Just picked up my C8 Corvette from Joe Luey, the Corvette specialist at Lou Bachrodt. Ordering and waiting for a C8 is a patient persons game, but Joe and Fil at Bachrodt really did a fantastic job representing the situation, being transparent about the dealers allocations, getting my order in to Chevy ASAP and keeping me up to speed as the 9month wait played out. Joe was spot on at several points in the process letting me know what’s going on and what to expect next. The delivery with Joe was fantastic, he even filmed the car coming off the transport and laminated the window sticker for me! Never thought I’d be so happy to pay sticker price for a car, but Joe made that happen. I wouldn’t change a thing if I had to do it all over again.

Double charged me for the Midwest package. on the sticker it clearly states that the price of the car includes the Midwest package at $17,485 and yet I was charged for it again and then I was told the extended warranty was a part of the Midwest package only to find out it was a separate order all together! completely horrible experience! Im only 22 and will obviously be getting more cars in the future I will ensure that I avoid this dealership along with any of its branches in the future if I need another vehicle.

Purchasing a vehicle is by far my least favorite thing to do but the moment I stepped in to BMW Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall - Lionel Vil my sales rep was incredible not only giving me the information I needed and wanted on the BMW of my choice but not being pushy with what was not on my radar, he was professional and extremely helpful. He made my experience absolutely pain free and relaxing. Something I would never say about purchasing a vehicle. Everyone there from Bill R in the business office to Todd Claussen the Genius-in-Training, were phenomenal and friendly.

Mike Papa did our appraisal and we were very happy with the number, Chuck showed us service center and Eric did our Paperwork and Adam did our OnStar. Great experience and would recommend them again.
No complaints. Would have given a 10 but when I needed emergency service (new battery and terminal connector that was almost rotted in half) the day before I was driving to Florida (7/12/21) and you could not squeeze me in or would even try. I have 3 Chevrolets and I have them all serviced there and you couldnt help me? Luckily I called Allen Brown Chevrolet in Genoa IL and they were more than happy to accomodate my needs that day. A 10 to them.

Service department was rude to both me and my wife on separate occasions. Cant stay on schedule regardless of having an appointment in advance of 3 weeks.After they reached out to me to purchase my lease ahead of the end date, I set an appointment. The sale rep then attempted to close a deal with another customer and me while there several other sales reps just sitting around chatting.Its a far cry from the Lou Bachrodt my family and I have been a customer of for several years now.Will not be returning.

What can I say other than Fil and Al made this a special experience? It was an amazing touch to find the truck all shined up in the showroom on that rainy day. From the virtual walk around with Fil to the delivery experience with Al, everything was top notch. Even when I returned to have the ordered Tonneau cover installed, they held up their promise to fill my tank with fuel for driving the 90 minutes back down there. If you are looking for an extremely nice yet attentive sales guy, seek out Al Luna!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with this dealership. My 1 year old vehicle had locked up while I was hundreds of miles from home, and still hundreds of miles from where I needed to be. I had to have my vehicle towed and had zero knowledge of anything in the area. Because of my situation and because they were booked solid for service I was expecting the worst. However they were able to assist me as quickly as they could. They even lost power and got me out the same day! Let me say it again, I am from out of state, did not purchase the vehicle from this dealer and live nowhere near this dealer. There is little to nothing I can offer them and they STILL gave me 110% excellent service, assistance and follow up. You do NOT find this level of care anymore. Thank you everyone at Lou Bachrodt, you literally made my life easier.

I drove one hour to Lou Bachrodt to purchase a truck, my sales man showed me a few trucks that I really didnt like much, he even took me to his other store but I was still not to convinced about his inventory, then I was thinking that I was going home empty-handed he said give me one more minute, he came back and said I found your truck! it is by detail, and sure enough that was exactly what I was looking for, a GMC Sierra loaded, AL Luna and finance personnel did it right for me.

I was 8 hours away from home when my car broke down on the interstate. Lou Bachrodt was able to squeeze me in and fix my car SO quickly! I was back on the road in just a few hours. The employees and mechanics were all incredibly kind and they remembered who I was. Absolutely impressed with this dealership and cannot say enough good things.
Would give a zero if I could. A linkage in my windshield motor snapped. Called and they WILL NOT even look at it unless if I bring my entire car in so they can get more money for servicing a vehicle instead of just fixing what is wrong. Never again

I went in to get my air conditioning checked out. It was not blowing cold air. After waiting about 2 1/2 hours it was done. I asked what the problem was n the service rep said it just needed a recharge. If it needed a recharge I said then it must have a leak. She said no the service guys said that it appeared the condenser was changed. I said I bought this car new here and you guys are the only ones that do work on it, so how did it get changed. It is not as cold as it was before but it is better. I’m thinking that there is still something wrong with it and they just didn’t want to fix anything because it is still under warranty until July of 2022. This is a 2015 Chevy Traverse with low mileage.

