Far superior to all other Home Depots in the area!!! The staff go beyond the call of duty to be helpful to the customers! They are friendly, knowledgeable, and seem to really enjoy their jobs! Doers- stop shopping at other stores and shop here!
I dont know why Google maps keeps asking me to review a store I have reviewed in the past, but here goes. It is a Home Depot. It is a smaller store so they dont have everything. The people are nice, the parking is good ex except in the summer when they take 1/2 of it for the garden center. It is my quick for to since I live right up the road. They rarely have people at the register in the main building so be prepared to scan it yourself.
All the on site representatives are always very helpful and friendly. Elizabeth and the other associate in flooring are great. Thank you for your awesome service.
Found everything we needed today. Adam was very helpful in assisting us. Clean store.
Great selection of nut bolts and fasteners for all your home improvement projects.
The pro desk was awesome. The man knew what he was talking about. Great help.
Nice selection of ceiling fans. Great service.
Few times Ive been in very helpful staff because I had no clue where the random things I was looking for would be. They would either show me directly. Or give good directions. I do find it odd they have little secret hidden isle within isles. Kind of confusing. But I found what I needed and prices werent unreasonable. Was happy with my experience.
Ive never not found what I needed when going to home depot, even mid pandemic! Great for all your home improvement needs.
The item i was looking for was said to be at this location, which i generally avoid because it doesn’t have a large selection. i got assistance from the check out lady, who couldn’t leave her area. i understood this...she told me to talk to “the boss” - some guy in a black jacket who was apparently the store manager. but i never got a chance to talk to him, because he was busy talking to another employee while i stood 6 ft away waiting for them to finish. another employee came to me to help but was of no use. so i had to try to go to another location to find the item. and as i left the original employee at the checkout lane asked if i found what i needed, answer was no, and she had another “boss” who listened to my concern but also was of no use. i understand the industry, i’ve been in it before, i manage people now. all i wanted was acknowledgement and some timely help especially at 645am. leaving, the “other boss” said “well we are a friendly store and i hope this isn’t your last time in here...” to which i replied, “it will be now.”
I wouldn’t trust this store to sell me so much as a light bulb that isn’t faulty! EVERYTHING I’ve bought here in the past 2 years is either cheaply made or doesn’t work! Pure JUNK! I bought 3 of the same plastic sink pipes that ALL LEAKED and lost $300 labor paid to the plumbers and Home Depot really couldn’t have cared any less. Now their ceiling fan blades are detaching from the fan and flying across the room. Someone could get seriously hurt. That was the last straw! Until Home Depot starts buying product that actually passes inspection I can’t shop at their store anymore. In addition, I can’t seem to find any employees here that know the answers to any questions asked regarding their product! The paint department, they use to have guys working there that were very helpful and knowledgeable! Now when I go in their needing help, I have to stand there googling everything myself while the associate just stands there clueless.I’m going elsewhere unless it’s for a cleaning product and even that doesn’t seem to work anymore.
I enjoyed my brief visit. Ill be back.
Terrible, went in to get a 24 snow pusher before impending snow storm. It was 7:30 on Sunday. 15 showed available in inventory. When I asked where they were, they said they were in a rack and the machine they need to pull um was down. Was the machine down or was it just to close to closing time to pull them down? Ill leave that for you to decide. So happy I drove way out of my way for that result!
Mikki in paints is great!
Very clean and very helpful
So I was in the store this afternoon around noon .. needing to pick up a few things from the electrical section. There was an employee named Gary - from his name tag - he was part of the merchandising team is looked like. Older male, bald. He was sitting on a bucket, looking at his cell phone and picking his nose then touching product. Im not kidding, this is disgusting and he needs to be spoken to or better relieved of his job.I usually have a good experience in this store, but not sure I can go back after seeing this.
Most times you ask an employee something and they dont know..lol.lol
I urge you to support your local hardware stores and lumber yards first, but nowhere carries the kind of one stop selection the depot offers.
Lil high on prices across the board..but better customer service than lowes!!
You know that old hardware store where they help you? Scott in plumbing really helped me troubleshoot my Moen faucet, just like old times!
Their garden hose washers were well hidden. Not easy to find at all.
The young girl in the paint department was very helpful.
The employees went above and beyond to help me! They were amazing!!!
I am a licensed electrical contractor Oh.#18763After many years trying to work with electrical suppliers I find Home Depot superior in every way.Knowledge, price, returns, and my customers satisfaction. The new Home Depot Pro Rewards is a big plus. Thanks Home Depot store #3847 and of course Ernie in the electrical department. He is way beyond helpful !!!
