I did not appreciate the way I was treated at this store. I was verbally attacked by an associate because I did not have a mask on. The associate was rude and would not stop yelling at me in a very high tone of voice. I did come in with a service dog that she upset very much. There is no such thing as stores having a policy that you need to wear a mask. It is our freedom of choice if we do or not. I do not think an associate like her should be allowed to work in a store and verbally abuse people the way she did.

Nice store, lots to choose from. I actually was at the mall to go to Macys which wasnt open yet. I was very happy and grateful to be able to immerse myself in the wonderful atmosphere of a books store. This one has a vast selection and is well organized. I was able to wind down and enjoy some time in the books - even found a few things on sale.

We love going to this bookstore when we are in Rockford, Illinois. They always have what we are looking for and great selections for all ages. If they dont have what we are looking for we can always order it and have it delivered to our house.

Helpful staff that are generally pretty friendly. Usually pretty well organized and if they have a book that isnt on display yet, they are happy to look for you.

Got there early in the morning and asked where the book was, got told it was in the fiction section after she typed on the computer and nothing more. Quite sick so reading and everything is giving me a headache. So after 30 minutes of looking for it I ask another lady where the book was and she was very engaging and friendly. I wish I got her name

Shopping here it’s always relaxing, just wish they could price match to other retailers like Amazon for cheaper prices. Overall would come back, always a great selection to choose from.

Very helpful staff. So nice to still have a Barnes and Noble around!! There is a great little bistro counter and the store itself is quite large with many different selections.

One of the staff members helped us out tremendously. She personally walked us to the section we needed and even recommended us books. Then also walked us up front to find us a cashier.

Love Barnes & Noble - a little slice of heaven for me! Love this store! Would have been 5 stars but young lady at check out was too busy talking about a customer to have any conversation with myself or my husband during entire check out experience. Never said Hi or Thank You or Have a good night - nothing to us paying customers, but plenty of jabbering to her headset! 🙁😟😳😢

Wonderful place to explore, hang out, read books, special order an item you cant find and finally, relax at the Starbucks Coffee shop to grind.

VERY clean. Im not much of a book reader but my kids are. So, we went in and everything was very well organized and clean. Amazing smelling coffee from Starbucks that is located inside. You can take a coffee break and relax reading a book in there too.

Really nice has a large variety of books, workers are nice and the starbucks has really nice stuff.

If what you are looking for is not available in store, the staff will help you order it for shipping to your home or to the store. Good selection of games, stationary products, and other trinkets or gift ideas available as well. They have an instore coffee shop available.

Barnes and Noble is the place to go! I have so much fun when I come here! The staff is friendly and the selection is good.

Its a nice place to have coffee, do homework and look for clearance books. The staff was helpful and the store was clean, but who in their right mind, would even consider buying DVDs from this place. The prices on movies are way over priced.

There is almost every book there from non-fic to manga and theres books for every age definitely recommend going there if u need a book

Its barnes and noble. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Stores are always clean and tidy, honestly has some of the largest vinyl selection in regards to places such as Walmart, Target and Best Buy even at a decent price for quite a few of them.

They have really good deals sometimes. I always find good books to read while Im there

Very Up Scale Place Very Comfortable to go buy your books,movies,board games. And whats very surprising is that they have a spot for you to buy coffee,cookies and other things that you like to snack on so this is a Wonderful Place to Shop.

Had the book I was looking for. The staff were very knowledgeable on where everything was and gave me a few recommendations based on my purchase.

Any other day during the week is perfect but not on a late Saturday afternoon! The mall the store is in was bizzzzzy! We skeedaddled after making a quick check for new UK cross stitch mags (since Covid those mags deliveries has been incredibly slow, some not being sent at all darn it). However this too shall pass. Stay safe & mask up even after having the vaccines as it can still pass it to others.

Does anyone really buy anything there?it always looks like the same stuff every time I go in. Really only go in to order a coffee drink at the cafe. Why cant they have a REAL Starbucks in the mall?

They had a book that I was looking at, but no fountain pens, refills or writing materials like they used to.Friendly personnel.

Went here for a very specific magazine, which they didnt have any copies in stock. Then went to 2 other book sections to browse. Options were thin and uninteresting. The cookbook section is so large as to blow your mind. So if that section today your trigger, maybe this is a great place for you. Basically it comes down to whether the store values having a large collection representing your hobbies or interests. This store consistently underwhelms me.

Store has been completely reset and not enough help to find anything. Also too crowded in these times and not every patron masked.

Been coming here for years. They have a great selection of books, songs, gifts, and even Legos. The people are really nice unless you forget to put on your face mask. One lady was very rude when reminding me to put it on.

Its a book store with a Starbucks in a mall. They usually dont have what you need when u want it and still try to get you to buy a membership knowing you only stop in because of the Starbucks. Good 😷 enforcement and the staff were nice.

The service was terrible. It took 5 minutes to even find a counter to check out in due to most of them being closed down. No clear signage pointing to correct checkout lane. Also, Did employees not immediately respond to my request for assistance. When I finally got to checkout I mentioned they should have better signs, and cashier didn’t seem very interested. Looks like I’ll be sticking with amazon

Decent selection of everything, probably the most unfriendly non welcoming atmosphere in a bookstore ever. I have to really want to purchase an item to buy it here. They underline forcing people to buy from our competitors at this store, sadly.

Peaceful, calm, tranquil, smooth music and fresh smell of coffee and book smell all combined into one place. Though there are not that many chairs to sit aside from the ones in the coffee shop, but you can find a nice quiet corner ro prop down and read. The staff is well trained and proficient with the book keeping and helping out finding the book you need. Coming from the loud and vibrant mall is nice to step into the store and find a peaceful piece of mind