Worst car lot experience ever.got denied on a 2018 chevy equinox when I have a good job and good credit.saleman was very pushy and wanted to low ball my wife on her trade in a 2016 chevy cruze.talking 2k give me a break when there going to resell it for prob 10k or more.awfully funny how I go to a different car lot not only get approved for a vehicle but a 2020 chevy silverado z71 not only newer but more expensive so explain that one.hope the mangers at lou bachrodt read this and realize they need a new way of selling vehicles and realize they screwed up lol.i will never buy or refer anyone to lou bachrodt ever again period.i also put the pic of the silverado I was approved for by auto villa in McHenry iL way better car lot to deal with.

Very disappointing experience. Inquired about a vehicle that was online and they let me know over the phone that it had sold. Which I understood completely as it was a great deal. But the dealership is an hour away so that was the only reason I was going to make the trip. I then was told, over the phone, that they had more inventory. So I told them what I was looking for and they let me know about another vehicle that was exactly what I was looking for and in my budget. I then was assured that even though some vehicles may be out of my budget, they are having their “clearance event” so could work with me on those higher priced vehicles which I was excited about.So I drive over an hour to the dealership to check out the vehicle I was told about over the phone that was a “perfect” match. It was the exact opposite of what we discussed over the phone. So i looked at the rest of the inventory and was asking questions and the salesman couldn’t even provide me with a price on ANY of them. His advice was to “check the website” which was not up to date with their current inventory so it was not helpful at all. Once i was able to get the prices, there was nothing even remotely close to my budget on the used car lot. So I asked the salesman if there was any flexibility on the higher priced vehicles since I made the trip. He then proceeded to tell me that “the woman I spoke to just answers the calls, she doesn’t know what she is talking about. I will maybe be able to shave off $100.”I was very excited to get my vehicle appraised, get help from an exceptional and knowledgeable salesman, and find my new truck that I was told about. None of that seemed to happen today and I was disappointed overall after taking the hour drive and hearing such great things about the dealership.

My sales specialist was Prosper Rubino and he did an excellent job through the whole process of trading in my old vehicle to driving off the lot in my new vehicle. He listened as I explained what I wanted and did not try and sell me anything different. I worked with Fil Sotomayor on the finance side of my purchase. He asked what was most important for me regarding my trade in and loan and he delivered on what I needed. The whole process took only about 2 1/2 hours which was much shorter than my last purchase at Lou Bachrodt. It made buying a car a pleasant experience.

No stars for this place what so ever but I have to for a post, so it has to get a star. Their service and efforts are extremely poor. They ran credit through 11 different banks without permission. Lied with prices, said you can get this when I picked out a vehicle they came back with no, you have to get this instead Obviously, they care more about money in their pockets than they do their customers outcome. Will never ever recommend or go to this place again. Very very very disappointed. Thats ok because I was able to purchase a 2021 Dodge Charger RT at Naperville Dodge/Ram/Jeep
It should not take over 2.5 hours to fix a leaking tire patch, which they did. I called yesterday and was told I could just show up with no appointment. On arrival I was told it would be an hour before the vehicle was taken back plus an hour for the service. So I wouldn’t waste 2 hours of my day, I scheduled an appointment and ended up waiting 2 and a half hours. Just ridiculous!
The service staff was great. The problem is my oil change included topping off the fluids. They did not top off the fluids. My washer light came on three days after having my oil changed. I had to go buy washer fluid. My question is why can’t we get the service we told we are getting. Now I question did they rotate my tires.
I received great service and Michael Hall made sure I was happy about my purchase.

After service, I took my receipt home. I found out that my name was wrong, followed by 2 phone numbers that do not belong to me. I had to drive back to the service desk to have my name and number corrected. Yet, I could not get a detailed receipt with the correction. But only a sort of fact sheet attached to my bad receipt. I can understand human errors. But I do not want the wrong name and phone number to be sent to Carfax or elsewhere.

