Poor customer service. Walked in asking for chemicals and they didn’t have what I wanted.. I would of spent a lot on other things for pool but he didn’t want to get up off chair and ask questions.. when asked for a specific kind of chemical they just shook head no… I would’ve expected a discussion about alternatives maybe??
Great local option for pool supplies. Great service options
Very helpful, took the time to answer our questions and offer great advice! Much rather shop local than go through Amazon.
Wonderful people! The customer service is great. They give great advice on what to do to balance your water. Not a sales push! Several times I have gone it to test my water and didn’t buy anything. Last year, went in with filter head to get parts to rebuild. They rebuilt it on site for a great price! I will always use them for help with the pool. I’m a do-it- yourself kind of person and they happily share their knowledge!
My goto spa store. Service with a smile and good advice.
Not very friendly and hard to communicate
Quality service.Professional Guidance.Thanks so much.We are new to the community.Support Locally-owned business!
Very helpful folks.
Super nice and helpful people. Competitive prices and they always have what I need.
So helpful and knowledgeable! I wont go anywhere else! Quality products and even better quality advice!
They are very friendly and offer excellent service.
I cant tell you the last time I wrote a negative review for a company, but the service I received from Northwest Arkansas Pool & Spa was poor enough (very low threshold) to warrant one.We requested a One Time Maintenance service from NWA P&S, which included a draining and cleaning. A younger gentleman came to service our hot tub. Very polite and punctual, zero issues there. He was very nice. We showed him to the hot tub and said if you need anything from us, just let us know. He drained the tub and cleaned it, mostly without issue (getting the filter out took some extra work but no big deal), and began filling it for us before we said we could take it from here.Afterward, we noticed there were still several pieces of debris in our hot tub, rocks, leaves, etc. I suppose I expected that to be cleaned out, but not a huge deal. We also saw some build-up on the sides of our hot tub still, so we called and spoke with Michelle. We asked her about the cleaning, and she told us they can’t use anything abrasive to clean the hot tub to avoid damaging it. We werent aware of that prior to service, but OK. Again, not a big deal. She gave us some tips to help remove the build up.The next day, Tuesday, I went down to a shed we have below our hot tub (our hot tub is located on a bottom deck, which is fully covered by the top deck, and it sits above an outdoor shed; the top of the shed isn’t water tight because it is protected from the elements by the covered deck/hot tub; we didn’t build it, it’s just how it is). I noticed a lot of water on the outside of it, so I looked inside the shed and it is flooded (the shed doesn’t flood or get wet after rains). I cleared things out, grabbed a box fan, turned it on high, and left the door open to dry it out. Come Friday morning, 4 days after service, the shed is still wet. So we called back and spoke with Michelle again, asking her how they drain the hot tub, trying to figure out what happened. She said they use a syphon and a hose; that they don’t drain it by pulling the plug as that would take much longer. I explain the situation to her regarding the shed, and I explained the setup, as mentioned just above. Here’s where things went off the rails.First, in the middle of our conversation, Michelle stops me and bluntly asks “well what would you like me to do about this?” The question took me aback because the conversation seemed cordial before that, to which I answered, “I don’t want any kind of refund; I’m just giving you customer feedback. Are you not interested in customer feedback?” She changed her tune quickly, but only briefly, as she soon informed me, amazingly, I should have told them about the shed. In disbelief, I asked what she said and she repeated herself.Somehow, according to Michelle at NWA Pool & Spa, I should preemptively know their procedures for servicing our hot tub. Rather than the employee simply explaining the situation to us, what they’ll do, how they’ll service the hot tub, asking if there’s precautions they need to take, I needed to know ahead of time and tell them what to watch out for. I needed clairvoyance, I needed to Minority Report this service and know how NWA P&S would service our hot tub without having used them prior.Regardless of how Michelle says they typically drain hot tubs, facts don’t lie. And the fact our shed has been wet for 5 days now tells me the draining of the hot tub was conducted poorly. I don’t suspect there was any kind of ill-intent at all. Conversely, I believe it was all accidental, which is why I called and asked how the drain is conducted because we didn’t witness it, and I didn’t call wanting any kind of monetary compensation. The sheer fact this simple phone call turned into a blame the customer for not preemptively revealing facts session is astounding. An incredibly poor level of customer service. This was the first and only time we’ll use this company based solely on our phone conversations with Michelle. Not recommended.
Awesome sales. Not pushy and answers even incident questions
Even though our hot tub is NOT a brand this place sells (CalSpas and it is more than a decade old) the owner was willing to come look at our hot tub to determine if the issue was something he felt comfortable fixing. He was able to decipher the issue and came up with a solution. Our experience was great! I highly recommend using this business for your home spas needs or even buying products to maintain your hot tub.
We bought our hot tub and chemicals from previous owner. New owners are very helpful and nice. Researched prices and they are right on target with online price for parts. Would highly recommend.
Not too impressed so far.
Great little shop. Has that mom & pop feel to it. The lady that works there is SUPER nice and helpful. Oh and the prices.. Better than Ive found anywhere else.
I am a newbie when it comes to maintaining a spa and the owners at Northwest Pool and Spa have been awesome at teaching me how to take care of my spa. They offer free water testing and they are true professionals. I would highly recommend to family and friends.
They have room to negotiate on their hot tubs. But theyre so nice its hard to try to negotiate. The owners nice too.
Very nice people drove over an hour to get better service.
Needed a part to fix my pools filter, and was told it would be $71 for the part without installation. I found the exact same part from the manufacturers website for $24, with free shipping. When asked about the price, the manager here told me that they have very low markup and this was the best price available anywhere. Personally, I dont feel like paying nearly 3x more just to see a fake smile.
Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. If you need service or maintenance on your pool or spa Id highly recommend Northwest Arkansas Pool and Spa!!
Randy knows how to deliver! 2019 has been the year of pool troubles for me and every time I call Randy he comes out and fixes the problem. Saves me money by replacing a fuse instead of a $600 part, and corrects the mistakes of the local pool parts house. Superior service!
I have been in here twice to get parts to fix my tub as well as talk about chemicals and start up. Very helpful and nice. I highly recommend them for your hot tub/spa needs.
Replaced our pool filter system and did a great job. Jeff, the owner, performed the replacement work and did everything he promised. The new filter looks and works perfectly. Jeff is a genuinely nice guy and a pleasure with which to do business.
They are super knowledgeable and always willing to help.
I have the weekly pool service and not only is it a fair price but the guy does a great job. Thanks NWA Pool & Spa. Keep up the good work
U have had mixed results here. Some great service some terrible. But the do give give good results to help your pool.
Had what I needed at a good price.
My pool pump went out on a Saturday. I went in NWA Pool and Spa that Monday afternoon. They had a replacement motor in stock and were out Tuesday morning and replaced it. Needless to say, it doesnt get any better than that! Customer for life!
Nice folks, very knowledgeable and eager to help. My go-to choice for all things related to the pool.
Extremely rude customer service for spa service.
Couldn’t ask for a more friendly staff.
Uncaring. Go in asking for pool closing kit any get a. ...what chemical do you need? Try to support local businesses and this is what you get.
Great customer service.
Kind of wormy
Good excellent
