My sister and I ate lunch at the Country Cookin Diner in Rockledge for the first time today. We were both pleasantly surprised with the menu selection, food quality, impeccable service, along with the decor.Pictured is the homemade Chicken Salad sandwich I ordered. It was served on toasted white grained bread with fresh lettuce and tomato, delicious pickle slices, and ruffle potato chips. My sister ordered the same.Overall, we gave our Country Cookin Diner experience five big stars!
I got the bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. It was tasty, but some of the bacon was a little too hard. My tomato saw better days., but its its nick pick. The staff was very nice and I would order to there again.
Well prepared, tasty breakfast with friendly, efficient service. Upscale interior for a diner. Prices are great. We’ll be back.
Excellent seasoning in the greens, cornmeal breaded okra & wonderful bean soup. This is the real deal for country cooking. You gotta try this place out
The Country Cookin Diner was Wonderful with friendly and attentive staff. Food was prompt and delicious.I had fried eggs over easy, sausage patties, biscuits and country gravy. Everything was delicious.The atmosphere is laid back and the coffee is great!!!Highly recommend!

The Belgian Waffles I had were delicious! The food came out fast despite how busy it was. The tables were clean and the staff was nice! I just wish the booth seating was a little roomier. Not much you can do about that though.
Packed house late morning on a Sunday. Food tasted great (BLT) and I will surely go back again.
This place was awesome!!! Everything we ordered was spot on just as expected. It seems you always get the best food and service from the little Mom & Pop places. They had zero problems with my “specialty” omelet, yeah I wanted a little this a little that. Even my picky eaters cleaned their plates. Service is excellent as well and they do give military/veterans discount! That’s a big kudo for me. I would definitely recommend and return.
Food is great, prices are fair. The A/C on one side seems to work better than the other.

Ex wife used to work here walked in got a table they close at 2. I heard the server loudly say its 10 till. No offense dont serve tables if your not ready to work your hours. Comments like that made me feel like my food would get spit in.
The food was fantastic and tasted amazing. The mashed potatoes and fries are awesome. The meatloaf is phenomenal as well. The waitress was attentive and on top of taking care of us. Cute little place with very kind and friendly employees. I highly recommend stopping here for food. I will definitely be returning soon!!! I am excited to try more of the menu items. Excellent prices for the portions. The photos on the website are awesome as well!!
Worst breakfast I ever had. Omelette had the texture of Rubiera. Coffee was like water

I used to LOVE this place when I lived in rockledge. I would come here regularly for breakfast, order to go on my way to work, loved it. The food and portions are still just as great! The service is good too. Waitresses are attentive and nice to the customers but you can just feel the tension between the servers themselves. I could hear whispering and drama from my table. I understand the workplace is not always completely peaceful, but just keep it behind the scenes. It was almost like watching a soap opera while eating breakfast. Kind of entertaining but not at all professional.
We always come here for a good breakfast and the casual mom and pop feel is what we love. We have never had a bad meal here, and often bring friends and family here. The true show stopper is their waffles, they add some sweet crunchy things in it which are amazing. Try the waffles you cant go wrong if you like sweet! Also we usually get the biscuits and gravy which are also delicious too.
If I could give it 4.5 starts I would. Food was amazing! The portions were great (Im a big guy and love breakfast and I was full)! Biscuits were fresh and soft. The cooks followed the special order perfectly. The only downside was the service. And that wasnt bad, it just wasnt as attentive as it could have been! As great as the food was the service just wasnt as good, it was adequate. They were busy, and most of the tables were full throughout our stay so we understand they were busy. Definitely coming back and adding this to our great breakfast spots!

Both pancakes were crispy on one side instead if soft and fluffy. Which made them inedible to me. The reason they got two stars instead of one was due to the eggs being perfectly cooked Sunny side and the server was very nice.
Favorite little diner!! Love the girls serving. Known some (Annette and Tina) since the US1 Jimmie days. Love Collette and Kayla as well... therefore, Service is on par with some country love! Food is ALWAYS hot and served quick. Glad youre open 100% now too
I always have had a delicious breakfast. Havent had any complaints. The waiting staff is always professional and welcoming.

Nothing special. Had breakfast there. Eggs were just ok. Hash browns were barely warm. Belgium waffles were dense, not light and fluffy as they should be.

Today was my first time visiting this restaurant. The idea is very cute, country style decor and the waitresses clearly knew many regular which creates a comfortable setting. The food I got was pretty good, however it was hard to focus on the food itself when there was a lot of hollering from various employees from the back. I also overheard many employees complaining about wearing masks and removing them in many instances. I also work in customer service and know the importance of wearing masks to protect many people such as the elderly. I hope to see improvements in this area. Overall the restaurant has great potential.

Love this walmart because of the employees are nicer and friendly. Yes there have been one or two of the employees that were not happy but for the most part all of the employees are so kind and helpful where other walmart sites are not even close to having a rating like this walmart. It shows what the upper bosses are like when the employees are happy. Lets us all be healthy and loved by are bosses. Happy New York everyone.