EDIT: I’m currently working with the GM, Charlie, and he has treated me very well so far. I am confident that he and I are going to work out a fair deal and I will be a happy customer.I will be providing another update once the deal is done.As of this moment, it’s been a terrible experience. I will definitely update/edit my review if/when they work with me on resolving the matter. I did send an email today and someone called me back within an hour or 2, and he said he’ll call back tomorrow to try and work something out....Purchased a used Infiniti from them on 2/26/21. Just received the properly signed title today (2 and a half months later) so I’ll have late fees when I do title it, and, as of right now, I can’t even drive the vehicle because there are expensive mechanical repairs that need to be made (I’m already over $600 in and I’m being told I’m looking at $10,000 to get it running right. It’s been in the shop or parked for weeks due to check engine light and vehicle not running right.) The Infiniti dealership it’s at now pulled the records and said its noted in the vehicle history in their database, that these repairs were recommended when the vehicle was serviced in January. That information sure didn’t appear on the car fax I read over.... Unfortunately, I signed a mandatory arbitration agreement at the time of purchase which likely leaves me screwed and leads me to believe they knew exactly what they were selling me. I’m contacting a consumer law attorney to see if there’s anything I can do.I should’ve turned around and walked away when I caught the finance guy slipping a $1300 allowance he said the dealership would give me, into my loan.
I was very disappointed in the way I was treated here. Gave me a very low offer for my trade in and didn’t seem to want to try to come to an agreement. I was ready to make a deal, but they let it go with no effort to compromise. I’ve definitely been treated better at other dealerships, I will go back to them.
Loved the experience. JOE is a great sales person, very patient, informed me on all my options, really worked hard at getting the financing where I needed it to be. I not only got great service, I also feel that I got a great car at a very reasonable price.

While I was living it, I was worried that my experience at Bachrodt was too good to be true.First, when I pulled up, I walked the whole lot and nobody pestered me. I exchanged hellos with several salespeople outside. I saw the car I wanted (I had found it the night before on-line when it was posted.) Gary came out and he was very helpful; I felt like he wanted to shoot the breeze more than sell. After I drove the car, I told Gary that the car was above my max and I told him the price I needed (which, trust me, was a great price even for a private party sale.)Gary took me seriously about my max and went to talk to Shain, the sales manager. I got my guard up waiting for the song and dance. Shain came back with Gary from the sales office and was all smiles. Here we go, I thought. But no, they basically accepted my offer. I couldnt believe it.They said the car was in pristine condition, which I believed but I wanted it in writing. They gave me back an inspection sheet that notated what they had told me. (And I really was an annoying customer on this one. I worked at a dealer and I feel like dealers are guilty until proven innocent.) Shain and Gary kept smiling and responding to my requests.Now it was time to pay. I wanted to pay in cash but I did not have the money accessible that day, so I tried to combine different payment types. After several back and forth conversations with my wife and then with Shain and Gary, Shain asked if he could check my credit, which was good, and then told me look, go home and well have the car waiting for you on Monday when the money is available. (It was Friday.) I took him up on this.Over the weekend, I could not believe that they would not sell the car out from under me. Why wouldnt they? They could get more for this car because it had only been on the market for less than a day. I had no legal right to this car. It was just our word. They didnt sell it, and whats more, they put it aside so that nobody would test drive it.Trust me, I was an annoying customer. They were great, the car is great (got a thorough inspection with my mechanic), and Id buy another car from these folks.

Great experience! Just started coming there with my company car. GMC Terrain. Roberta is attentive and knowledgeable and works with urgency. My only suggestion would be to start offering coffee again. Other dealerships in the area have done that as it is deemed safe now.
My personal experience was fine, sales guys were nice, polite easy to deal with. Explained up front about possibilities that I would not get incentives dependent on when truck was delivered and 4 months later (Thanks GM) that was the outcome, NADA. I do want to thank Prosper Rubino and Fil for continually checking in and pushing GM to release the truck that had been sitting in a storage lot awaiting QC inspection (GMs response for excepting on order that they can not deliver), and for working with me to get factory defects resolved next week. Not upset at all with dealership, just GM. Would recommend Lou Bachrodt for a Chevy or GMC purchase.

