Long time customer. Orders an item, returned for refund, almost 2 weeks later no refund.Since going completely online the customer service has taken a turn for the worst. I’ve called several times over several days and no one answer and the call was disconnected each time. I finally speak with a rep they could not provide any information and their attitude was atrocious. Needless to say I will not be purchasing anything else from this site.

Love this store. This location is clean safe and accessible. Always fun and interesting ways to decorate your space. Sales arent bad. Staff is ready to help.

Love me some Pier1. Had to stay out of there have been buying candles 🕯 like on sale 2 for $20, $10 each I had like (20) candles gave them alway for holidays. Best store is Rockville MD, just love them and the services is GREAT!👍🏽

I love the new space...it feels really organized even though shelves are crowded. Try not to go in with little kids! Beautiful and colorful decor. I try to make sure I always purchase things here when there is a good sale because you can find things like candles, plates, etc cheaper elsewhere.

I really enjoy Pier 1. Le Bien ornaments are my favorite. I always go there to get for my friends and family. It started when my sister in lawn gave me my first Le Bien ornament I felt in love. Everyone November and December I will visit a Pier 1.

It is sad they are going out of business. But their sales are real good.

Truly one of my favorite places to shop. Always lovely things that smell awesome at decent prices.

Because I feel most individuals reading reviews for this specific Pier 1 store are familiar with their store, Ill keep my assessment of Pier 1 corporate brief. Instead, Ill focus more on this specific store.Pier 1 offers relatively affordable furniture and decor. The quality of individual items is mediocre, albeit the price reflects what you get. Expect the quality of Target or Ikea, but with a different style. The store is cluttered, but almost every Pier 1 Ive been to is very cluttered. I assume this is part of their charm. At the price youre paying, if you spend a little time assessing the item in store its easy to figure out whether youre paying too much for something.Regarding this specific location, their delivery system is atrocious. Because the store is so small, any large item must first ship to the greater location. After its shipped, someone will call you to schedule a time to pick it up. Expect it to ship in one week, then another week to pick it up. This two-tier delivery system gives them time to transport it from their offsite storage location to the store. So expect a very long, multi-step delivery window after paying. Its a pain. Instead of a multi-step process, they could at least give us the choice to pick it up from their warehouse directly at your leisure.Upon picking up one of my purchases, I found they dont have enough individuals to actually get the item in your car, so expect to help out with packing and strapping it to your car. It wasnt a big deal for me, but I could imagine some customers may not expect to do handiwork.Dealing with their customer service is a mixed bag. If you ever have any issues, expect to get passed around between multiple departments over several days, all of them insisting that the next department will really be the one who can help you.So, if you want to buy from here, make sure its something you can take home right there. However, If you decide to purchase something that requires shipping or you have a problem with your order, expect to spend a lot of time getting everything worked out.

I ordered a bed through this Pier 1 location over 3 weeks ago. The furniture was delivered within a week and weekend delivery was available, which sounded like a nice perk so I didnt have to miss work for the delivery. However, the bed arrives and Pier 1 shipped it to their distributor without the foot board. After waiting around all day, no one bothered to tell us of this mistake until the delivery driver showed up at my house to tell me and attempt to deliver an incomplete order. Furthermore, no one works at the warehouse on Sundays, so instead of calling me so I didnt waste my entire day waiting around, they waited until they showed up to try to deliver an incomplete item. I told them to send back the incomplete product, as a bed would do me no good without a foot board to piece it all together.Fast forward two weeks for my rescheduled delivery and lo and behold, the delivery guys show up in a truck that is too big for my street and with TWO footboards, this time no headboard. This was after I had specifically spoken to someone at Pier 1 and someone at MDX (the company they outsource delivery to), confirming exactly what it was I ordered. Again, no one thought to call me prior to them leaving the warehouse when they realized 1) they had the wrong items and 2) that they had a truck too large to drive down narrow city streets.Between the incompetence of Pier 1 failing to deliver the right item, and the idiocy of everyone at MDX, this has been a terrible experience and I will never order anything from Pier 1 again.

This was my first and last time shopping at Pier One! I ordered some barstools from here and spent over $200 dollars and they turned out to be damaged. Fine. They said they would replace them, but instead they just glued the broken pieces back together and hope I wouldnt notice! They must think their customers are idiots and clearly dont care about treating them right. After telling the store manager about this, she offered me another set of new barstools and said she would make it right. She did not in any way that was acceptable and I returned them. I would stay away from all Pier Ones. The quality of their items are certainly not worth the money and the service is even worse. They do not value customer requisitions and they dont think their customers know what quality is!! Stay Away and Shop Elsewhere!!
