I have had the pleasure of going to see Dr. Shedlo for the past 20 years! He and his staff at the Eyecare Center of Maryland truly care about my vision needs. They have always been very professional, pleasant, and most importantly, they take pride in giving you the best care possible. I highly recommend the Eye car Center of Maryland!!!

I just visited the new location 3/11/21. I followed Dr. Shedlo from his old location in Hyattsville to his new one in Rockville! Dr. Shedlos new location is nice with more amenities. Their selection of glasses & colors are excellent, its also a computer to show you other choices & styles you can choose from. They are following CDC protocol which made me feel safe & secure, the aesthetics of the center is superior. There are sanitizers everywhere ☺️. Dr. Shedlo has always been informative, but todays visit was edifying. I was estatic to learn in depth about glaucoma, the nerves & retina of the eyes. I would highly recommend Dr. Shedlo, Ms. Shedlo & the front desk receptionist to anyone looking for a clean, sufficient & informative eye center.

Dr. Shedlo rocks! I have a complex eye condition and he was able to provide me with contact lenses that work exceptionally well, life changing stuff for me. In addition, Ive ordered glasses through them and they are top notch. I dont have vision insurance but I find their rates to be very competitive especially considering the level of service I receive.

I went to Dr. Shedlo as a new patient recently. My prescription is a bit complicated as I am very nearsighted and also have prisms in my glasses, which can make it difficult to read my prescription. Dr. Shedlo spent a lot of time with me, since the prescription resulting from his exam differed markedly from the prescription of my current glasses. He persevered and figured out the discrepancy - and explained it to me so I could understand it as well. I dont think many other optometrists would have spent the time with me that he did to figure this out - but the result has been new glasses that correct my vision MUCH better than before! I highly recommend Dr. Shedlo - I feel like I interacted with a highly skilled and experienced health care professional, instead of just a glasses vendor, and my vision is much improved as a result!

Great experience at this eye care center! Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful! I was greeted upon arrival and was checked in quickly. The front desk also made sure I knew what I was being charged for and what my insurance would cover. The eye exam didn’t take long and the eye Dr. made me feel comfortable and explained everything to me. I received a contact fitting as well and the Dr. made sure the contacts felt comfortable and I could see clearly. I would definitely recommend this eye doctor.

Extremely helpful staff. I had an eye exam and purchased a new pair of sunglasses. Dr Shedlo took time to explain the various tests and results. Tania was wonderful in helping me pick the right frame and lenses. Could not have asked for a better experience
