickly, the owner and employees had great customer service. If you are having car troubles driving through western Wyoming, I’d definitely recommend going here. Owner very responsive and will assist you even during off hours.

I took my bmw to a few places in town for a trans filter change because it was jumping a bit.rock springs auto repair told me most likely trans is shot well. G&G checked it replaced filters an flush whole different car thank you.

I was 6 hours into a 19 hour drive to the west coast when my entire wheel popped off my pickup at 80mph. G&G was the only place in a 120 mile radius that was open on a Sunday and they were able to get me right in. They had me back on the road within an hour and a half and turned my terrible day into a great one! They were extremely professional and friendly, plus the prices were more than fair. If I ever have car troubles again, I hope Im near G&G. Cant recommend this shop and these people enough.

Power steering pulley broke on the freeway while driving from NC to Oregon. Somehow it didnt destroy anything other than itself and the serpentine belt. Nelson and staff were amazing: quick, knowledgable, accommodating, and charged a fair price. Recommend whole-heartedly!

My wife and I were recently on a road trip along I-80, and our air conditioning suddenly stopped working. We knew it needed a recharge, and after calling many different shops in the area, G&G was the only one in Rock Springs that offered to help us on short notice. He was extremely polite and accommodating, and quickly recharged our AC system for us. He even had someone run to the store to buy a charger just so he could help us. He was honest, reasonable, and didnt try to give us any unnecessary upcharge. He didnt hesitate to offer us cold water while we waited, given that it was a very hot day. We were incredibly impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, and quick service. Thank you, G&G, for saving us from what could have been a very long and hot road trip!

Nelson is the man!”My son texted me that message after Nelson and the crew at G&G were able to diagnose, fix and test the problem his ’99 Honda Civic was having with overheating on I-80. And they did it in less than an hour. I would go out of my way to have my cars serviced here. Maybe not 500 miles out of the way, but I sure wish I could find ability and integrity like his everywhere I go!

$4300 for a used engine for my truck on a trip from Missouri to California. Was told it was a good running low mile engine. Lasted 200 miles before I had to put another $1300+ into it to get it to run like it should have the first time. Old factory original rusted and siezed spark plugs and reused same gaskets for the upper intake and o-rings for the injector when they were swapped! Beware definately would not recommend!!! I cant deny you did a great job as far as turn around and getting youme back on the road but the amount of money it cost I shouldnt have had any problems what so ever. Yes you sent $300 to replace the sparkplugs but since they were seized in the heads from being original it had to go in the shop where the also had to replace the reused gaskets and o-rings. I sent you a text message letting you know what had to be done and how much it cost me additional with no response from you. So if you decide to text me and let me know how you want to make it right then I will be more than glad to revise my review. Until then it stands to the facts