I go to this location frequently (everyday to every other day). The employees are always very helpful and I can almost always find what I need. However, the past 3 times I’ve been there to get mulch or stone, I’ve had to load it myself. One time there were about 5 cars and it looked like a mulch free-for-all with no employees in sight. I don’t mind loading my own mulch, but I wonder how this works out for people who aren’t able to load their own purchases. Also, if you aren’t going to have any employees out to help load cars, stop having your cashiers promote it.
My favorite place to shop
Your Rocky River home depot was better than your Cleveland Berea road location. I needed a washer and at the Cleveland location taller older man did not seem he wanted to help me. I went to the Rocky River location and the man was more than helpful. I bought a washer from that location.
I have been to HD several times in last couple of months getting things to fix up rental and staff are always around to help with any questions.
Very helpful and knowledgeable
Way better than the other guys.
I got in there couldnt find what I was looking for ast one lady she looked at right up found the product walked me to it what a great staff thank you
Solid Home Depot store. It’s a pretty run of the mill location but it definitely has a narrow selection of items. For the most common items, this may work for you, but be sure to check their website/app or call ahead to check stock. We typically need to head to a larger store like North Olmsted or Avon to get what we need.
Lots of people there to help & there friendly. Just a expensive big box store.
Look for the deals. Not everything is the best price or best quality. Still has a lot of good items.
Found it w great service, plenty of choice but lacked on tooling like big size drills.
The people that work there are extremely helpful. I was looking for a garage door opener they knew exactly which Ill it was on. I found it right away. Is also looking for a smart electrical plug. The girl at the service desk looked in up, Called one of the guys in the electrical department, And he found it right away. Couldnt a been easier. The people that work there are really very helpful.
Dont interrupt two employees talking when asking for help here they will treat you very poorly! Sort of like they are doing you a favor when you ask them to do their job.
Selection of potting soil and herbs/vegetable plants was poor but what was available looked nice. The cashier was extremely nice which made the experience acceptable.
Friendly, helpful staff.
Great support in helping me find the best light for our kitchen.
This Home Depot is fine, the layout is not what I would consider intuitive and narrow aisles feel cramped. This makes it very difficult to find what Im looking for. The employees are quite friendly which is great considering youll likely need help finding what you are looking for.Overall, I would avoid this Home Depot unless they are the only place to carry the brand that you are looking for and like any box store their prices are high even in comparison to their own online store.
Its a Home Depot......just like the others lol
Pro desk staff make you wait for unreasonable amount of time unnecessarily. I Use just about every home depot in the northeast Ohio area and this location has historically been one of the worst experiences for me.
Always find what I need
This store is grab for quick trips
Missy was a great cashier!
Exactly what youd expect, its a Home Depot.
Came in looking for fruit fly traps. Everything was neat and in place. Walked to Lights to find a bulb for a lamp. The Light Guy (introduced himself as such) helped out a lot. Great experience!
Always helpfully but, online not as good. Store personnel very good online all over the quality spectrum from poor to very good. Ive ordered everything from a floor kitchen area pad to a refrigerator from online with various degrees of satisfaction and service.
There was one really helpful guy
Always long lines and little to no help in the departments. Makes is a difficult store for a true DYI person versus professionals.
Hire smart people, if you did you would get a five star rating...
Michelle, Bart and Mary were excellent! Just the first visit for me and my home.
I may be a little harsh on my rating. But when I ask for help finding a item from a employee, Im actually asking you to show me not point at a aisle and say down there in lumber. If you dont happen to know exactly where help me find someone that does. Luckily I did find a gentlemen in lumber that did exactly that once I got down there and still couldnt find the item myself. It was not in the aisle the first man said it was in.
A quick and easy in and out.
Got help from a man named Tommy in the electrical department. This man is so upbeat and pleasant to deal with. He tries to help solve any lighting problem and is extremely knowledgeable. He is willing to take time and not just show the customer where the product is located. Home Depot can be proud to have a man like this working for them.
There are Home Depot customers and then there are the “other” box stores. Home Depot does it well; there lighting fixtures are not as diverse as “the other” store, but online you can find whatever you need. HD lumber is pretty straight with few holes. Paint department is the best. And most of all, HD has great customer service, but you already know that if you shop there.
Found what I needed. In and out in no time
This store is much smaller and set up differently than most of the other Home Depot stores, so it was difficult to find things. Overall it was a good experience and the personnel were friendly and helpful. Their pro parking area consists of two spaces so that parking is very limited.
