Went today.. this place has no HRs saying anything. Called and it doesn’t even go to a voicemail. So disappointed my family was looking forward to this but I guess they don’t want our business! Very low prospect and I am so angry we couldn’t go in!
Great for all ages, I have been going since I was a kid and now get to bring my babies here as well!
This place is a wonderful gem in Rockport. Very educational, informative volunteers and interactive exhibits for kids of all age groups. Free/donation entry. My husband and I had fun going together and we love bringing our friends and their kids too.Oh, and movie nights!
Small place but its free, you can give a tip when you go in which was great, especially since I have 5 kids. They had different fish and other ocean life and some activities for the kids. And a small gift shop with reasonable prices. Great place to stop by if you get a chance
This small local aquarium is free and SO worth seeing. Staffed by local volunteers, this gem has wonderful tanks filled with mostly local fish, has a great shell collection, and plenty of information on the area waters. Come in, spend some time, and make a donation! The fish will thank you!
Me and my friends went on a cold day during spring break and loved it! Its small but full of fun things and plenty of fish, fossils and information to look at!! There is this really trippy purple fish and hes so cool!! Worth the visit! Staff is very nice and its free!!!!!! Love it! And the fish!! Great for all ages! We are in high school and it was very entertaining:)
Relaxed, fun place. Admission is free/by donation.Staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Kids had a great time. It is a small, non-profit; expect to spend no more than 30-45 minutes here.
This place is not huge, but it is amazing for its smaller size. They really can pack a lot of aquatic animals into one admission free trip to this place. They also have a little house looking building where you go to learn more about certain mammals. I do recommend this place to people of all ages.
Really interesting display of local aquatic life. Very courteous and knowledgeable volunteers. If you would enjoy a very short aquarium visit, this is the place.
This was a great place, however, Hurricane Harvey totally brought it to ruins. 😥
Fun aquarium small but fun. Lots of information on local wildlife and how to preserve it for our future generations. The aquarium is free but please feel free to donate to help feed the exhibit specimens and to keep it up and running.
It is a bare concrete foundation since Hurricane Harvey destroyed the building. No reason to plan a visit here in 2020.
Its a beautiful place
So much fun, got to see the handler play with Marly the eel. All volunteer run and free. The volunteers were very knowledgeable about the local marine life and gave us a quick lesson on the lightning whelk characteristics and how they lay eggs.
This is a great place to take your dog. The staff is extremely friendly and respectful. I will definitely go back again.
While the size is not big, this aquarium is a fun little spot to stop and see some aquatic life. The volunteers are fantastic and there are quite a few activities to do, especially with kids.
Love this aquarium! We visited here about a week before hurricane Hugo. Loved out tome spent here.
Being run by volunteers and funded on donations, its small but nice. The people were friendly and had lots of information. Good for small children.
Nicely done for a small aquarium. A good excursion that does not take the whole day or empty your wallet.
Cute fun little place to take the kids. Very educational. Free entry but asks for donations.
Small but very interesting, dog friendly, if youre lucky you get to meet Marley. Quick tourist 30 minute activity while in Rockport.
Nice displays. the volunteers were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed just sitting watching the various fish in the aquarium.
Check this place out while in Rockport. Great for kids and adults alike. Not huge, about 30 mins to read and see everything but its free. Donations appreciated.
Nice collection of sea life. Educational fun with lots to read and the volunteers really know their stuff.
Nice, FREE aquarium with reasonably priced gift shop, activities for kids and lots of local info! Nice staff.

Hopefully they are able to rebuild the Rockport Aquarium. It was devastated from hurricane Harvey. It was truly an asset to the community.

I give it 5 stars because I visit it sometime and everything was very beautiful, but I am very sad because the hurricane took it away and they did not put it back again 😥😭 Hopefully and one day they will raise it again I would love to bring my children to have the same beautiful experience that one day I had ...
