Good, honest mechanics are hard to find, but these guys are best Ive ever found. I have taken my car there several times, and theyre always friendly and trustworthy. There have been times where they cant find the cause of an issue, and theyve never charged me for taking a look at it. Their prices are very reasonable, theyre able to fit me in pretty quick, and their work is thorough. I highly recommend them for all auto service needs.

If you own a BMW and it is off-warranty, then you know there is nothing more important than a good, indy mechanic who can keep it in good running order. Jeff and his team are amazing. Responsive, diligent, and honest. They do outstanding work for a reasonable price. They know these cars well and where things tend to go wrong, meaning they are on top of preventive maintenance. And they dont try to force unnecessary services on you to make a few bucks. If you own a BMW, I cannot recommend Rockville Auto Clinic enough.

I have been using Rockville Auto Clinic for years, including within the past month. I have never had any problem with the repairs they have done on my cars. Every time I have used them I get an accurate diagnosis of the problem and a firm estimate on the cost before the work occurs. I have never felt any pressure to fix something that I felt was unnecessary. I have learned I can trust the owner Jeff and his employees.

Jeff and Marcus at Rockville Auto took excellent care of my vehicle, performing periodic maintenance that included changing engine oil and filter, air filter, topping off other fluids, and changing the spark plugs. They inspected the vehicle and called me to explain the recommended services, then completed the authorized services quickly. Friendly team, clean and orderly shop. Highly recommend!

I am a senior person and had very bad experience with Rockville Auto Clinic for repairing my car.When I drove my car to Rockville Auto Clinic, I told the service manager that recently my car randomly has error sign of Malfunction. He said that the problem is most likely caused by either the Timing Chain or by the Bracket, but he needs my permission to open the car. I gave him permission to do it.But when I picked up my car, I asked him whether any problem is from the Timing Chain or Bracket, he said that he did not do it, but instead he replaced a valve and then asked me to pay $687 for the work. I asked him why he did the different repairing work without my permission and my knowledge because the car is my property. He refused to answer my question and said that he fixed the problem and forced me to pay $687. Even worse, after the repairing work, my car can only be driven about 15 minutes to home and then totally does not work at all.On the first business day of the following week, I called the service manager. His assistant asked what my name is and then told me the manager will call me back. But he did not call me. I had called him 5 times from morning to afternoon, he refused to picked up my calls.The $687 is big money for a senior person. and even badly, I have to find another auto repair shop to repair my car and spend more money.

After getting burned by the BMW dealerships service department, I was really glad to find this place. I couldnt get anyone to explain to me what they are doing to my SUV and why it took so much time and money at the dealership. If I asked more questions, their attitude was like you cant afford your BMW. Anyway, the treatment I got here is totally opposite. They are extremely honest and upfront. They even told me to postpone certain replacement and service because they think the SUV still has some margins left. This is a business that strives toward winning long term customers, not just short term profits.

I came into the shop with the assumption of needing new breaks and was prepared to possibly having to drop a lot of money today.Some other shops would have probably just went with it, replace my breaks and take my money, but not Rockville Auto Clinic. Pleasant staff, however I still had to wait an hour for a safety inspection (after scheduling ahead) which cost $115. Would recommend shopping around elsewhere and checking prices ahead of time as the price range for safety inspections in MD is $60 - $100 according to youcanic.com. Not worth the markup cost in my opinion.

For my experience, not so honest. Highly depends on code reading instead of inspection. Price is high. May miss diagnostic. They are the only one out of 5 mechanics diagnosis the problem wrong and trying to repair unrelated parts. You have other better choices in this are. This one is just not that good.

I needed to get my car MD inspected so I took it here. It was a little more expensive than what I’ve paid before but as someone who’s been ripped off by auto shops before, an extra $30 is worth it to me to have the peace of mind that my car is in good hands. I brought it in at 4pm and it ended up failing because of the window tint. But they were able to fit me in at 8am the next day to get the tint removed so my car could pass. The customer service was pleasant and I’m happy they were able to get everything taken care of quickly. I’ll come here again if my car needs service in the future.

A bunch of crooks, Woodly is a thief and uses customers vehicles after hours for his own personal use. I will never trust this shop again. My car came back in worse condition and reeked of cigarettes

Jeff is AWESOME! I had to get my car towed there (not knowing where to go and went by others reviews) because my car broke down. Frankly I ran out of gas with 35 miles left in my tank, which never happened before!! It was towed after hours and I left the keys in the box. The next morning, Jeff said it was out of gas and the battery was dead, both which I knew. Jeff was amazing and got me back up and running that day with little hassle! How refreshing to deal with. I would travel the extra 15 miles out of my way to have him repair my car - I TRUST HIM!! And he is very easy on the eyes too! ;0

I went in for a MD safety inspection. Everyone I spoke to was straightforward, professional, and very friendly. They took the time to carefully explain and show me what parts were worn, and what my options were. They also managed to accommodate me as a walk in at the end of a busy Friday. I got good vibes from this garage, I will be going there for any mechanical needs.