I Came in to sell my car they agreed they wanted it I even talked to them on the phone right before they closed to make sure which they said come back in the morning and they’ll take it, just for me to come in the next morning for them to tell me they didn’t want it anymore. With no explanation at all ! I really just think it was a racial thing because everybody I was with is African American ! DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do not recommend this dealership whatsoever! On two separate occasions we went there to look at cars, both times when we went inside to get a sales person to help us we were never greeted (not the biggest of deals), but we actually had to interrupt the salesmen who were sitting at their desks chatting (with no customers) and ask for help. This turned us off, but we brushed it off. Came in again on another day to get an appraisal on our vehicle, we talked it over and came back a few days later to sell/trade it and hopefully purchase a vehicle they had on thier lot. Unfortunately, we couldnt agree on the new vehicle price so we decided to hold off on selling our vehicle for a few days until we found something else. That weekend we discussed it and decided to just pay the price for that vehicle and be done with our search, but it was Saturday and close to closing time, so we made the appt to come in the following week On the day of the appt we wanted to look at one of the pictures they had online more closely, but when we went to their site, the vehicle wasnt there. This was right before we were set to leave for the appt, so I called to make sure it was still there. Come to find out, they sold it. It wouldve been no big deal if they had called us and told us it sold, we wouldve completely understood, but we were about to go there, fully expecting it to be there because no one bothered to call and let us know. On top of that, I tried emailing Frank multiple times (via the same email he had emailed me previously) to ask when we can come in to sell our van and he never once replied. He was real quick to respond when we were coming in to look at vehicles, but conveniently refused to respond when we wanted to sell our vehicle since the vehicle we wanted sold. Absolutely awful customer service all around (oh, and good luck calling to get a hold of anyone, youll be sent to voicemails every time), take your time and money elsewhere, folks!!

I came in with high hopes since my mom used to work there. The sales person was wonderful but the manager was exceedingly rude. He didnt bother to put in my second last name while putting in my information for a credit check, was rude when I told him there must have been a mistake, and sent my credit in to 5 or 6 different places so my score went down 15 points. Will NEVER go back.

My service advisory, Courtney, was great then she was out sick so I had several other advisors. Their communication was lacking and they were unreliable
Very expensive but price aside, the service was good. Roberta Hagaman could not have been friendlier and professional. My vehicle sat on Lou Bachrodts shop for almost a month (Not the dealerships fault as far as Im concerned.) The whole time Roberta kept updated on the status of the repair. Despite the frustration I felt from the lack of progress of the repair for almost a month, Roberta kept her cool the entire time, and by extension, she kept me from losing my cool. I hope I never go through the experience of an expensive repair and such a lack of efficiency in terms of the repair ever again. But if I end up in such position again... I hope I get a service advisor as friendly, as professional, and as calm and collective as Roberta. She was the silver lining in the abyss of the frustration.Let her know I appreciate her dedication.

My appointment was at 10am. I was told that it would take an about an hour to take apart the back hatch of my truck and figure out what was wrong. I decided to wait there. At 1/4 after 11. I was asked if I was waiting for a ride. I was not. I was then informed that my truck was still in line and not even being looked at yet. I got a ride home and did not get a call until 4:30. What was the point of having a 10am appointment and being told it would take an hour to take apart the hatch to figure out the problem? Also, you could get the main part to fix my truck but you could not get the $2.50 after market clips to fix it because it was too old. You charged me $160 for having my 13 year old truck for 6 hours and taking 1 hour to take the cover off of back hatch. I am truly disappointed.
Roberta, my service rep was courteous, prompt, and friendly. Sheanswered my questions and could not have been a better advocate.She is a wonderful representative for Bachrodt.

Your customer service and pricing was good. I was not impressed with the car wash that was giving to my vehicle. I dont understand how you can offer a free car wash but not dry it and leave water marks on it? How can you not dry a vehicle after you wash it?

Listening and following instructions should be practiced by the entire service department. And I wasn’t even offered a courtesy vehicle and they had my car for a week so I ended up paying out of pocket for a car rental just to get to and from work... this experience was definitely a big inconvenience for me financially.
Adam was my sales consultant and he was very kind and attentive. He listened and did his best to deliver what I was looking to get since this would be my second purchase. The sales manager was difficult and did not approach me once just unwelcoming and unfriendly if it was not for Adam I would have went elsewhere. At this point Lou may not be seeing me a third time. Thank you Adam you are the reason I purchased again
I had Samantha as my service rep. I really liked getting text updates. It was much easier than waiting for a call throughout the day.