I ordered pancakes with eggs and bacon and must say they were delicious. The portions were huge. There was no wait time as we were seated right away. The place was clean. The wait staff was helpful and they employed modern technology by using a tablet to take your order which made it much more efficient. I will most definitely be back.
First the food is pretty good here...I was unlucky and had an unfortunate billing issue where my card was charged more than what the total (after tip) I signed for on the receipt said. This was not noticed until a few days later (when I checked my bank statements) and they quickly refunded the difference that was overcharged when I brought it to their attention.Once bitten, twice shy, especially when it comes to any amount of money in this day and age, not sure if I will ever go back because of this.

The best food in the area for a good Country Cookin meal. The breakfast is definitely out of this world. The staff that work here are very nice they are very attentive to ensuring that you have the right food and drink. The only thing that I have negative about this establishment is that the interior decorating the knick knacks are good but the walls are a bit of a dark color its kind of tired looking and it needs a little bit of an uplift otherwise this is a very great place to eat the ticket is very good the breakfast is very good the scrambled eggs the sausage everything is very good

Its very pleasant experience, they are very nice, they get the food and drinks out fairly quick, and the food is very good. 10/10, would eat again.
The food overall is ok. Not good, just ok. About what youd expect from a greasy spoon diner. However this time eggs were undercooked leaving runny whites on over-medium eggs. Bacon was chewy.Worst of all, very few staff were wearing masks, they were not sanitizing tables, ours wasnt even wiped off and still had water rings from the previous patrons, no social distancing with tables and place was packed, no partitions. Cases of Covid are increasing in Brevard and this place is not taking basic practices to keep patrons or staff safe.We wont be back. We tried and it just isnt worth it, other diners do a much better job.
Food is pretty good but every time I eat here the AC must be off or something because it is stuffy and hot.

Great breakfast food at reasonable prices. We come here regularly for our morning food needs. Dont expect much, as it is a standard diner. What sets them really apart is that their wait staff is all very friendly and personable. You feel like youre in a small town and are known by everyone.

I had breakfast with a dear friend at Country Cookin Diner. The service was attentive and kept coffee cups and water-filled. I had scrambled eggs with cheese, grits, and my fave was the biscuits and gravy which came with my breakfast and was delicious!
My family and I are from Denmark and we visited this place this summer. Not knowing what to expect from this country looking diner, we were definitely thrilled. The staff was very welcoming and observant, and we had Britney as a waitress. She was very sweet, talkative and made sure we had everything we needed. So nice!The food was also very nice - i got myself a burger with onion rings and they just owned it! Nothing to complain about.This fun and cozy experience is definitely something we will remember!

Breakfast here is always good. This is our go to breakfast place when we are in Rockledge/Cocoa Beach.
I only come here for breakfast (any time of day). The French toast and pancakes are great. Sadly every time I order scrambled eggs well done (not wet, just fully cooked) I end up having to send it back and order something else. I rarely have this problem when ordering eggs at restaurants and its never been a problem at the Port St John location.Other than the eggs, the food is good, service is generally great and its very wheelchair friendly.
Put this Restaurant in your GPS get off the interstate 95 and enjoy the best service best breakfast best prices in Florida. Our server Hope was just wonderful. I couldnt have asked for a better start to my day. Very easy to find food came out correct hot and fast. Restaurant was very clean. We put Country Cookin Diner into our Google map favorites.

First off, the food was great!!!! I ordered the catfish fillets and grits. The fish was perfect but my grits were cold. Now heres the problem, theres no way I should have to wait 10 minutes for the waitress to come back so i could ask for hot grits!!! She ignored is when we were sat. She walked past us at least 3 times before even acknowledging that we were there. Drinks sat without an offer of a refill. And the WHOLE TIME we watched her give another table A1 service with a smile! Overall Service was TERRIBLE!
One of the best breakfast Ive had! Home prize Brown and crispy, scrambled eggs with bacon, gravy and cheese. Grits too! Loved every bite! Very reasonable prices too!

My wife and I had a great lunch here. Clam chowder was to die for and served piping hot. I had a fried fish sandwich that was fantastic and my wife loved her chicken salad sandwich. Both came with pickle chips and potato chips. Great price.

Really nice diner where you can get consistently good food. Breakfast all day long. Skillet and blueberry pancakes are to die for. Waffles fantastic, but small for growing teen or adult but would be fine for kids. Prices very reasonable, just be careful about lines at breakfast time. Lines do move quickly however. Has become a regular stop for us.
Don’t let the outside scare you away.... because once your inside you’re greeted by a very sweet, down to earth staff on the inside. You hear cheery hellos and good mornings (:The staff is fantastic, really delivers the southern hospitality and what not. The menu has plenty of options, maybe add a tad more for some variety but no complaints. Food was sent out quick and was very tasty. Cannot complain, cant believe I over looked this place for so long!

Ordered eggs with limp bacon. Toast was brought out 5 minutes before rest of meal and was cold. Sent it back. Meal arrived and eggs were cold, and bacon was overcooked. Had to wait for toast. Should not be so difficult to get a hot breakfast.
