Carved in Stone was a very pleasant buying experience. Beth was more than willing to take all the time necessary to make sure our choice of stone would work for us. She was knowledgeable of her product and installation. She followed through to completion.We would certainly recommend them.

OMG!!! As soon as I walked in I was overwhelmed with the amount of choices they offered. When I asked for a bathroom vanity quote, Beth gave me one in less than 5 minutes! She also talked me into driving to Jeff City, which I didn’t want to do, to pick my granite slab. I’m glad she did, because the experience was awesome! Beth called or emailed me info and pics during the whole process and the install team was professional! Do NOT get countertops without talking to them first! Thank you Beth!!! My wife and I are thrilled with the quality and experience!

Our countertops were installed in 2016 and we recently made the decision to have the backsplash removed. Therefore, I contacted Carved in Stone in Jefferson City and spoke with Bobbi who called back and stated she found our kitchen layout and would have Lindsay call with pricing and a time frame. On April 11, I received a voicemail from Beth with an available date to remove the backsplash. I called back 2 days later after confirming my work schedule and informed Beth that after 2pm will be a better time because I work nights in the Emergency Department . She confirmed the time for after 2 PM and stated, “I’ll let them know.” On Tuesday, April24, I received a call from a staff member informing that the crew would be at my house at 12:30 PM on Wednesday. I reminded her that I will not be available at 1230 PM due to work. Long story short, I was transferred to Lindsay and advised her the time will not work. She said “it’s going to have to or you can reschedule; I cannot have my men sitting for an hour, until you get up.” Disregarding the fact that some of us cannot help our work hours. I was very adamant about the time and gave it a few minutes before calling Beth at the Rolla location. She sounded very defensive by the tone of her voice and notified me that she had already been contacted By Lindsay over the situation. Beth, assured me that she always listens to her customers which is not true. In our conversation, I had to constantly ask her to please stop interrupting me so I could finish my sentence which she never did. When I was purchasing my countertop, she was polite and ready to help. As soon as a mistake was noted, she did not however, take responsibility for her actions and became very rude, disrespectful, and defensive. Beth ended our conversation with “WE WOULD’NT WANT TO TAKE OUT YOUR BACKSPLASH ANYWAY, FIND ANOTHER COMPANY” and then hung up. I like to buy locally, but this is exactly why people choose not to. I understand as a business, you cannot make everyone happy. However, customer service is very important and everyone should be treated as a valued customer regardless of the situation.
