Ofer is the best. He fixed my garage door on a Sunday and even had all the parts (I had a broken torsion spring). The garage door is working better than ever. He knows his stuff and charges very reasonably.

One of the torsion springs broke on our garage door. Ofer was one of two who would come and give a free estimate. He was professional, gave a very reasonable price, and was very knowledgeable. He showed me how the garage door is supposed to stay up at various levels of height and he greased the wheels and track. He also gave me a lot of useful information such as:1. With wood doors, some will cut a hole in the wood and pull on the release cord to enter the house. To prevent this, there are new openers that connect directly to the steel rods.2. Openers using a belt rather than chain are better.Highly recommend that you get an estimate from him before deciding on which company to hire.

Ofer was great. He promised us a free estimate and he came in the evening after work so it was convenient with our schedules. He let me know when he was on his way and showed up at the time promised. During the estimate he was quickly able to diagnose the problem and fix it. It was such a simple fix that he didn’t charge us. He explained that we had an older unit, and did a thorough inspection of the track and all the parts to make sure everything was in order. We know that we’ll have to replace our garage opener soon, and we’ll definitely use Ofer and Metro Garage Service for that project.

We have worked with Ofer twice and have been really impressed with the quality and integrity of his work, his professionalism and demeanor. He replaced some frayed cables in an old garage door -- called back promptly and came the next day which was a Sunday. A year later, we moved to a new house and Ofer installed a new garage door. He came out to the house 3 times, once for the estimate, once to meet with the contractor to ensure that the garage installation would be able to accommodate the garage door, and again to install it. Ofer went above and beyond for us with our garage for a very reasonable price! We needed him to install a garage door opener for one of our two doors and not only did Ofer do that, he also made sure that our opener for the other garage door was safe and secure. Unfortunately, there was rotting wood that made the task harder than originally anticipated but nonetheless Ofer got it done and didn’t even charge extra for the additional hours he put in. My husband and I are extremely satisfied with his services and would hire him again in a heart beat.

I found Metro Garage Solutions on Yelp and sent a message over night. The next morning Ofer called and said that he would come to check it the same day (on Sunday!). I was pleasantly surprised with such a diligence. I liked his work ethics - he indicated the time in the morning, called to warn about slight delay. He diagnozed and fixed the problem. I do not need to replace the door now. He did a great job and is also very reasonably priced. Highly recommend him.
