Im usually happy with things I buy here. I didnt like the electric recliner I bought. Most uncomfortable recliner Ive ever used. I will shop here again.

This establishment started out on West State as Vaughns TV & Appliance, then transferred to the Auburn Street location where its mostly furniture and mattresses. They have a good variety for being a small local store and if you live locally they have free delivery.

Agents who work there are kinda rude, but once you get someone to help you, everything changes for the better, helpful and willing to get you what you want

The store had a nice selection of new home furnishings and a few pieces of previously owned furniture as well. Steve was very knowledgeable. He was helpful and did not try to pressure my dad into making a purchase. Very pleasant people to do business with.

If I could score them less than 1 star I would. First and last time purchasing from this local store. Purchased what was supposed to be a brand new washer and dryer from Vaughns Home Furnishings & Appliances, Ive had issues from the day of delivery and now seem to be getting the runaround from the store. Immediately informed the store and they sent out their tech guy who agreed the units needed to be replaced and now Im being told I need to go through the factory warranty. If the unit originally operated correctly and then had an issue I could understand their logic however this unit was defective from the day they delivered and set up. I guess if I had financed instead of paying cash they would be more willing to correct the issue. Perfect example of why not to shop local.

You know Ive bought from them for years I went to school with the owner, Ive never been dissatisfied and if you have a problem and just talk to them believe me they work things out with you. Dont have to cheat them just work with them and theyll work with you.

Shopping for furniture and it was great! No pressure to buy and helpful staff including the owner Mr. Vaughn.

We bought a refrigerator and had it delivered. We were told the setup fee pertained to the water and plumbing for the icemaker and water in the door which we dont have so we didnt pay.The delivery driver refused to bring it in the house and when I called they said that was part of the setup fee.

I would highly recommend you stopping at Vaughn’s before you buy your next appliance, bedroom or furniture group. You’ll like their large selection and love their customer service. In fact they not only deliver their product but they hook it up. Wow! Customer Service at its BEST!

Bought a bunk bed set from them, twin sized mattress bed set and 2 chests. This was in Feb. They initially fumbled this order and it took 3 days for them to actually deliver my merchandise. Paid cash for everything. Now strangely, it’s April and they sent me an invoice in the mail saying I owe an additional $254.96... This is pretty fraudulent considering I have the original receipts and bank statements.

The people who work here are great. Their sales are pretty cool too.

I use to speak very highly of Vaughns I have bought several items from them but will never go back. I got in a debate with their delivery guys because he scratched my dryer when they picked it up during a return and again when they brought it back. They felt a $50 credit was fair for $200.00 worth of damage to they dryer plus the broke a light fixture. I over looked it and still attended to do more business as did my friend. Their credit manager told me information about my friends credit app instead of them. She should not have shared their finance information with me. I was not included in their purchase. The lady their balittled my friend and broadcasted their personal so loud the whole store could hear her. She even yelled at them over the situation. They have changed their finance program as well so its not even financially reasonable. They use to do 12 month no Interest and that is not the case anymore. Its cheaper to rent your item from a rent to own than to finance with them. I will never step foot in their store again.

They assume because there is animal hair on the furniture they refuse to make repairs saying the animal had to have caused the problem and yell at you over the phone

BED BUGS!!!!!!!!!!! Got a mattress from here and the mattress they delivered to my house had bed bugs inside the box spring. Both myself and my daughter got bit for a couple months before we figured out what is was. I notified Vaughns that if they did not come pick it up it was going in the trash, and i was not going to pay my remaining balance. They refused to work with me. So I will have to take it to court. Dont buy furniture from here!!!!!

If I could rate them zero stars I would. They promised theyd hold a furniture set for us which was a lie. Even after that, we gave them another chance and we ordered a recliner chair we thought we needed for after my husbands surgery. Found out we did not need it and asked them to pick it up within the same week it was dropped off. They refused to refund the other 3 weeks of the 1st months payment. We also had a bunk bed set we were waiting on that was never communicated by staff so they never ordered it for us. Weve been going there for years and will NEVER go back there again. Terrible customer service and did not even try to make it right for the customer.

Contrary to other reviews they (Lucy) was hpful.Update... Got the fridge home and was the last delivery of the day. After the initial setup we realised the fridge would be too small. We called back the next morning and asked to exchange the fridge and wed pay the 359 upgrade.They said only if I paid another delivery fee of $79! Mind you... I live less than a mile from them and they didnt do the setup. They set the fridge inside the door... that was it! But was charged delivery and set-up the day before... They literally took off truck and set inside. Less than a 2 minute drive and 4 minute to the door service for $80! Then they wanted to charge me again for it... When we remodel our kitchen and need a stove, trash compactor dish washer, washer and dryer... Guess where were not going! I dont wait for you to burn me twice, one shot is all you get and Ill make sure that 20 people minimum will hear about it. Good Day!

The layout is nice and the staff is friendly. Rather than pressuring you into buying things you dont want, theyll work with you to figure out what you need and what will fit your budget.