I get consistently great service from Jeff and his crew. One of the things I appreciate the most is that Jeff explains whats going on with the diagnostic process and will usually give me a variety of options to choose from - as an example, my A/C wasnt working so I brought it in. I suspected there was a leak and it was going to be costly but Jeff recharged the freon (it was almost non-existent) and said wed go from there. A few months later - A/C wasnt working again so I brought it back. They couldnt find a leak but re-charged it again (no cost to me) and Jeff said we should take a wait and see approach (especially since were entering winter and I wouldnt likely need my A/C). If after 6 months, they were constantly re-charging it and no visible leaks found, then we could consider a more costly repair to the condenser. He doesnt try to up-sell me on repairs or push me to make decisions without giving me all the info AND when I do need a repair, its still reasonably priced. Great customer service, clear communication, reasonable rates - truly the best shop in town.

After a mishap at a lube shop RAC was able to identify the problem quickly even though they were backed up with other cars. Got some brakes done as well for a reasonable price. Besides dealing with a chaotic parking lot out front its a good establishment and I will return for future needs (like when I need my other brakes done as well.

I use to take my BMW Z4 to Montgomery Autohaus, which was the same shop under the previous ownership, because they were very fair priced, honest and did good work. The new ownership under Jeff is exactly the same. He is very honest, as I was having some error messages on my car, left it with Jeff and his team for 2 weeks to see if they could figure out what it was. The car drove fine during those 2 weeks, so they never did any labor, so he didnt charge me for the diagnostic since there wasnt any work to be done to the car. I would absolutely recommend them and will be using them for any future work.

By far the best auto place I have had the pleasure of taking my car to get serviced. They are good people who arent out to swindle you just to make more money. They provide great service and care about their clients. Rockville Auto Clinic is great! Had new tires installed at NTB; they advised I also needed new shocks, struts, and had a loose axle. I took my car to Rockville auto clinic for a second opinion. They put my car on the lift and took it for a test drive. Shocks, struts, and axle were all fine. Did not charge me for their evaluation and time. Jeff and Marcus and Team were very enjoyable to work with as well. Icing on the cake, they did not change my seat position. That comment may seem silly, but, I do not have electric memory seats and usually dealers always adjust the position. It usually takes me a couple days to get it right again. Overall great experience.

These guys are the BEST IN ROCKVILLE. I went to them for MD state inspection for my Camry 2012 32k miles. Got a PASS certificate with $0. They are very Honest & Sincere with their work. Marcus said They take care of the cars like their own cars and only estimate the changes which requires immediate attention & only when it is needed. I will come again to them incase if my car requires it and suggest this place to my friends. Thumbs - Up.

Car was dead, so I was in a hurry to get it fixed.Found quotes afterwards ranging from 300 to 400. Very overpriced.After picking up the car, now the front exhaust sounds like a lawnmower on fire. They suggested a front exhaust repair for 450.Will be looking elsewhere.

My car back seat windows cannot roll up. The other car mechanic told me that motor needs to replace and charger tons of money without even look at. My friend told me this place and I brought my car to there. Jeff and his team are an anomaly in the auto repair industry. They will never suggest anything they would not recommend for their own vehicles. They are honest beyond belief. Not only are they fairly priced, but they educate the customer so you can make informed decisions. For example: If you plan to keep the car for less than two years, we can save $100. Otherwise, spending a bit more now will save you $500 later.I recommend them without hesitation.... And they are all nice people who act professionally.

I had an incredible experience with the owner Jeff and his team. Last weekend my car didnt start and no one could figure out what was wrong with it. I took my car to Jeff and he saved me $1000 in repairs. He originally thought that I may need a new key recognition system that would have cost me $1200 but before ordering the parts, he said that we should try a spare key to see if it was the key that was causing the problem. Sure enough it was the key. Overall, Jeff put the best interest of the customer first. He could have easily replaced the system and charged me $1200 but he did the right thing. Also Jeff was very responsive when trying to get in touch with him about updates. He also gave me a ride to one of my business meetings after I dropped the car off, instead of having to spend money on an Uber. Jeff and his team are truly a breath of fresh air and is someone you can trust.

Bought and installed a bulb to try to fix it myself, but it didnt fix it and I brought it to Rockville Auto Clinic.They found the issue (ballast for the light), but one of the mechanics forgot my brand new bulb (which I wanted to return to get my $100 bucks back) inside the car.Jeff immediately got me a new bulb without any questions or comments and I was able to return it to get my money back.I never done business with a more honest and service oriented team. I got my car towed here after a coolant issue. They were able to diagnose it the same day I brought it in and found I had a cracked engine block in my civic. Before they called me, they also found that honda had extended the engine block warranty. When they called they did a good job of breaking the news to me and were very polite and professional. For repair work that I wont do myself, Ill be heading back to the rockville auto clinic.