I figured Rocky River, great area and will have great customer service..needless to say I was wrong. I was greeted by Dominique and Debbie with the worst possible attitudes. I had a piece of yard equipment I wanted to return (simply didnt need it) and I was 2 days past the 30 days. They go, will thats the policy, too bad for you. Apparently theres only a 30 day policy for gas powered equipment. Well, would be nice to know. Its no where on the receipt, only on their website. What if people dont have computers, apparently we are all supposed to have crystal balls. Needless to say, I, my family and representative from our rental property business will NEVER shop at another home depot.
I always find what I need. All employees ask if we need assistance. Its nice to have help around when we need it!
Convenient
This Rocky River Home Depot is OK for simple needs. The size of the store is considerably smaller than a normal Home Depot, therefore selection of items is limited. This is perfect for a basic consumer, but for contractors or weekend warriors this is not a great place. Make the extra drive and head to Lowes or a regular sized Home Depot.
Wont be shopping here anymore!!
Roberta helped us look up information on an outdoor pagoda even after we said we probably werent going to buy it. She was very kind and helpful. We didnt buy the pagoda yet, but its now a more serious consideration.
Usually hav all i need there
Clean small store
Big selection!
Well theyre all the same, you know? But yes its a good store with good people and they have everything you need. Good access and parking.
Just picked up a couple small items. Staff checked me out quickly!
One of my favorite home improvement stores
Almost always have what is needed.
DIY. My husband and I love to go there. Always find what we need to finish our projects. We recommend HD to all our friends.
This store has gone down hill in the last 2 years and now its hit rock bottom. No one will or can help you, managment is just as bad.
Young man in the lumber dept. was very helpful cutting a piece of plywood.
Nice store. Not enough staff at registers. Great variety of products
Bad customer service
This is the smallest home Depot is the area but they still have everything I need for quick trips, also my cashier was really nice.
We went yesterday to buy wood for an outdoor project. The guy at the cutting section was absolutely fantastic, took all the time to guide us through the purchase process and even came with ideas to help us same some bucks. I highly recommend this HomeDepot store!!!
They have a couple of nice broads that work there I d like to take them back to the lumber department and show them the wood
The woman in the paint department last night had all the answers for me :) So glad to get such great help!
Always have what I need. Employees are very knowledgeable
This has been my local home depot for a while because I do so much work in Rocky River.
Great service. Very knowledgeable and helpful.
I went in to your store to buy furnace filters. Your employee refused to get the filters down and told me that they were defective. So I went to Lowes and purchased three filters there. Because your employee lied to me about your filters being defective you. You lost a 75 dollar sale. The people at Lowes treated very well. I shall be shopping there from now on.
They do have allot to chose from vs your local hardware. Allot of non contractor vehicles park in the contractor spots which makes it hard for local business contractors to load heavy materials into the vehicle. Just make sure when you pull something off the shelf its what your looking for because allot of things are misplaced but that goes for all home depot stores. I dont like the fact that they jack up the prices on most materials which are so much cheaper online from specialty places. I mean some of their products are 3 times the price and make you feel like your getting a good deal (Not!!). The staff is very friendly and they work with you on items that were damaged and easy returns. Make sure when you do purchase something that it has all the materials in the package because they dont check returned items to make sure everything is in there before putting it back on the shelf.
Closing at 6 pm? So I cant run and grab something i need after dinner? Lowes is still open at this time so, you just lost business.
Manager help me was very quick prompt and courteous got exactly what I needed didnt have to wait long in the price was great
I was trying to spend almost 600$ buying a whole house fan online in store and for whatever reason home depot doesnt except cash for this purchase. Now Ive gotta purchase my whole house fan somewhere else. Thank you home depot for yet again another policy that makes absolutely no sense.
The whole shopping center is a mess with traffic. I hate it and avoid it when possible. The store is ok but not exceptional.
You can find just about anything you want but good luck finding someone to help you if you need it
Adam showed me some products I didnt know existed to save me a good hour of labor. Five stars isnt enough!
I love home depot. Great prices and good selections on many tools. The lumber srlection is crappy at times.
I always find what I need without the hassle. Never a problem with returns either.
98% of the time they have every thing i need.
Ron, manager honored his word
Great service, just a little smaller then the normal ones.
Great place for the Do It Yourself person.
Horrible. You cannot navigate the isles in Xmas. The cart barely fits one cashier in A-line cart in the parking lot you cant even park no wonder brick and mortar is going under this is a perfect example it of why its easier to shop online
