DO NOT send your child to music lessons at this company. I worked as a voice, piano, and guitar teacher for Harmony for a full year. The company pays their teachers at unfair rates, does not communicate, and is extremely unprofessional. The owner, Brian, is not a musician and is in this business purely for the money. He is arrogant, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I was “ghosted” by the company after asking for a raise, did not get to wrap things up or say goodbye to my students, and still have not received two months of pay. It has been two months and the staff and owner have dropped all communication and refuse to pay me. Please send your children somewhere reputable that treats their teachers with respect. Thank you.

*Summary: take your business elsewhere!I taught guitar, piano and voice at Harmony Music School from 11/20-03/21. I am a full time professional musician with a Bachelors in music, and have been teaching for the past 10 years (so I am by no means new to the industry). The way the owner of the company treats his staff is completely unprofessional which is understandable seeing as he runs his business on a foundation of manipulation tactics. When I finally caught on and chose to leave the school, he decided to fall off the face of the earth rather than return my calls or emails regarding payment for a months worth of lessons that I had already taught (pretty sure he’s blocked my number as well). Additionally, I wrote an entire Rising Stars program for him (books and instructional videos) that he never paid me for. I have given him the option to forgo payment if he signs a document stating that he will not use my materials and intellectual property, however, he wont sign that either, which leads me to believe that he is still using the materials that I created for the program. This school is a SCAM and as a parent, I would never want to give my money to a company that abuses its employees in such a manor (because s@%t trickles down and is bound to reach your children eventually).

An amazing school! I wish I would of had this type of learning system when I was a child. Focused, educational and extremely fun! Emphasis on FUN! Not only are children learning how to play but their also learning how to write their own music. This means that they understand the details of music theory. AMAZING!

I think the best part of the Harmony Music is the step by step curriculum with set goals and assessments. Their periodic assessment is a good feedback tool.Their staff and teachers are very friendly. My toddler got an exciting tour of their facility and got to play with different instruments on her first day. Piano teacher is very creative and keep kids engaging with playful environment.Good Job, Keep it up !!!

Our daughter has thoroughly enjoyed her voice/music sessions with Kristina for the past few months now. It has been encouraging for her and has helped her develop self confidence as well. The staff have been personable and professional throughout our experience. Highly recommended.

I took guitar lessons here (had to stop because I moved) but learning how to play guitar was extremely gratifying. I thought it might be strange being older taking lessons, but the staff was always welcoming, which made me excited for every lesson I had. Sasha is a phenomenal teacher and musician. I know others who took other lessons, such as piano and voice, and I havent heard a single complaint. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, and they also teach you music theory. It is one thing to play an instrument, but to be able to read music as well is an accomplishment in itself. I would not hesitate if you or your child want to take lessons here. I promise you wont regret it.

This place is amazing! I can see why they have won so many awards. It’s fun, educational and kids are turning into musicians at a very young age. Their concerts that bring children together in a band is AWESOME too!! We are so luck to have this in BREVARD.

When I was eleven I asked by parents for piano lessons as a birthday gift, so they signed me up at Harmony Music School. I studied piano there for 6 years, and Harmony truly developed me into an accomplished musician. I started out knowing nothing, and got to the point where I played in my school’s Jazz band and I became the pianist for the All County Jazz Band. Now that Im in college, Ive even begun conducting orchestras for musical theatre. Harmony definitely gave me a great foundation for music performance and helped instill confidence in me to share my passion with others! I highly recommend Harmony Music School.

This music school in Rockledge Fl is the best we have ever been to. My son wanted to learn guitar so we tried harmony music school and boy was I impressed. He could play a real song after the first lesson. I even leaned a few things myself! Great teachers, great program!

Incredibly innovative and creative approach to getting and KEEPING kids interested in their musical education. I used to have to force my child to practice his guitar, now I cant get him to put it down. And, he isnt just plunking along on the same boring lesson, hes playing songs we all know. Motivated is putting it mildly. Keep up the great work!

I took one trial guitar lesson. Really liked the instructor and lesson. But when I told the staff I wanted to sign up for weekly lessons I was met with a huge surprise. They auto debit $199 monthly for kids but they bill adults quarterly. So you have to prepay $600 for three months of lessons. I wasn’t prepared for that. They also only want you to take the 2:00 or 7:00pm time slots so the kids can have the in between times. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful but their policies don’t encourage beginner adults.

Harmony has an amazing system! Their program for teaching children is unlike any other out there! If you havent already, sign up!!! You wont regret it!

My 5 year old son has Ms. Omyra as an instructor. He LOVES taking guitar lessons with her. She adjusts to my sons learning capabilites very well, and she works at his pace. Harmony Music schools offers a flexible schedule. I love that the students go through books that get progressively harder. It is a way to measure progress, and I love seeing the assessments.

My child took lessons in multiple instruments and really enjoyed it. He learned a lot and really connected with the teachers. In addition to the lessons, Harmony puts the kids in bands where they to learn how to perform together. It has been a great experience.

I had terrible experience with them. First, never order any instruments from them. In my case, it took 6 weeks to receive it and it was the wrong one, then took them another 6 weeks to refund me. Second, they never can get their schedule right. Third, when I withdraw my two kids from them on 5/21, they said I will be charged for another month because I didn’t fill the form on the 15th. Enough is enough, I am so done with them although the teacher is good. The new front desk lady has very heavy accent and bad attitude . It’s kind funny that they keep changing their manger and front lady, but the service is getting worse and worse . There are plenty choice out there, I glad I made my mind to find better place for my kids.

Owner told me that if he had A plus curriculum he could hire C plus teachers. The problem is that the Curriculum is a great theory book. But the owner played football and never an instrument so he is clueless about the whole thing.

My daughter did lessons here for almost a year. She progressed a little, but I wouldn’t say she loved it at any point. What really bothered me, and the reason I quit ultimately, were their business practices. My daughter did not have a single lesson in September that wasn’t a make up, 3/4 were harmony cancelling at the last minute, 1 hurricane related. They did try to schedule makeups, but I had so many makeups from the summer, when they refused to let us take a break without surrendering the insane registration fee, that I would never have gotten to them. When I tried to talk to the owners about this, to ask for my money back for a month when no lessons were provided, I was told it wasn’t possible. The woman at the front desk was very nice, but it wasn’t in her power to refund me, and the owners can’t be contacted. I just don’t think this place is worth what they charge at all, and I think it’s very petty that they won’t even speak to me.
