One of the only places open on a Monday on the Rocky Mount campus, with $4 drafts/wine and 80s Movie Mondays! The staff was friendly, dog friendly and has a local and laid back vibe. We tried several drafts and best of all they had a variety of beers for sale and found my favorite beer (Southern Tier Pumking) already in season! Worth a stop if passing through.

This is a really cute little bottle shop with lots of local craft beers and wine as well. Theres a small bar with 11 beers/ cider on draft. Great way to sample a new type of brew. Goat island is in the Rocky Mount Mills so its nice to be able to walk around with your beer when the weather is nice. I like this little spot, worth checking out if youre into beer. Nice people too.

Great little shop! They had a small band the day we were there. The popcorn is amazing!

We had several beers here as well as some local chips and cookies. Everything was fantastic, and the bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a great variety of craft beers from around the country - ranging from California to local NC brews.They also have a few classic video games and a full-size shuffleboard table if you like a little entertainment with your drinks.Highly recommend- we’ll be back!

Neat building chock full of history. The old table was a very nice addition with a great story. Nice selection of games to play and just a fun place to taste some beer.

Very cute bottle shop with a nice varied selection on tap as well as in bottles/cans. There was a fair bit of bottled wine as well, but we were there for beer. The vibe was laid back, my toddler wasnt out of place. I think selection is mostly what you want from a bottle shop, and they did pretty well for our party of 4.

Best Craft beer spot in Rocky Mount, NC. Always something new and tasty to enjoy and the setting is perfect.

Super cool place to sit inside and drink some great craft beers. Shawna was one of the bartenders and went above and beyond to help us out. She even posed on her personal social media to help us find the best BBQ in the area.

Become a regular here, they always have a great selection and my peanut butter beers I need. 😂

The place is cool but the bathrooms and service are terrible. There are plenty of other great locations to drink at than coming here. If you want to be trapped in a bathroom and can’t get out (with rude owners) then this is your place! Apparently the bathrooms lock you in at midnight. There is a button on the inside that is suppose to let you out but it doesn’t work half of the time. How do you have a bathroom at a location that automatically locks people in when you while you are still open for business. I would never suggest going here. Choose to go to any other location in Rocky Mount. You are guaranteed to have a better time and not be trapped!

Great bottle shop with a decent selection of beers and wine. The interior of the building is a great mix of the old mill building and the new bottle shop. They had live music the night we were there. Great stop for a to go six pack or a pint.

This place is not fit for having a NYE bash. There are not enough bathrooms and the bathroom doors lock at midnight. I heard numerous people talk about how they got locked in. There is a button on the inside that you can push to let yourself out. However, it doesn’t work consistently and when you’ve been drinking there is a moment of panic when you’re locked in a bathroom.Beer selection is good but amenities are poor. Get more bathrooms and maybe some that men and women don’t have to share. I don’t want to walk into a bathroom with piss all over the floor. Disgusting.

Cozy place with great staff...Wish they would bring back the glassware. Craft beer, well any beer tastes better in a glass! If your going outside you must put it in a plastic cup. I realize thats a pain for the bar tender but this is worth the extra effort!

Great bottle shop/bar. Stopped in on a business trip for a few local brews & a pint or two. The staff is awesome, and the owner offered up a free sample of some new beers they were just getting in. Very cool setting, and in a really neat part of Rocky Mount that is being rehabbed with shops, restaurants, etc. highly recommended!

Great place to hang out. Open, rustic building that just has cool vibes. They have the music volume at an appropriate level to carry on conversation with friends; I hope it stays that way. Definitely my favorite among the bars in the Rocky Mount Mill so far.

Very chill hang out spot in a great location. The bartender was very friendly and suggested servers drinks based on what we said we like all in all I can’t wait to come back again.

First visit. Loved it. Very laided back and somewhat cozy. You can park your chair on the lawn. They have seating all over the place. Picknic tables, rocking chairs. You would have to go visit to get the vibe.

Friendly, helpful service. Wiiiiide selection of drinks, including some fun non-alcoholic options. Clean & chill atmosphere with plenty of seating inside & rocking chairs outside with a great view of Rocky Mount Mills.

Fun place. Like many lately, too much of menu for high gravity is IPA-driven.

4th Sunday monthly, Rocky Mount Beer & Hymns @ 5:15pm. Great time. Goat Island great host.

Good selection of draft beers, wine, ciders, and non alcoholic drinks. Also a great selection of cans and bottles and the staff is very knowledgeable about the beers they have on the shelves. They have cornhole boards and and a great outdoor seating area with occasional live music.

In town for work. Kinda stumbled across the entire Mill project looking for some craft beer to take to the hotel room. Place is a nice, comfortable place with a laid back vibe. Very welcoming, even to this middle-aged fat guy. Lol. The owners are in the process of redoing things a bit but a solid collection of a dozen or so taps ranging from a couple IPAs to saisons, sours, and a few dark beers along with a belgian or two - including a quad. Shelves were sparse due to the reworking of things but what they had was very good and somewhat unique. Feel like I found a winner in the area. Headed back tomorrow for dinner to check out the other places there as the whole Mill project looks really cool. Nicest area Ive seen in Rocky Mount so far.
